      “Friendly staff, excellent location”

      I enjoyed my stay, excellent location as close to Sakae subway station about 3-4 mins walk. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk, very polite. A big thanks to Suzaku and some other staff who has given me some pointers to see the Cherry Blossoms and have been very helpful and patient. Their English is good which helps with communication. Hotel has great facilities, toiletries, variety of nice teas and coffee, hairbrush, toothbrus and toothpaste, daily towels, face lotion and cleansers, etc. The room has a strong smell of cigarette when I walked in which made me cough. The good thing is they have an Air Diffuser in the room, also I can open the window to clear the smell. The Sakae area has many bars around and a bit dirty in the area. There are tons of restaurants and shops around and in the subway, makes it very convenient to stay in this area. The food in Sakae area is cheaper than Nagoya station. It is a great area to stay. I would recommend this hotel.

      “Great location wonderful staff!”

      Stayed here with my parents for a week long trip, the location is fantastic and the staff were very nice. Rooms are indeed a bit small but for the price and location and overall cleanliness I think it’s totally acceptable. It does get a bit rowdy on weekends due to it being next to some bars but since it’s Japan it was never unsafe and you can’t hear anything once you’re in your room.

      “Super convenient to anywhere”

      Best place for convenience as it is very close to Sakae station and easy to move your luggage around. Rooms are generally clean and amenities are standard as most 3 star hotel in Japan. Washing machine is also available in the hotel as well which makes things easier for doing laundry.

      “Great value and good location. However, outside the hotel it can be pretty dirty early in the morning due to the many entertainment services nearby.”

      The room is decently sized for a solo traveller. Clean room and there are lots of amenities in the lobby for guests to use. There is a female-only floor, which is only accessible by ladies who stay on this floor. I love the big table in the room, as it’s very useful for ladies like me who always bring my complete set of skincare products when travelling so I can put everything on the table. I only have a 20-inch luggage and a 40L backpack, so the room has sufficient space to open these items, but maybe not for those who bring 28-inch luggage. There is a lot of entertainment, like bars or KTV, nearby, so it can be pretty messy and full of people at night. However, I was staying on the high floor so I couldn't hear anything from my room.
