Access is via a 55-minute wheel-based flight from the capital, Malé, to Kooddoo Airport – priced at USD 500, per person roundtrip. Guests can also reach the island through a private seaplane transfer, priced at USD 19,000 per way. Our staff will be waiting with a warm welcome at Kooddoo Airport to bring guests by buggy to Mercure Maldives Kooddoo.
Mercure welcomers will meet guests at Velana International Airport in Malé, escort them to the executive lounge and take care of check-in for the domestic flight. Upon arrival at the Kooddoo Island airport, guests are further welcomed by our Front Office team who also takes care of the luggage, help with all the check-in formalities and escort the guests to their beautiful villas.

This place really is paradise! It’s little tricky to get to as it’s an additional 1 hour flight from Malé but the resort is only about 50 meters from the airport in Kooddoo. The over water villas are a must (no need to pay extra for the sunset Villa). Incredible views of white sand, crystal clear waters and plenty of marine life around the coral. Just a 5 min swim from our steps and we were at the edge of the reef and swimming with reef sharks and turtles. We did additional activities through the dive center (jet ski, dolphin watching and fishing) good value for money and each activity didn’t disappoint, the leaders are very knowledgeable and we got exactly what we wanted on each trip. The villas are cleaned twice daily and the minibar and snacks are refilled each day. Making it very easy to have drinks by the sea throughout the day. The restaurant, Alita, never failed us, buffets 3 times a day and the food never disappointed, plenty of options as well as free flow drinks of choice and cocktails. The biggest praise I can give to the Mercure, is the staff! A crew welcomed us waving and smiling (a great first impression) everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond to help. Four people in particular, we would like to acknowledge, made our stay so comfortable: Shifa and Jo-Ann from the Alita restaurant. Ksenya the hotel manager and Hammey from the dive center. We stayed for 5 days and we believed it was the perfect amount of time. I have no doubt we will be back in the future.
The resort was really beautiful and their foods were on top. We spent 5days and had a great time there, the staffs were very welcoming and friendly. Recommended for anyone who looks for a peaceful stay in Maldives.

A friendly face greeted us in Male and guided us to the lounge, where we had a delightful time before continuing our journey. Upon landing at Kooddoo Airport, we were welcomed with open arms, setting the perfect tone for our extraordinary stay. Being on an all-inclusive package, we relished every meal. Along with the buffet, the resort thoughtfully prepared delicious Indian cuisine for us, including a mouthwatering biryani that was simply unforgettable. The food was impeccable, and every bite was a delight. Their hospitality extended to capturing beautiful pictures for us in our water villa, ensuring that we had lasting memories of our stay. The entire staff deserves the highest praise. While we choose not to mention individual names, this is only because every single person at Mercure Kooddoo was exceptional. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, from the chefs to the activities coordinators, everyone was at their absolute best to make our stay as memorable as possible.
