"Visiting Shuzenji is always a pleasure. This was my first time staying at this hotel, though I have been to others in town. It was a pleasant place to be. Slightly away from the core, it was a very short walk along the river into town. The more unusual aspect of this was that you had to book your time into the hotsprings. This meant that you had a private bath time in the outdoor hotsprings. At the end of the day, this was a real luxury. (I didn't visit the Caves or the Public Baths, but those were also an option) "
