"It was my first time traveling to Kanom, and i chose this resort since its new with a good deal. There is a coffee shop in front of the resort, i could say that "Thai Tea and green tea Waffle" is the bomb and not pricey at all. Since you first step into the room, the good sense of aroma would hit your nose and that is the good thing about it. At the moment, the resort is opening the second phrase, so there was a construction site nearby but that won't make any annoyance. They provide the mosquito repellent pest control in every room, so you will be relieved about this issue. Also, the bed and blanket are very comfortable and clean. There is a gorgeous spot to catch the moment of sunset, only 15 mins away from the resort, you will find the layers of natural rocks with the clear and beautiful sea, and you will see Samui Island from the far. I could say that i really love this spot. Not far from here, there are several restaurants to chill out with your people. Another fun activity is the dolphin watching, you are allowed to feed them and will have a chance to take a look around the island which is really fascinating moment to me. However, this is a really short trip of mine, so i didn't get to visit any other places, but i think its worth spending for all of those things. "

"The location is little far from the center and the beach but you will need a scooter anyways in khanom, you can rent it from the hotel for 200, just be aware that at least for us there was absolutly zero gasoline-not so nice trying to find a gas station in a new place where nobody speaks english, not even the staff except the owner. Just one thing really pissed me off, other lady who works here was waiting us downstairs (when we checked out )with a scooter and offered us a ride to the minibuss station for a 100baht per person, claiming us that we had to hurry and that it was a far away. Well the guy drove us one by one across the street to the main road, max 500 meters from the hotel, we would have walked faster. During our 9h travel time to koh jum, this was the most expensive trip. It really got me question the hole reliability of the hotel staff, is there something missing our cases? Was the gasoline thing just a one way to make us give them gas? Im so sorry because the owner was so nice but this really made me dissappointed and make me feel like a fool. Even though its not a lot, we would have had better use for the money. "

"My second stay at Hallo Villa, and I know I'll be back again. Just 9 or 10 bungalows in various styles spaced out around a beautifully quiet garden with plenty of shade, and a well maintained pool. It's not 5 star luxury, but it is definitely one of the best places I have stayed in Thailand. The owners and staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and relaxed, and can offer help and advice if needed. Not right on the beach, but the beautiful grounds and views out across the countryside to the mountains more than make up for this, and it's only a couple of minutes away on the free bikes. To appreciate Khanom, you really need your own transport anyway (motorbikes can be arranged through the hotel), and there are plenty of different stretches of beautiful unspoilt beach to explore nearby. Kitchen provides excellent breakfast, and limited, but very tasty other options, but ideally you need to be able to get out and sample the various places to eat in the area. I would wholeheartedly recommend this as the ideal place to stay (though a bit of me doesn't want to, as the selfish part of me wants to keep it to myself!)."

"I had a great stay at Khanom Garden Suite. My room was big, clean and spacious as well as affordable and the owner Toy was most helpful with everything. Motorbike rental was cheap (150 / day) and super convenient on the spot. Water was included in price and there was a full size fridge in the room as well. Khanom is peaceful and has great local food at local prices, as long as you avoid the beachfront tourist places. Will def come back!"

"We stayed for 3 nights in 2 Lampan Rooms and paid just over 1000thb per night for each room (after tax and service charge).. For the price the rooms were very good and nicely arranged. The setting is very nice and the resort seemed well maintained. There's a decent restaurant in the complex as well. The staff were friendly and very helpful. When we overslept on the first morning they brought our breakfast to the rooms which was a very nice touch. The place is a bit out of the way, this makes it peaceful but you might need some transport to get around. It did look like the resort had something on offer (bikes and possibly something more) but we didn't need it so never checked. I would be very happy to return again in future."
