if you have interview appointments at the US Embassy, this hotel is really very accessible and a walking distance to Ermita church where you can pray before heading to your interview...if you were with kids they are close to Manila Ocean Park also..if you're for shopping they are just walking distance also to Robinson's Place Ermita..I highly recommend..

This hotel is satisfactory. Air conditioning did sound strained in dealing with the incoming heat of 90+ degrees temperature from the outside. The hotel cafe had posted prices for its menu items, but be ready for an unexpected 12% VAT and and 10% service charge that will be added to the bill. Although the following complaint cannot be directed to the hotel, the str...

Ermital is a weird place. It feels like a local neighborhood, and is obviously very poor. There is some modern development consisting of condos and the Robinsons shopping mall complex. Due to it's location near Manila's tourist attractions, Ermita has many budget guesthouses. These guesthouses are cheap, but they are not nice. They are small, old, and dirty. If you ha...

I stayed at this hotel April 15-16. The location of the hotel is great. It is in Manila proper. It is very close to Roxas Blvd.(to watch the sunset, walk along the boardwalk), it is close to Rizal Park, Robinson Mall Manila, Ermita church, lots of convenience stores, fast food and restaurants, and it is also close to the US embassy. The hotel staff are quite helpful(lu...

Again, I will say the same thing about this hotel. It is one of the best I have ever stayed in as far as value for the money. Due to the location, it is not as good as some in Manila, for example, Makati area, etc. But, it's not a dangerous area and has a McDonalds in walking distance and an inexpensive laundry just around the block, about 200 yards walk. Again t...

Highly recommended if you’re processing your visa. St lukes medical ext. clinic is just a few walk from the hotel, US embassy is a few minute ride. A lot of fast food chains around, Robinsons Mall Manila is walking distance. Ermita Shrine(Catholic Church) is also near if you want to attend mass and/or light a candle. Friendly, accomodating and prompt(request)staff. Ver...

This was my second time there. It's not a luxury hotel, just a great place to place your stuff while you site see elsewhere. Great wifi and staff. Great location too (walk south on Mabini, turn left at Santa Monica and in 5 minutes you're at Robinson's mall. Churches (Ermita (north) and Malate (south))are within 20 minutes walking distance.

We decided to stay at this hotel because of its excellent reviews and its affordable rates. Although the hotel is small just 6 floors, the rooms we stayed in are very spacious. Big king bed, big bathroom, big windows! Although they dont have swimming pool, they have big bath tub. My son didnt want to leave the tub and my mom also enjoyed her beauty dip. The location i...

The hotel has a good location for one in the Ermita Area - it's near an LRT Station, you can easily get a taxi, and there are 7 parking levels available. The room amenities are more than or just about what you would expect for a 3-star hotel: split-type and silent aircon, 21-inch TV, refrigerator, complimentary water, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, clean T...

I booked for a 6 day stay initially. I was so happy with the hotel I ended up staying an extra week. The room had everything I needed. Fridge, stove/oven, very comfortable bed, on 14th floor so no street noise, A big window that I could open and smell the sea and what a great view down past Makati, to MOA and back towards the city of Manila. My aircon was cold and quie...

We had an excellent stay at Rosas Garden Hotel. First time to book a hotel at Agoda, but the experience is super easy breezy. Super accomodationg staff, nice and comfy room and super fulfilling breakfast. Nice WIFI connection. Plus factor is that it is super near to the US embassy. And there is near Ermita church. Experience is super good. Definitely will stay here aga...

In Ermita Mabini Street, this was a surprise find - at almost same rates as Red Planet - but three times large room. Room has table with chairs, full cupboard, half pantry with large sink and big bed. Toilet us also acceptable size though not as large as room size would relate. But in philliphines standards, it's not bad. Ample space to keep things..in fact 37 Sq. M ...

No restaurant but a variety of choices within the area. Near Ermita Church and UN Ave. Easy to hail a cab. Standard Queen is ok except for the bath tub (I don't like bath tubs) which is old. Double Twin is better. Bathroom is clean. Staff are cordial. Value for money!

This is going to sound cliche but my review is going to start with: As far as budget hotels go... And here we go... As far as budget hotels go, Go Hotels Ermita isn't too bad... Their location is near food places, near Robinson's Ermita and GrabCar drivers don't have a hard time looking for it... The room is quite small but enough for a place to put your luggage and h...

Southern Cross Hotel is a budget hotel in the Ermita area of Manila. It is a friendly hotel, I stayed there for 10 days covering late January /early February 2017. For me the price was very good value, The room was very clean, a bar is situated on the ground floor. They have live music on twice weekly. Only down side was that elevator was not working. The engineer was ...

We stayed at the hotel for one night for business. Check in/out was fast. Rooms were spacious and clean but outdated. Hot and cold shower were working and basic amenities were provided like towels (although one towel was torn on the sides), shampoos and soaps. AC unit was working but the vent was broken. It was always facing downward we have to use something to keep ...

Just a few meters away ideal for early morning queue at St. Luke's Ermita Extension Clinic. Lobby is welcoming with good air-condition and perky floral arrangement. Staff and security guard courteous. Dated hotel but responsive staff and relatively quiet place to go home to at the end of the day.

Recommended for visitors having business at the American Embassy or anywhere around Ermita. The taxi drivers were mostly dishonest which made getting around problematic. Great for shopping at Robinson's Mall. The taxis should make getting around cheap but the alternative is the fixed rate cabs or vans which charge higher rates than the taxis which use their meters and...

I had the loveliest time at Miramar Hotel! Stayed for two nights, just for an event in the adjacent Hotel. Miramar is quite beautiful, a true art deco place. Carpeted stairs, ornate decor, and an airy open interior. I was given a corner room on the 4th floor. (I booked the most basic one, so if that's it then wow, and if I was upgraded, then awesome!) I had SO MUCH ...

Moved to this hotel from another in the same neighborhood because I needed to cut my expenses. BP was less than half the price of the first hotel for essentially the same level of accommodations. The "single deluxe" is not what Americans would consider "deluxe." Although the room was spacious, the furnishings were minimal in the extreme--a "single" bed (not a twin) abo...

We booked a family room, and because we were 6, m hotel add another room for free for 2 nights.. Thanks so much we enjoyed the comfortable and soft bed.. US embassy is just so near for 2 minutes walk, ermita shrine, jolibee and mang inasal are just steps away. We spent the whole afternoon at manila ocean park, and passed at jose rizals monument..all are in walking dis...

The hotel staff was very friendly and professional during my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The house keeping staff was very friendly and professional. I had a couple of issues with the room and when i brought them to the hotel staff they corrected them right away. I brought a camera with me and the hotel loaned me a transformer for the room so i could...
