Stayed for 3 nights, the hotel location is very good, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the ski resort, very convenient! In addition, we felt that the hotel staff provided excellent service! They observe your needs and take action quickly! What impressed us the most was that we brought tea leaves to brew in the room. On the first day, we poured the tea leaves directly into the cup to brew. When we returned to the room in the afternoon of the second day, we found that they had prepared a teapot with a filter for us to use, very thoughtful! During meals, the hotel knew that we were not locals, so they arranged a staff member who speaks English to provide us with service and explain each dish. The quality of the food was also very good! We stayed for 3 nights and had different menus every night! In summary, during our 3 nights at the hotel, we felt very comfortable and at ease. The hot spring area is quite large and very clean! We had a very relaxing vacation.

My wife and I were celebrating our 8th year anniversary, and decided to come to Niseko for skiing having done so in Switzerland in the previous season. This is our first time in Niseko and I chose to stay at Iroha for 5 nights in January 2023. First and foremost, it is conveniently located near the Nook where most people uses it as the ski base for Annapuri, which is 3 to 5 minute walk. I have no problems making this beautiful scenic walk in my ski boots to get my skiing started. Otherwise, you could also wait for the shuttle bus which comes hourly. The surroundings and ambience around Iroha is quite and peaceful, and this is where you would want to be for a quiet retreat if the hustle and bustle of Hirafu is not what you are looking for. While we were here, we were pleasantly surprised by skiers who would usually come after lunch to use the onsen facilities. This is a testament as to how Iroha is well known for their onsen, that some might come from Hirafu just to experience the outdoor onsen where you are surrounded by pine trees. I have personally spoken to some of them before and they tell me they really love it. For us, there was kaiseki dinner and breakfast included and we really enjoyed the food. The dinner plan is a cycle of 3 days, so if you stay for 4 nights you would get the same dinner on the first and fourth. I would also like to take this opportunity to appreciate the concierge who is always ever so helpful in attending to all our requests, whether it is on enquiring about shuttle bus timings to providing contact numbers of taxi services which are outside the scope of the hotel, it shows that the staff really extra mile! Finally, just a comment about accessibility. Public buses equipped with toilet literally drop you off at the entrance of the hotel from major cities like Otaru and Sapporo. We travelled to Iroha from Sapporo, and we found the commute very convenient given that we brought our ski gear along as we did not use luggage forward

Was quite surprised to see this is not a 4star because the service of this place is definitely above 3star. This place is literally minutes away from the famous Niseko/nook snow resort centre. Or you can wait for hourly shuttle bus to take you there which is also minutes away. There’s ski lockers for you to safeguard your ski gears. The Onsen was amazing. There’s kid play room. The staff is so polite and nice, they offer to take our luggage up while we dash off to ski. Kaiseki Dinner was excellent, they serve you and explain each dish! and the Breakfast was good. The bed is so comfortable and it has amazing view. The only downside is the Onsen starts at 11.30am. Otherwise, everything was amazing! We are thinking of returning in the near future.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at Iroha hotel. The facilities although old were clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and provided enough space to spread out our luggage and even has a small sitting area for you to enjoy a tea/snack. The onsen was great with a restful and tranquil outdoor section. One recommendation is to assign staff member to give guests to onsen a quick guide to onsen etiquette. During my short 3 visits to the onsen, I had seen visitors going into the onsen in their undergarments and also without first taking a shower. The signs are mostly in Japanese and these incidents may have been prevented if proper instructions have been given. My booking came with breakfast and dinner. The meals were served by very courteous staff members and the food was delicious. The restaurant at the hotel does not provide lunch so if one is skiing it is best to have your meal at Nook Annupuri. The front desk staff members were also very service oriented and attentive. Overall, this is a 5 star experience in a 3 star hotel. We felt very welcome at the hotel. One point to note for skiers is that this is not a ski-in-ski-out hotel. The nearest stop to the ski slope is Nook Annupuri where one can put on skis and skis downhill to get ski pass. The walk is mostly flat and takes about 5 mins.

Some of the rooms have a bathtub while others do not have a shower or bathtub . Beware when you are booking the rooms . The rooms are very clean and come with two twin beds . No water is offered in the room . However the lounge on ground level do provide whole day coffee , matcha and ice water. There are also two massage chairs in the lounge which opens till midnight . Wifi is good . Onsens - a beautiful outdoor onsen overlooking out to the pine trees and two indoor onsens. Because there were so few of us ( probably low season for them) , the onsen did have an exclusive feel. Dinner was kaiseki. Delicious and amount was adequate . Breakfast was also set Japanese . Quite lovely . There are short trails around the hotel leading to a forest . There was also a distillery nearby . Do try out the alcohol .
