I am an American who lives a pretty good life in the Philippines, used to nice hotels and great food. I read many reviews about the Bayview Park Hotel, many of which were negative left by foreigners. I am going to attempt to set the record straight from a foreigners perspective. 1. If you are thinking that the Bayview is a 5 star hotel, expecting a 5 star exper...

The staff's quality of service is like that of a 5-star hotel. All of them are very accomodating and very kind to requests. The room is okay. The breakfast is ala carte but the taste is good/satisfactory. I was a solo traveler and my room has 2 breakfast, I was offered to take the 2 or take the other meal as lunch which was favorable for me. There was no complimentary ...

Ermital is a weird place. It feels like a local neighborhood, and is obviously very poor. There is some modern development consisting of condos and the Robinsons shopping mall complex. Due to it's location near Manila's tourist attractions, Ermita has many budget guesthouses. These guesthouses are cheap, but they are not nice. They are small, old, and dirty. If you ha...

Hotel is located in the heart of Ermita, which has a lot of history that is definitely work looking at and the area ( Fort Santiago, Rizal Park, Ocean world, Robinson's shopping centre, US Embassy, Manila Bay, and Malate Church, just to name a few that are all within walking distance ) many many years ago was once was home to Manila's elite class. Hotel sta...

Agoda flashed a super sale for the deluxe room and I grabbed it for 3 days. My room was large & clean; the bed was comfortable. There were many TV channels. The Swimming Pool was Good. The staff were friendly. I enjoyed my stay; should have booked longer. Thanks, Agoda! It's in a Non-Halal area, so i got Pork & Alcohol easily. It's beside an old walled Catholic Ceme...

The room I booked via Agoda was cheap with breakfast included. The rate was a steal I think for a junior room which is quite big for a solo traveller. 3 persons could still fit in. Just 1 issue with the aircon - it gets noisy all of a sudden (or maybe I was not aware that it was auto-timed or something). Slippers, I think it was just sanitized. But I prefer disposable....

I liked Gran Prix hotel because it is very near the US Embassy. I just had to walk early morning going to the hotel. Another best feature is that it does not flood in the area. When I went to Manila, it was raining pretty hard. My taxi took a wrong turn and we ended up at the Pedro Gila where water was already very high. Walking to Padre Fauna area, where Gran ...

Was in town for medical check-up at US VA. Always stay at Cherry Blossoms due to it's great location. It's literally right outside to Padre Faura entrance of Robinsons Place Manila (Ermita). Close distance to US Embassy and VA, 15-20 mins depending traffic. For the cheap room rates, their facilities are alright. A bit outdated, but provides you the nice essentials for...

We decided to stay at this hotel because of its excellent reviews and its affordable rates. Although the hotel is small just 6 floors, the rooms we stayed in are very spacious. Big king bed, big bathroom, big windows! Although they dont have swimming pool, they have big bath tub. My son didnt want to leave the tub and my mom also enjoyed her beauty dip. The location i...

Despite many strengths and being much newer than its competitors, strange anti-guest policies force me not to recommend the Pearl Manila Hotel. Outside food no longer allowed to be brought into rooms even though the rather limited room service menu is not available after 10PM. Visitors after 10PM must register. A very weird damage deposit policy seems to be sporadic...

I booked for a 6 day stay initially. I was so happy with the hotel I ended up staying an extra week. The room had everything I needed. Fridge, stove/oven, very comfortable bed, on 14th floor so no street noise, A big window that I could open and smell the sea and what a great view down past Makati, to MOA and back towards the city of Manila. My aircon was cold and quie...

For anyone having there doubts about where’s a good hotel you need to look no further I stayed here 4 times n will continue coming to this hotel .For one thing they have a elevator to where others you have to walk up a flight of stairs n he rooms are nice n clean you get free breakfast n let me tell you it’s out of this world great .The staff very friendly n your 2 blo...

We stayed in a very cozy room on the top floor for 12 days and both of us really liked it. The room was very clean and there were no bugs or anything like that. The room wasn't huge, but big enough for us as a couple to enjoy it, having spent the majority of our time within the hotel room. The staff were exceptionally nice and always smiling. The location is great too,...

Location good for me – I like this area – been many times. Took room on 4th floor as was supposed to have a safety box – there was not but too tired to change – they should have safety boxes in more of the rooms anyway The room was spacious room, air-con good – had fridge, bench and sink small table to work on Beds comfy enough, room clean and serviced daily The towel...

You get the most of what you need, i.e. a place to spend a night or 2 in, to attend to business within the vicinity. It's not 5 star amenities but you can't and must not expect that for the small price you pay. If that's what you want book other hotels that are 5 stars, and cost appropriately much more, around the same area. The important thing is to set your expectati...

if want somewhere near the us embassy or immigration, this is one of the best hotels i've stayed its not only the hotel rooms but the staff were so accommodating your needs friendly and as well you can ask simple help from this hotel, not only that me and my hubby were just enjoying it here caused it was just walking distance from robinsons mall and aside from it altho...

Main advantage of the hotel is that it's new with modern design, hence everything works and is clean. I'm not quite sure how will the design suitable for homes sustain in place like this hotel for few years (e.g. shower door leading to the room when sealing around the glass doors wears off or elevated sink with tight spaces around). Yellow and green colors are annoyin...

Second stay at this this hotel. This time I booked a room that supposedly isn’t windowless but what I still got was a windowless room on the fourth floor. The internet at that time was acting up but when it was reported to their staff, they immediately fixed it. Location is within walking distance to Manila Embassy and to Robinsons Manila. There are a lot of 24-hour co...

It is the perfect location for where I needed to be that day. I appreciate the hotel staff and the guard on duty for taking the initiative to let my elderly parents in so they can rest. They don't charge me for the early check in, even though I left by midnight just beacuse I finished my task early. I also get the car park space that I requested. It is a basic and cle...

I decided to book on this hotel because it is one of the hotels near the NHCP Bldg where i attended a 3day seminar and I've read good reviews from guests. Now it's my time to give my review. Well, everything that I've read and expected have been met or even exceeded. Excellent location! Very accessible, about 3-5 mins walk from the NHCP Bldg. Near to Catholic Church, 7...

This is a great hotel located on the busy corner of Mabini and Padre Faura, very close to the northern end of Robinson Mall. There are lots of restaurants, bars, ATMs, and everything else a traveller needs. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Breakfast is different each day, and always delicious. The staff is very attentive. We're staying here again.

We enjoyed the simplicity of this hotel. I think they got it right on this one. Very modern approach to this hotel setup. Customer oriented and very comfortable. Friendly, plasma, wifi cafe,ac,cr very good, best accomodation I find in a long time for the cost....somebody got it right this time. I give a 10+ on this one

I had the loveliest time at Miramar Hotel! Stayed for two nights, just for an event in the adjacent Hotel. Miramar is quite beautiful, a true art deco place. Carpeted stairs, ornate decor, and an airy open interior. I was given a corner room on the 4th floor. (I booked the most basic one, so if that's it then wow, and if I was upgraded, then awesome!) I had SO MUCH ...

Moved to this hotel from another in the same neighborhood because I needed to cut my expenses. BP was less than half the price of the first hotel for essentially the same level of accommodations. The "single deluxe" is not what Americans would consider "deluxe." Although the room was spacious, the furnishings were minimal in the extreme--a "single" bed (not a twin) abo...

M Hotel Manila is just a stone's throw away from the U.S. Embassy, Manila (5-minute walk) which was very convenient for us. Just beside it are Jollibee, Wendy's and 7-11 to satisfy our fast food cravings at ungodly hours. A 30-minute cab ride to the airport (depending on traffic), 20-minute cab ride to Mall of Asia, 10-minute walk to Robinson's Place -- great location!...

The hotel staff was very friendly and professional during my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The house keeping staff was very friendly and professional. I had a couple of issues with the room and when i brought them to the hotel staff they corrected them right away. I brought a camera with me and the hotel loaned me a transformer for the room so i could...
