Will stay again there if I would go back to GDL.

The modern interiors are very tasteful, and everything seems new. The entire property was spotless clean. I liked my standard room very much, primarily because it was quite spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and storage areas (closet and drawers) were more than adequate. I enjoyed the large flat-screen TV with international programming. The bathroom and its amenities were well designed and feature an ecological shower. All staff members were efficient and professional. I also booked with a very competitive rate. For sure, I will look at this property again for future trips to Guadalajara!

This hotel looks very good and is new and modern in design. However the modern design makes it seem a bit cold and stark. The small three storey atrium design makes sound from everywhere carry and therefore the rooms are a bit noisy. However the modern design makes it seem a bit cold and stark. The small three storey atrium design makes sound from everywhere carry and therefore the rooms are a bit noisy. Especially on the ground floor where I could hear everyone in reception whilst in my room. The room is nice, the beds comfortable, there is a safe but no tea or coffee making facilities. The modern bathroom has a nice walk in shower but with a fixed shower head and the sink is a very shallow one. To flush the toilet it is necessary to have the toilet seat down because the handle is behind and under the toilet shelf. There is a long shelf work area along on the wall with a large TV and that is good but the electrical sockets are down below the shelf and would be better if above it. Breakfast was basically bread, cold meat, cheese and cereal. Overall I am unsure whether or not I would use this hotel again because of the noise factor.

The hotel layout is lovely, with the indoor patio. It gets noisy though being in the center, and next to a church that calls to mass with loud bells at early hours. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city. I found it quite aesthetically appealing. The old fashioned lift is very slow but I think this was more than offset by its quaint charm, so keeping it is probably a wise choice--it's not like the building is that tall anyway. A band that was advertised as playing in the lobby from 9 to 10.30 P.M. kept going until midnight. Keep this in mind if you need to wake up early. My room was missing one of the shutters from the window but was otherwise in good shape, albeit rather plain compared to the common areas.
