One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in Manila. From the lobby interiors, to the room, and even the staff. All worth it. Very accommodating and customer-centric as they delivered a birthday cake to our room because it was a post-birthday staycation, and the front desk even went up our room on our behalf when we forgot something upon check-out. Housekeeping was also very hospitable. They oblige your amenities request, and anything possible in the room. They’re not stingy in terms of toiletries, and bottled waters inside the room, like other hotels are. They have an iPad in each room where you can request for housekeeping, control the AC, TV and lighting, and even check-out. Talk about fast! Breakfast is a wide spread of international cuisine. One of the best I’ve tasted. The fountain show was amazing. The pool, although not that deep, is very relaxing, with the view of Manila Bay on the horizon. Tip: request for a Manila Bay view room. You can relax in the bubble jet overlooking the bay, and watch the sunset without going out of your room. Be sure to ready your cameras!

Near new hotel and room immaculately clean. We had Deluxe Bay view room with stunning view of Manila Bay, Ferris wheel and MOA. Perfect location as short walk to everything including MOA, Ocean walk with plenty of fun rides for the kids. Mall of Asia shops so big easy to get lost. Swimming pool was also stunning and immaculately clean. Not cheap but worth the money as 5 star quality and perfect location. We did not include breakfast in our package but had breakfast delivered to room. Breakfast was fantastic.

Overall we had a great stay at the Hyatt City of Dreams. There was a minor issue with our room and the Assistant Manager at the Front office: NELYSSA BERNARDO was exceptional at handling our concerns and taking care of the situation. The customer service was well deserving of 5 stars. and we really appreciated all her hard work. The rooms are new, modern and very spacious and all the different Food at the Restaurant is also very good. We have been to the philippines many times and we will for sure stay here again next time we are in Manila. With amazing food, new rooms and the best customer service experience the Hyatt city of Dreams is possibly the best Hotel in Manila at the moment. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED :)

We really enjoyed our stay since they have everything we liked for a 5-star hotel + Japanese/Zen ambiance. Room is big--- overlooking Manila Bay, super tidy sheets, comfort room, closet (with complete ironing set) room accessories are top of the line( LED and docking station), lighting are great too! Hotel amenities like the Casino access, outdoor pool, the dining set up is ZEN style with rushing waters on the path way looks very elegant, landscaping is picturesque too as well as the hotel indoor design. It was quiet on the hotel and elevator lobby (you can hear a background music like you're in Japan). And finally, the food we ordered to our room (Ramen, Katsu, etc) went straight from their great Chefs are soooooooooooo good! --- a little bit pricey but tasted authentic! We will definitely be back! Keep it up!

We absolutely love Golden Phoenix hotel. Great location in walking distance to SM Mall of Asia as well as the Manila Bay waterfront with all the carnival type rides. Breakfast is great and a good selection of food to choose from. Also their cafe on the second floor has very good coffee, beverages and pastries/cakes and at a reasonable price. I love how nice the staff are and how helpful everyone is to you and it makes you feel that you are special

i thoroughly enjoyed my 7 night stay at the sofitel philippine plaza manila hotel. i have traveled all over europe from london to the netherlands, germany, lithuania, thailand and finally manila and i have to say this is the most luxurious hotel i have visited during my month long journey. although a little pricier than some of the other hotels in the area it is still a great bargain as i booked through agoda.com. i had a room with both a view of manila bay and the city skyline as well as a perfect view of the incredible swimming pool. it was incredible and i just have to say the food is delicious and affordable for the quality and presentation. i did not eat in the restaurants but constantly ordered room service and it was amazing. you have to try to mango cheesecake and the creme brulee...you will thank me later...i promise. the staff is great and always check on you to make sure all your needs are met. this place was wonderful and if my travels ever bring me back to manila then this is definitely where i will be staying! i have only one bad thing to say and it is minor but could be a major factor some...you have to pay $7.00 per day usd for internet access in a day where even mcdonalds offers free hi speed internet access this is a very poor decision on the part of the hotel. as much as i enjoyed the hotel i have to admit that if i had known this before booking i would not have made the reservation. this is just my personal opinion but to the management i would reconsider your internet policy especially for a hotel in manila with such a higher price point. so that being said i just want to make sure travelers that are tied to their tablets and notebooks take this into consideration. they do i believe offer free wi fi in the lobby area but who wants to trek down to the lobby when you should be able to lounge in the room pajama style with a nice cup of coffee while catching up on the days business at hand.

I booked a 10th Floor Grand Bayview Corner Suite for one night at Solaire. The staff are highly trained Filipinos who are very polite, accommodating, energetic, sharp and they seem to love their jobs. Excellent Management. The room was very spacious, with two (2) large Flat Screen TVs, Long L-Shaped Leather Sofa, Las Vegas Style Bar, King Size Bed, Digital Safe, Writing Desk, SPA-like bathroom with tub and a mesmerizing view of The Manila Bay. I strongly believe that Solaire has got the best views of the Manila Bay even in their Restaurants. They Have the best property location in the developing Entertainment City Manila. They offer 24-Hour Energetic Room Service. You would not be shy to call at 3am. The food and cocktails were really great and World-Class. The pool bar area was just wonderful and very relaxing as they also play modern - classic - chill-out / lounge music. Although I used to be a self-proclaimed professional poker player, I never sat at the tables nor played any Casino games available in the hotel during our stay. But definitely, Solaire is a haven for finesse gamblers. Maybe next time I'll try for old times' sake. Solaire will make you feel like a High Roller even if you are not a gambler. They have a newly opened Private Karaoke Villas which are exclusive for Members Only. The membership is a deposit of Php. 1,000,000 with a consumable bonus reward of Php. 200,000. However, they still entertain Non-Members with a Villa Rate of Php. 30,000 Consumable for 4 Hours Karaoke stay. Because of this, we just decided to sing in our bathroom. They also offer Massage Services for USD 100 for 90 Minutes. Breakfast at Fresh was indeed fresh and yes, refreshing. We were very lucky to have been given a 4PM check-out time which gave us a chance to swim one last time after brunch and enjoy our suite longer. It was a wonderful stay at Solaire and we hope to do it again soon. They will make you feel like A Million Bucks. Cheers to Don Enrique.

I stayed here on my last 3 nights of my 18 day trip to the Philippines. Although I've been to Manila a couple times in the past, this was the first time staying at this hotel. I've seen this hotel on my previous travels here and wanted to stay here, so this time I got to try it. Although reviews may vary, I found this hotel quite good, and much better than the other Hotels in Manila of it's class. Check-in and Check-out was fast, the Staff were friendly and quick, the hotel was clean, room was clean and roomy and I had no problems whatsoever. Besides being close to the SM Mall, what I found I liked about this hotel was the fact that it was like a minute walk away from Manila's finest Buffets like "Buffet 101" and "Banzai". If you walk further along the Manila bay to the opposite side, you can dine at another popular buffet called "Vikings" I would definitely recommend this hotel and I'll be sure to stay here on my next visit.

A very nice, bordering on elegant hotel in Manila Bay. The concierge features friendly staff and amenities that are difficult to find at this price. Our room had a comfortable queen-size bed, a refrigerator and a kitchen. The grounds were very neat and the swimming pool made a great background for family pictures. The hotel provided some drinking water and glasses for our use. A big walk-in closet made storing our luggage easy. When we visit Manila again, we'll stay at the Concierge.

We booked here for a Deluxe Room with a Balcony and a Queen Bed. Upon check in, the girl in the front desk told us that the room we booked for was "DELUXE A" and it doesn't have a Balcony. We were very tired that day. And just to save us for an argument we settled for the room. Then we went upstairs and entered the room, you could definitely smell cigarette smoke. Then to my surprise, we have a Twin Bed. I was not in the mood for an argument. So yeah, we settled with a Deluxe Room with a twin Bed without the Balcony. I don't know who screwed up. I just checked now, their "DELUXE B" is the one with the TWIN Bed, so how come the lady gave us a "DELUXE A" with a twin bed? But someone should get it fixed to avoid further frustrations. Recommend? Yep! Will definitely book again, after booking, double check your booking with the hotel itself.

This is my 5th stay at the Homebound at Sea Residences, every time i stay i get the same high level of service. Gio and Gary are great people to deal with and very accommodating during my stay. Check in and out was done very efficiently and Gary is very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay near the MOA and dont want to spend a lot of money. The room we had was facing manila bay and seeing the fireworks at night was nice from the patio.

this hotel is right on the water, manila bay. all other hotels in the area are across a big 6 lane street. new hotel, good security, restaurants were good also plus manila ocean park is beside the hotel if you are interested in going. i got a free upgrade from a regular bay view room for a deluxe bay view room, so i wound up staying about 6 nights total. so i loved the hotel to be honest. my upgraded room had a bathroom that was unbelievable and with a hot tub spa. i used it twice there, very nice. plus with the curtains open you can enjoy the bed and look out over manila bay, all at the same time. what more can i say, great, great, great. i will be staying at the h2o again next year when i return to manila. i have stayed at other 5 star hotels in manila before but i now think this one is the best now.

I opted to book this hotel for my partner’s birthday because of good reviews. It did not disappoint! The room (Junior Suite) was situated in the corner of the building. We had the view of Manila Bay on one side and the Rizal Park and Quirino Grandstand on the other. We caught a glimpse of the fountain show and fireworks at the Manila Ocean Park and the fireworks at MOA. It was just awesome! Thr room itself was just elegant consistent with the classy ambiance of the whole building which is by the way the former Army Navy Club! Staff were very accomodating and the breakfast was good enough to fill me up until lunch time. I was looking for a filipino themed breakfast like the “silogs”, but I got more of Chinese food, which is good anyway. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for couples, families and even solo travelers.

My staff and I stay at the Microtel certain times of the year- usually Jan and March our events at the Arena. It is the most convenient hotel in terms of price vs. location. Tryp was a refreshing alternative to Microtel. A modern and hip upgrade with the same high quality service Ive come to expect from the Wyndham group. Although I barely stayed in the hotel to enjoy the amenities (the 2nd floor bar has great views of Manila Bay), I appreciated the large room and beds. The parking areas and some hotel interiors are still under construction, though not enough to cause inconveniences. I will definitely consider this hotel next time around. Good Job!

The apartment itself was perfect. A bit on the small side but it had everything we needed. The staff are friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the area is being heavily developed so there are construction sites all over. 6am the machines are churning at the latest... I got conned in Manila airport by the taxi service and was charged double the rate for the 10 minute ride to the apartment. Normal price is around PHP700 one-way. Walking around the area and down to SM Mall I found the police officers quite unfriendly when asking for directions - very dismissive. The people handling my booking on-site however were very friendly and helpful. Returning to the airport I found a super taxi driver who agreed to a fixed price of PHP600 so it pays to "shop around"

Booked this condotel for several days in anticipation of the transportation issues that will be brought by the 2015 APEC Summit in Manila. Location was excellent, as it was walking distance from Mall of Asia and my office. There were also several food establishments and convenience stores on the ground floor. The unit itself is self sufficient for an extended stay as it has a functional kitchen with utensils. The internet was also ok but don't expect stellar speeds. There is also a working washing machine but laundry services are available from nearby commercial shops. Note that this is not a hotel but more of like a serviced apartment. There is no daily housekeeping done but can be requested for an additional fee. Overall, had an excellent stay here and will definitely book again if the circumstances call for it. Booked the place for an overnight stay last January 1 -2, 2017. Highlights: Unit Owner was responsive in sms/calls regarding the booking. Unit was clean and smells good upon arrival. I like that it has a balcony overlooking the Pool Area. Equipped with Stove, Refrigerator, Kitchen wares and utensil. Cable TV, and Wi-Fi is readily available inside the unit. It has one bedroom and a sofa bed. We’re 4 adults with 1 kid and all of us were able to sleep comfortably inside the unit. Ceiling fan and Air-conditioning works perfectly fine. Water supply was great. Location was excellent for us coming from Cavite. Low lights: If you have a car, Shell Residences has no available parking slots for guests. You will be directed to a nearby pay parking for an overnight slot. I think a Floor Mat/ Rubber Floor Mat should be available around Kitchen Area and inside the Bathroom. In the Balcony, it would be very kind if a single/double pole clothes rack for guests who wants to hang their clothes and towels to dry after swimming. I am also waiting to get my sister’s Flash Drive back as it was left connected in the TV. No updates yet from the unit owner if they were able to retrieve it. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I enjoyed every bit of it as I was spending it with my family. I am definitely thinking of booking again but this time it will be with friends. Thanks and more power!

Good: Accomodating staffs (Hi ate Irish and the guy on the lobby and also to the owner of the hotel thru text hehe) I will recommend ate Irish as your hotel assistant because she’s willing to answer your questions and she’s just one call away if you need her. Guys, please do not misunderstood her diction and voice modulation t’was normal to her. 😊😉 Clean room. Tho I saw small cockroaches in the room, still I reconsider it because I think that’s normal in every unit. Im used to it, sa bahay nga may mga malilit na ipis eh, mag iinarte pa ba me? HAHAHA Complete appliances from kitchenware to other stuffs. With free 4 sachet of coffee and 1 liter of bottled water With fast internet connection-wifi Clean linens and pillows. With extra bath towels and blankets. Good security Bad: 1. They gave us different room. :( I booked the pool view 2 or 3 months ago and paid the hotel , a month before we check in. They gave us the city view, and didnt appreciated the view that much because of the construction site near the hotel. I asked ate Irish about it and she stated that the client staying on our supposed to be room extended his/her stay. 😔 2. Yung ibang personnel sa hotel especially yung asa entrance, di manlang kami binabati or inaapproach pero pag foreigner super approach sila at todo offer ng help. HAHAHA. Dapat walang discrimination kasi guest din naman kami. :) Yung ibang hotel na napag stay-an namin before puro greetings sila like, “Good morning/afternoon/evening” “Maam do you need help?”, “Maam mukhang may pupuntahan po kayo ah? May sasakyan na po ba kayo?” SUGGESTIONS: Please provide atleast one broom per room. Gustong gusto namin magwalis sa loob ng unit. Nakakahiya naman na tatawag ka pa sa baba or sa assistant mo para lang magpawalis ng kalat tho trabaho nila yun pero nakakahiya pa din. Hehe Please, provide larger trashcan in the unit. Mas malaki pa trashcan sa cr kesa sa salas. Hahaha. Please use door mat or basahan sa sahig, ang andoon sa sahig as basahan

I booked the place because I wanted a place with a swimming pool. The view of the pool from the balcony is great. Choosing a room with a balcony gave us a place to dry the clothes after swimming. There are 3 (yes 3!) adult pools but they are 4ft deep only. They were clean and warm during the night. I think they got warm from the afternoon sun because if you swim early in the morning the water is cold. Anyway, the room was clean, it got everything we need. Even wifi. The only thing was that the TV was in the "living room" and not in the bedroom. The sofa bed was a little worn and uneven. You can feel the springs but still if you're not going to sleep on it and just use it to watch tv it's fine. You do need an extra blanket because they only provide one blanket which is not really enough for 2 people. Split-type aircon was cold. It started to drip a little the next morning though. Overall it was a great stay and will do it again.

sea residence is good when it comes to amenities, cleanliness and very friendly staff of the condominium. downside is the lessor / or owner and the agent. the owner did not even bother to greet us even though she was introduced to us by the agent not even a smile (as far as i remember)... during signing of some papers at the lobby, the agent even ask us "bayad na naman kayo sa agoda di ba?" no blankets, we need to call the agent (not responding thru text messages) just to inform them that there are no blankets. towels, we're hang inside the cabinet that looks like it was already used and not changed.. do i have to mention here that the towel they bring us we're brought by a 6 0r 7 year old girl??? best part of our stay... check-out day, at exactly 12:00pm one lady knock thru the door, telling us that "it's time to vacate the unit because somebody will check-in..." again, no greetings! not even a single smile!!! then i told her, we're already fixing our things and in 5 minutes we will be out, she told us "ok i'll just wait for you in the lobby" when we go down in the lobby, we cannot find her! cellphone of the agent is off!!! we are very, very disappointed with the owner and agent of this unit.
