I had made a reservation for two nights, one day at a time, so my reservation was on a different floor, but the staff kindly arranged for me to have the same bed for both days at the reception. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location is great, just a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station and there is a convenience store nearby. There are shoe boxes separated by bed numbers. If you ask the staff, they will keep your luggage for you. There are three shower rooms and about five chairs in the dressing room. Sometimes they were full depending on the time, but I didn't have any problems as I waited a little and they became available. There were two hair dryers (free) and a paid washing machine. In addition to a futon and pillow, there were two hangers, one TV (with headphone rental), a foldable table, and a safe with a password (with instructions) in the capsule bed. The only inconvenience was that there was only one outlet in the capsule bed. When there were few people using the outlets in the dressing room, I charged my phone there while doing my makeup. Other than that, I had no problems and it was a good experience. I will definitely use it again. Thank you very much.

I also brought slippers because I read in other reviews that it would be nice to have them. [Good Points] - I stayed for 2 days in the female dormitory and did not experience any problems with the drainage or hot water in the bath, or with the cleanliness of the washroom. - The location is excellent, less than 5 minutes to Nagoya Station. - They provide umbrellas for rental, which was very helpful. - It was convenient to have rinse-in shampoo, body soap, facial cleanser, cleansing oil, toner, and moisturizer available. [A Few Disappointments] - I was notified by email after making the reservation that I could not leave my luggage before check-in. The website stated that the front desk is open from early morning, so I wish they had clearly mentioned that they do not offer luggage storage. - The lockers available for a 1,000 yen deposit were only the size of a drawer. They cannot fit a tote bag, for example. There is a storage area, but it is in the form of a chain attached to a pole, so it is suitable for suitcases with locks, but not for tote bags without locks. I ended up keeping my luggage on my bed. However, my main bag was thin, so it was useful to be able to put it there (each room has a safe for storing valuables, so I think that is sufficient). - The website mentioned that you can borrow cosmetics for free, so I didn't bring a base makeup. However, it turns out that this service is only available for those who made a reservation through Hostel Wasabi's website. For those who did not, there is a charge of 300 yen. Additionally, it seems that sponges and tips are not provided for free (the fee is unknown). It was mentioned on the website, but I overlooked it (there is no problem on the hostel's side).

There was a women-only floor, and I was able to stay there with peace of mind. If the sleeping space is on the upper bunk, the upper side is slightly open, and you can see into the neighboring room, so I thought the women-only floor was good. I was on the upper bunk in the middle of the floor, so I was able to rest without being bothered by noise, but I think people in the space right by the entrance of the floor would be bothered by the sound of opening and closing doors and noise from the hallway. I think it's a good idea to make an early reservation or bring earplugs or other noise-cancelling items. There are no free items such as room wear, towels, toothbrushes, or slippers. There are shared items such as shampoo, conditioner, facial cleanser, toner, lotion, and tissues, which I used. You can also drink water and tea for free. It was clean and I will use it again.

Perfect location which is very close to Nagoya station, with Nice staff, and not bad sanitary and facilities... but I forgot that I am a super sensitive person for noise. But overall, this hostel is very nice for the value. If you are searching for an affordable place to stay for a very short period, I can recommend here for you. But only for a short term like under 3 days or something. Since each room was not completely isolated, so you might be affected by noises that others making. I barely slept while staying here... despite professional and nice workers who can speak English and good facilities which were in clean and good condition.
