"I had a single, non-smoking Western/Japanese style room with a great view of Sagami Bay. The room had a spacious living area and comfortable bed. The bathroom, while small, was well appointed and the shower had good water pressure. I enjoyed the onsen, 5 in 3 days, especially after a long walk at Jogasaki Kaigan. There were many choices for breakfast and the evening meal dishes was superbly presented, many pre-prepared which explains the reason booking is essential. The staff were polite and helpful. I was pleased to use the hotel shuttle bus because one wet evening none of the four taxi drivers on the rank at the station I approached claimed they knew the location of the Resporia Hotel."

"The hotel is within walking distance from Atami Station, which has a lot of shops in the surrounding. It has a carpark and the parking rate is quite cheap, which is good as I rented a car from Tokyo and drove to Atami. Room is a bit dated, but is clean and everything inside is of good quality. The design of the bed is quite smart, it has a empty bottom so that you can store your large suitcases underneath. Staff are very helpful even though most have very limited English ability, breakfast is included and is decent. This is definitely a good choice if you don't mind paying a bit more than a budget hotel."
