A beautiful big hotel. Dated and needs a lot of upkeep but it is fabulous. Full of grandure and of it's time. Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast girls very attentive and smiley. Room cleaned everyday. Rooms are big and spacious, Aircon good, balcony with views to mountains and sea. The pool was lovely but needed cleaning, lots of debris on the bottom. Right on the beach. Would definitely stay here again but need a scooter or car to get about. Only one restaurant attached to the hotel.

Starting from the outside, the hotel may seem a bit old, but the inside of the room is very clean and comfortable. The room is clean, the white towels are clean (some hotels I've encountered have had old towels that I didn't want to use 😅), there are small towels provided for drying the face and hair, and two more small towels near the sink. What impressed me the most was that everything was clean, even the bath mat. I liked the sofa in the room; it was nice and soft. The staff were always cheerful and provided good service. The breakfast might have been a bit limited (I saw reviews that mentioned it would be more abundant), but it could have been due to fewer guests on that day. Overall, it’s good, I recommend it. We only talked about it later when we got to the third floor and saw staff holding sacred water for a local monk performing rituals. They were sprinkling holy water in front of the hotel rooms, which caught me off guard a bit. When we got downstairs, we saw offerings placed at the spirit house in front of the hotel. I thought, "Oh, it must be a merit-making ceremony for blessings." It just happened to coincide with the time of our stay 😅😅😅. This is just sharing my experience. Overall, the hotel is a nice place to stay.
