Overall: great experience, recommend. I got basement room, It’s clean and not so small, enough space to live. The toilet is great except the tissue paper holder: it’s a sharp metal bar sticking out from the wall and I got small wound from it. Receptionists are great and friendly. I got shower soap only first 3 days and after that no more soap, only shampoo. We had asked for it and receptionist gave us shampoo instead. I’m not sure if there was any problem with the hotel housekeeper. It’s 5-10 minutes walk from the tube(underground) and overground station. There is a Tesco express in front of the hotel, so convenient. Wifi is great if you use iPhone because there was an issue with Android phone to connect and the staffs can’t fix it and they told me there were some issues with Android phones before us.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were quite pleased with the hotel. The biggest minus point was the smell in the hallway and room, smelling like an old house. Sadly, opening the windows here is not an option because they are locked for safety reasons. Therefore only the AC can be used for a little bit of ventilation. In the bathroom was small areas with mold, nothing unusually large for an old house. The water tab was quite loose and the showering door also felt a little bit old when being moved. In the room was one bigger patch of mold aswell. For the smell we bought a room deodorant at the supermarket nearby which helped when staying inside at night and in the morning. The bedsheets are changed every day however they could be cleaned more thoroughly as we spotted dirty spots from us at day 1 on our day 3 bedsheets. Clean towels are provided every day as well as a water cooker and coffee or tea. Onto the positive notes, the location is amazing. Many connections are in just 5 min walk distance. There are also a supermarket and different stores for essentials in the street. The discounted breakfast at the restaurant next to the hotel was a steal, as hotel visitors safe 15%. For under 10£ you can get the full english or indian breakfast with a tea or coffee which is a perfect start for the day. You could also get a day access to the fitness centre nearby for 4.99£ however because of time we didn't use it. The staff was friendly and check in and out was very easy. Overall a good and solid hotel for traveling on a budget if you don't mind being in an older house.

I’m so happy with the price - location ratio, as lots have commented, we had 2 huge suitcases we had to lug through a maze of stairs and doorways (at least 5 sets) broke my back as my partner can’t lift, room had no windows (a bit scary from a fire safety point of view) we were below ground and apparently below a gym ( as I write I can hear feet pounding on a running machine ) first thing I noticed in the room was hairs on the bed- what’s that about? Like a serial killers calling card lol, I wouldn’t walk on carpet barefoot, no fridge, safe inoperable, shower water scolding or without force ( u to ou either had it hot or if you ou tried to make it cooler the water dribbled ) we asked the cleaner to change our towels as the floor may got soaked by mistake - she threw the clean dry one on top of the old one, literally pushed it aside and left it on the floor ! But you know what, despite this I’d stay again because the location was perfect for us, also the staff were pleasant ( this goes a loooong way in my book) and to be honest I think that If they were more honest with what they offer then there’d be better reviews, certainly from me as I wouldn’t discount putting it on my list of hotels to stay at in London.

The hotel is located at a few meters away from Kilburn Park Underground Station. The surrounding area gets a bit quiet in the evenings. The facilities offered at the hotel are good. The rooms are small and cozy. They are well maintained and clean. The public toilet near the reception however needs to be cleaned more often. We reached a couple of hours before the alloted Check In time. We requested to leave our luggage at their storage area but we were informed that since the luggage area is small, it is already full and we would not be able to store it. The receptionist however asked us to pay an extra amount of GBP 20 for an early check in to leave our luggage in the allotted room although it could have been done without any additional amount. However during check out, the hotel allowed us to store our luggage without charging any amount as we had some places to visit beyond the check out time. The Manager also asked us if we need a room to freshen up after we returned to collect the luggage. There are lot of places to eat around as well as shopping area/general stores including Tesco/Primark very close by to the hotel. There is a restaurant named Chaiwalla which gives you a discount as you are the guest of the hotel. However, the restaurant staff sometimes are not aware that this discount exists and also sometimes they say that on particular items there is no discount. The price offered for the stay is reasonable. Overall a pleasant experience and can recommend this hotel for stay.

“Budget hotel hotter than the sun ☀️”
We booked this hotel very last minute after our air bnb cancelled on our arrival day. We got a good deal for two rooms, especially considering how last minute our booking was. We had read some mixed reviews beforehand, but really weren't left with many options, so went ahead and booked. On arrival, a few people were complaining about errors on their bookings and aircon not working. We got to our rooms, which were the rooms with a window. However, you cannot open the window and the rooms were very very warm. It was not a very warm day either, maybe early 20's. One of our rooms had masking tape around the toilet seat, which was clearly very dirty. We complained about this and one of us were moved to what appeared to be a deluxe room. This wasnt amazing either, but it was considerably cooler. We also complained about the heat in our other room, but the hotel staff simply sighed and told to put our keycard into the slot (which isnt obvious)- we did this and the aircon improved slightly, so we left it at that as we had to head out for a concert. When we got back to the room late at night it was very very hot. The bathroom was literally like a sauna, you had to get in and out as quickly as possible. We tried to deal with it, thinking the aircon would cool it again through the night but it did absolutely nothing. It was so hot, I honestly think it could be a health hazard for many people and my partner and I did not sleep well at all and were very dehydrated in the morning. We made the hotel staff aware of this when we checked out and they claimed the aircon maintenance staff were there, but I doubt that given previous reviews raising the issue. They also did not tell us there was any problem with the aircon the day before. If you need a budget hotel in a decent location, it may be worth the risk of booking. But do not expect much and for your own sake please book a deluxe room. Based on our experience, I think all rooms on the third floor have faulty aircon. Until they sort this out, it makes for an uncomfortable and unsafe stay.
