BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS”
I have been traveling to Phnom Penh for over 15 years and will without a doubt, recommend this hotel to all my friends that are visiting Phnom Penh. The hotel staff were so polite and helpful... this includes the day, night and morning personel. I was so impressed with how professional they were. KEY ITEM especially for Phnom Penh..... there were NO INSECTS!!! Their buffet breakfast had everything you needed... my cheese omelet was too good to be true. Another surprise was that the hotel had a never ending supply of HOT water with a great rain-head shower. Finally the bed was the most comfortable of any hotel in Phnom Penh. I am looking forward to my next stay which will definitely be for more than a few days with this amount of comfort!!! Thank you for making my stay so stress free and enjoyable.

A Charming, Old World Atmosphere”
This is a charming hotel that offers very good value for the money. The bed was very comfortable, the water for showering was hot with good pressure, the air conditioning worked very well, the food in the restaurant (both at the buffet breakfast and from the menu at lunch or dinner) was excellent. The staff were helpful and attentive. I would be very glad to stay at the Le Grand Palais Boutique Hotel again, and again, and again. We were very well pleased, indeed.

Great staff and location”
A quaint hotel located on the fringe of the entertainment zone in Phnom Penh on 130 Street. Just a short walk to everything or a $1 tuk tuk ride to the River, bars, market etc. The room was large sized with a large tub and a comfortable bed. The staff were absolutely fantastic, efficient and polite. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a wide choice of foods. All in all a great experience.

A fantastic baroque French style hotel with spacious rooms. The staff is excellent. Check in & out fast & easy. Beds are great. Breakfast has a decent choice but I can't say the food is really good. However, the rooftop bar & cafe is outstanding. They have a happy hour 4-7. 15% discount for people staying with them. The food was really good which is surprising breakfast isn't as enticing. The pool is small & green. Is that due to no chlorine? It seemed clean but I'd be more comfortable with blue water. Still it's refreshing after all day tours & the depressing Killing Fields! The staff in the bar, especially Visal (sp?) & Delat get special kudos from us. I was sick the last night & stayed in the room. It was Valentine's Day & sent a rose to the room with my husband from them ❤. Super sweet. I would stay here in a heartbeat if we came back. I rely on reviews & previous reviews didn't disappoint us.

Fantastic place. I've stayed here many times. The latest while stranded in Phnom Penh trying to get home to Australia during C-19 emergency. General Manager Mr Phav (Nikki) and entire staff were fantastic and helped me so much at a very stressful time. This hotel was once a grand old picture palace called The Hawaii and maintains all the charm and historical detail of pre-1975 Phnom Penh. When you can travel to Phnom Penh once again, check it out.

I only spent 1 night there to catch up my friends. The decoration is very special, it's a different experience. My friends lived 2 night and they think the location is good. And they found good juice booth nearby. Pure Avocado(no water, no ice) smooth for only 2 dollars! It was a lady taking care for the booth. Good luck!

Good Stay”
I booked from Agoda knowing that this hotel is an old hotel and cheap so I didn't have much expectation. But I am satisfied throughout my stay because of the unique feeling, the cleanliness and the food there. Breakfast was great. I am happy that the hotel serve halal food because I am a Muslim and I can enjoy every food in the hotel. The staff was attentive and friendly. The bathroom was great. I have no complaint whatsoever. Would love to stay there again.

Great Boutique Hotel in Phnom Penh”
Beautiful Colonial French style hotel. I was upgraded and had a great spacious room. Beautiful dining space, and staff was very friendly and accomodating. Only down side was the size of the swimming pool, don't expect to do laps in the swimmingf pool, it is way too small for that. There is currently (May 2019) construction near the hotel and there is noise pollution in the pool and bar area on the rooftop. The construction noise will cease eventually. I definitively recommend this hotel.

Great location”
Boutique hotel with unique architecture.Staff was a plus side...very friendly and helpful especially the young concierge.Breakfast was adequate and location was excellent...within short walking distance to Central Market,export outlets and many eateries. Hotel helped call a taxi to airport at USD14. Only negative thing is the bathroom ..things don't seem to be positioned at the correct place.Small matter considering the other plus points.
