The convenience of transportation and daily life is very high. It is located 600 meters away from the train station, and there are many shops, restaurants, supermarkets, parks, and bus stops nearby. The room is a traditional Japanese-style room, very comfortable, clean, and with beautiful scenery. The bathhouse has both private and public options, and I used the public bath for three days, which was very clean and well-maintained. The facilities were almost brand new and very convenient and comfortable to use. The kitchen has all the tools you can think of and more, and you can cook anything you can cook at home (there are also many seasonings available). The lounge area is very spacious with many seats. Most of the guests are independent travelers from various countries. We often chat and drink together in the lounge at night, which is a very interesting experience. In addition, the staff at the front desk speak excellent English, so there is no need to worry about communication. The check-out time is very flexible, and there are many types of rooms suitable for solo backpackers or family travel. Because it is a historic residence, the sound insulation is not very good, but it did not have a significant impact (I did not hear much noise from other rooms during my three-day stay). Some facilities need to be cleaned daily, but it does not affect the living experience. Overall, it is a place with a very high cost-performance ratio and a great living experience. I will definitely book it again when I travel to the Izu Peninsula next time!

The building itself is a historic structure, and when using luggage, it is necessary to use a trolley as it cannot be dragged on the ground. This should be noted. The staff are highly professional and have excellent English language skills, so communication is not a problem. The accommodation provides a public bath and two private baths, which is very thoughtful and highly recommended!

You don't get many opportunities to stay in a century-old traditional wooden ryokan building. The interior is wonderfully atmospheric, immaculately clean and filled with the fragrance of wood, the flowing hot springs are piping warm, and even if you got a room with "no view" (which means you look out over the street instead of the more scenic river), you can still enjoy the view of the river from the common lounge area over a nice cup of tea.

My husband and I had been burnt out from work for years and we were looking for a place to just chill for a few days. K's House was just the right place for us. The inside of the Ryokan was beautiful. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff can speak English and were very helpful. The view from the window was relaxing. The lounge was cozy and my husband and I enjoyed complementary drinks there. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and the nearby restaurants and cafes were all delicious. This is my first time booking a room with shared bathroom and I think it is slightly inconvenient. During the night I felt a little self conscious using the bathroom in my PJ because I feel like I will run into other guests. The paper towels in our shared bathroom were not refilled until our third night. Perhaps next time I will consider booking a room with private bathroom. Some things to note for first-time visitors though. Remember to bring a tooth brush and tooth paste as it is not included. Overall, it was a relaxing experience and I would certainly try other K's house locations.

There is an incredibly beautiful Onsen. I was the only person in the Onsen when I went, crazy to see it so quiet for how nice it is. Great location, easy walking to the beach or to shops or restaurants. Whatever you want is nearby. In the dorm you have to make your own futon, but that's not a big deal. It was comfortable and quiet and I got a good night's sleep. Would stay here again!
