This is not a 5 star Hotel by any means. % Star means excellent customer service and wonderful amenities as well as cleanliness and comfort. Not even a bottle of water in the room was free. I felt the room was very "sterile" looking. They could not give me one King bed as I had reserved because they said that did not fall into the category I booked in. My husband and I were put in a room with 2 Queen beds that were full size, not Queen. The worst thing was I could not print my boarding pass at this hotel. They told me their business office was closed and so I would have to e mail them my Airline information and confirmation No. and they would then somehow print it for me and I could pick it up in the morning. They gave me a business card with an e mail address and sent me over to a computer which there was no lighting so I could not see to send them an e mail!! Seriously this is an airport hotel without that service available 24/7 ?? After several trips back an forth to the front desk, I gave up and went to the kiosk in the airport the next morning. Oh and the "free shuttle" to the airport is only available at night otherwise you have to take the airport train which is free but the amount of walking from this hotel to Terminal One is very long and you are carrying your luggage. Better off staying in terminal One hotels(Hilton and Marriott) if flying out of Terminal One. Would not recommend this hotel to elderly, disabled or anyone not prepared to hike with their luggage. Food in the restaurant was not even close to 5 Star quality!

We had an 11 hour transit time and used this hotel as a place to nap, shower, etc, over that time. We got a cab from the "authorized taxi" ticket centre to the airport for about 130 pesos, and he also came back for us for our flight, although the hotel staff would also have arranged that. We enjoyed a meal at a great Brazilian restaurant a few blocks down the street that is a buffet of salad bar with barbecued meats served hot at your table.

It's a 7- minute walk from the airport, so very conveniently located if you need to fly, and don't want the hassle of riding the Metro or using a cab or Uber at odd hours. The neighborhood is kind of grubby, but did not seem terribly unsafe. I walked to the airport in the dark early morning hours, and nobody seemed interested in me. Friendly staff, and there's always food in the kitchen if you get hungry if you don't want to go out.

The room rate is cozy too! and the owner is super nice, helpful and responsible. i got late check -in (1:30am), but the owner, Verenice, still waited for me. she fave me her whatsapp, so that she can offer help immediately anytime. Below accident can show how good the ower is. i forgot to take my room key with me to the bathroom, and got the door lock😭 it was 2:30 am . I found a friendly guest to help me to contact Verenice, she woke up again and found my room key to open the door, at the mid-night!!!! she is so so so nice and helpful!! highly recommend to stay here!

The location is good for access to the airport. If you're using the hotel as a stopover, as we were, just try to avoid "rush hours". The hotel is only about 10 mins. from the airport if your flights don't coincide with high traffic times, but total grid lock can change that significantly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and airport noise is minimal. We had an unfortunate incident occur during the night. Someone on staff, perhaps housekeeping, came to our door and knocked, but we didn't think it was our door. When we didn't respond, this person used their key card and came in!!! We don't speak Spanish, so we don't know what she was saying, but when I answered, "no entiendo", she left. Lesson learned: always put the security latch on your door. Because we were leaving early in the morning and would miss the included breakfast, the restaurant manager very kindly offered us a complimentary light snack when we arrived.

My next flight wasn't until noon the next morning so I required a hotel close to the airport for an overnight stay. Although I normally stay at Hilton hotels, the airport hotel appeared to be way over-priced. I am happy that I went with my choice of the Riazor. The free shuttle to the hotel can be found at Door 4 at Terminal 1. I waited about 15 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and then the trip was about 15-20 minutes to the hotel (due to traffic). I was warmly greeted at the front desk and check-in was fast with no complications. I was asked if I needed a wake-up call and shuttle back to the airport the next day (which I agreed to). I was given a room on the second floor, at the end of the hall, and since it was still relatively early (around 9 pm), I could still hear (slightly) the live music from downstairs at the bar. Other tenants at the hotel would sometimes slam the door to their hotel room, which was a bit disruptive. Luckily, I live in a city so noise is not a bother for me. Other visitors may want to request an upper floor that might be a bit more quiet. The actual room was great for my needs. There is an air conditioner in case you need it and I had a room with a king size bed. My allergies did act up a bit, so I am not sure if that was due to running the AC (and kicking up a lot of dust) or whether my pillows had feathers in them. The bed was more on the firm side (which I prefer) and the bathroom contains a beautiful and clean glass shower stall. I slept great and was rested for my flight the next morning, thank you, staff of Hotel Riazor, for making my stay so pleasant!

After reading several other mixed reviews of this hotel we were unsure of which were correct. Airport pick-up [door 4] was quick. There was a greeter and van came within 15 minutes. We had a lot of luggage as we are traveling with 10 mo old twins. Large, new and clean van. Hotel was further from airport than we thought but not a problem. We were greeted by name at checkin. All staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and modern. At 1st we wanted rooms w 2 beds to push together but design did not allow for this. Switched to king room w/o problem. Reviews of restaurant here I think were unfair. We received good service. Food average. Presentation OK - portions good. Price - a little spendy but this is a hotel in Mexico City. We'd stay there again as r/t airport transit is a key advantage

Fiesta Inn Aerporto CD Mexico City hotel is located about a 10 minute free shuttle bus away from the airport. The airport is not well signposted. Go to Gate 4 in T1 and wait there for the hotel shuttle bus that should arrive every 20 minutes. If you arrive T2 go to the small hotels office near gate 4 and just outside turn right and there is a small unmarked parking area where the hotel shuttle buses come to. The hotel is I believe the best mid range priced hotel near the airport. There is a nice small pool. The staff are pleasant. In room safe and free one packet of brewing coffee. Nice buffet breakfast.
