I can see what they went with the "View Hotel", it really is quite a view. A beautiful hotel that's unpretentious yet elegantly designed with some sustainable design features. The premises are very well groomed, I had a good feeling just driving into the hotel on our first day. Beautiful surrounding environment with flowering trees everywhere. You smell jasmine, eucalyptus and who knows what else all over the place. The lobby has an open-air styling and beautiful mini plants and waterfalls and such. We had the deluxe room and it was huge with a stunning view. Very quiet and removed on the top of a hill, away from any kind of noise especially since the night market and restaurant area is less than 10 minutes away by shuttle. Excellent shower, comfy bed and a huge sofa (where my son slept, it had a full (single?) sized mattress that was converted to a bed. Another mini window-bed where we did some reading and gazing out of the window. Free drinking water and a nice little local Nespresso-style coffee machine. Free shuttle service to the main area downtown. Amazing swimming pool that has 360 views of the mountains and the little huts and houses leading down to the town area. The food at the pool is good for a lazy day. Good burgers and small selection of local eats.The breakfast is excellent. Egg station, crispy bacon, Laotian noodle soup, baguette, toast, and croissants. What shines the most are the wonderful staff, they went out of their way to provide us with everything we needed, made itinerary suggestions, arranged for vehicle rentals.. everything. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They helped me look for my son's ball that was lost in the bushes! We modified our dates due to a cancelled flight with absolutely no issues the hours before our original check-in date. I think they can work on the gym a little bit. Equipment is good enough, but the dumbbells are ancient, and it wouldn't hurt to add a pull-up bar in there. Also, I'm a coffee snob, so the breakfast coffee was not the most flavorful and needs some more body. So glad we stayed at the View, we might go back there for a long weekend. Having lived in the region for years now, this experience definitely fit the standard of what I consider to be excellent.
The most important thing I considered on my trip was the hotel, and it was really great. I prioritized searching for hotels with a swimming pool, and it was even better than what I found in my search. The hotel was also located at a high place, and the pool was on the rooftop. I could see all of Luang Prabang, so when I didn't go out into the city, I enjoyed swimming or relaxing comfortably in the hotel. The staff were also kind, and I was even more grateful as they upgraded my room. The breakfast was delicious, especially the rice noodles! I still want to eat them, and the coconut dessert was also tasty. I want to buy coconut drinks in Korea too. However, I was disappointed that the air conditioner was noisy. Also, there was a problem with the internet, and I couldn't call the hotel, which made taking the shuttle a bit difficult, but they provided an alternative solution, so it wasn't a problem. We rented a motorcycle to explore the city and tourist attractions, and we parked the motorcycle in the hotel parking lot, which allowed us to travel more freely. It was a satisfying accommodation.
Advantages: 1. The staff are friendly and provide good service. They also speak English well (which I think is a huge advantage in Luang Prabang). 2. The view is incredibly beautiful (if I exaggerate a bit, I think it's about the height of Phu Si mountain; it’s not called a view hotel for nothing). 3. The accommodation is modern (the design is clean). 4. The breakfast is delicious (especially the pho, which was very tasty). 5. There is free transportation provided to the city every hour, and also to the train station and airport (very kind). Disadvantages: 1. The structure of the accommodation doesn't allow for good ventilation, so the room can feel a bit humid. 2. The transportation is not good (it is far from the city, but I think this can be offset by the advantages mentioned before). 3. The swimming pool is very beautiful, but you feel like you're getting direct sunlight while swimming, almost like receiving light from the highest point.
Lovely staff, very good breakfast buffet, an amazingly large pool on the top with ultimate view of LPB. Rooms are clean and neat, hotel area is really spacious, green and we enjoyed the shuttle bus to town frequently. Recommended!

“Great location offering stunning view of Chao Phraya River”
We have been to this hotel on quite a few occasions. The hotel is in a great location along the Chao Phraya River and provides stunning views, especially if you are on the higher floors, with the added bonus of Asia Atique being well within walking distance. The rooms range in size, and we have stayed in all classes except the president suite and two-bedroom suite, it depends on your budget. On this occasion, we stayed in a twin-room grand deluxe with a partial river view, which was good value for your money. The room was spotlessly clean; the beds were very comfortable, excellent shower pressure in the bathroom, good toiletries and good quality towels. Our only gripe was that it states they are smart tv, but they are not, as you cannot link them to anything otherwise. The staff are friendly and very accommodating and go the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one. The Swimming pool is large and welcoming and a good place to relax with a bit of shade. Breakfast has certainly improved, there has always been a good variety however on previous occasions the food tended to be lukewarm, now it's hot which just heightens the standards. I do recommend adding breakfast to your booking as it is a great start to the day when exploring Bangkok. Another bonus is the launch that takes you to Sathon Pier, where you can get tourist boats to different parts of Bangkok; they also provide tours which are reasonably priced, which I have used, especially the longtail boat, which is excellent fun. The bar area needs to be made more inviting, it really does not encourage you to spend any time there. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok
