“Centrally located, well preserved traditional style hotel ”

Located 3-4 minutes from Ito station with lots of great food options and super markets within walking range. Room was clean and comfortable, and the sea view upgrade was well worth the price. Staff tops up green tea each day so a highlight was sitting in front of the windows enjoying the view while sipping tea and eating tea snacks. Staff are friendly and helpful with a wide selection of fresh Yukatas for all heights. Onsens are a bit small with the taps being a little old but that doesn’t matter too much. Sound proofing between rooms are good but floors are thin so hard thumps can be heard if upstairs neighbors are not careful. Also, the lack of light blocking curtains mean it can get a little bright in the morning. That said, all that does not detract from the fact that for the price this place is a steal. Highly recommended.

Low Floor Japanese Style Room without Bathroom and Toilet
Stayed 1 night in May 2025

    “It was an enjoyable trip.”

Since I planned it just before the Golden Week, it was the last available room, so there was no bathroom in the room. There is a toilet next door, but it is a Japanese-style toilet, which the innkeeper did not recommend, so we were advised to use the shared toilet downstairs. However, the room was spacious, and it was a family trip with four adults, so we were able to use the room comfortably and it was clean. The hot spring is cleaned and changed overnight, but we were out too late to use it at that time, so we used it in the morning. We could privately use the sixth-floor observatory bath with a nice location, and the water temperature was comfortable. The bath was also clean, and we enjoyed it leisurely. The staff's response was also concise and easy to understand, which was very appealing. I would like to stay here again. If I may be greedy, if the Japanese-style toilet could be renovated to a Western-style toilet, it would eliminate the need to go downstairs, so I hope that can be planned. As we get older, it becomes more important to be nearby, haha. Thank you very much.

Good location and has nice staff. We spent a night at the beginning of November so the Sun is set quite fast but the view was still so spectacular. And the onsen there was also clean with choices of rooms. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend time in Ito.

“The private bath was the best! The dining place in front of the station was delicious too!”

The accommodation fee is separate, but there is a private open-air bath on the rooftop of the annex and a covered open-air bath on the third floor of the main building, where we were able to relax and bathe without worrying about being seen while enjoying the stunning views of the vast ocean as a couple. Reservations are required, but after checking in, you can confirm availability from your room by calling the front desk, and it's accessible if there’s an opening. The meal spot in front of the station that the front desk recommended was also delicious, and we enjoyed fresh local seafood dishes. Additionally, after returning home, I realized I had left something in my room and called; they promptly sent it back to me via cash on delivery, which was very helpful. Honestly, the building has a somewhat old feel, but it was well-cleaned and did not smell musty, making it comfortable. I would definitely like to stay again.
