    “Disgusting ”

    I slept with a mask on because the vent is covered in black gunk…possibly black mold. The bathroom is covered in grime and mold. It’s the most disgusting bathroom I’ve ever seen…toilet cover has black dots all over, the caulking around the sink is moldy, and there’s rust everywhere. The lobby smells so bad…a musky sewage smell.

    “2 nights”

    We recently spent 2 nights at Hotel Sor (Room 609). The check in went quick, 2 elevators available, comfortable beds in a very clean room and a great breakfast buffet. Dedicated staff. Hotel Sor is centrally located in Phnom Penh and many attractions can be reached in a few minutes.

    “Established hotel in Phnom Penh ”

    Fairly good old style mid range hotel located in a busy neighbourhood of Phnom Penh. Presentation of facilities were good. Central market, Sorya shopping mall and numerous local eateries are nearby. To the river front 7 minutes TukTuk ride. Buffet breakfast was ok but available food variety was low. Our room came with a balcony but unable to use it because it was facing a busy street. The room wasn’t soundproof and the noise coming from motor vehicles was unbearable at times otherwise overall stay was ok.

    “Great place to stay for the value”

    I want a place to stay near the central market, closed to other markets including Royal Palace. Hot breakfast will fill your appetite along with very friendly staffs. A bit noisy if your room is at the front, but I consider this as street view. Good opportunity to watch the traffics from above :-)

    “Great place to stay”

    I need a place to stay nearby to Central market. And to me Hotel Sor it is. For the price, it is in deed a nice place to stay. With extremely friendly staff, plenty of in room amenities and exceptional breakfast, I extended my stay from original plan of 4 nights till the end of my trip. I do recommend taking Deluxe room rather than superior room for a few more bucks.

    “Nice staff and spacious, clean hotel”

    The door man is nice, the staff on the front door are helpful, the cleaners are helpful and came by my room every day. They clearly spray for bugs and staff have kept the hotel looking nice. Breakfast is good, again the people working there were pleasant and helpful. My room was at the back and I didn't hear anyone else in their rooms. Great place, I'd stay again.

    “Can be better ”

    For a historical building like this hotel the decors can be much better. It is a bit Khmer , a bit Chinese and a bit European so it is confusing. The reception area and the cafe seemed to have mosquitoes everywhere. My bathroom was flooded every time shower was taken. Having said I will come back though and I hope mosquito is not an issue.

    “The Sor”

    The Sor is not a young hotel by any means. I will say that this located in a decent area The staff there was awesome couldn't ask for a better stuff I don't think. Have breakfast every morning with quite good I must say. My bed was a little hard for my taste but for someone else it may be perfect. That was a little bit of an ant problem in my room back again it's not a young hotel It's no good say it looks pretty good. So I would recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there again.

    Generally, an OK hotel smack in the middle of city. Accessibility. No 24-hr convenience stores nearby. If u need hot water, my open tap at least 5 minutes before. Limited staff has ability to conversant in english.

    If you ate not after a flash place to stay this place is basic. Clean and tidy. No pool. Staff were good. Bathroom floors are very slippery when wet.
