Value for money choice in Niseko”

Highly recommended. Price is considered at middle range. Not high as new and modern hotel or apartments nearby, while the price is higher than some shared bathroom type apartments. If you travel in 2 persons or group of few couples, this is the one. We got a room type 24m2 two bed which is very comfortable. We got a bathtub in our room, also good after all day outdoor activities. The location is great. Convienant & drug store just opposites the hotel. Many restaurants locate at walking distance. Grand hirafu base and Rhythm gear rental are also walking distance. The hotel outside looks old fashion, but inside they keep good maintanance, not broken. Onsen facility is great especially the small rock onsen. Breakfast has food variety for choose and taste good. They also have room for ski or snowboard gears to keep your room dry. Also, if you rent gears from Rhythm, Rhythm can pick up your gear from this hotel.

Jewel of Hirafu”

This place is incredible. We've got a larger tatami + futon room that could probably fit 4 people if needed. Can't beat it for the price - the location for walking 5 min to the ski lifts is supreme or 30 seconds to shops and restaurants. The indoor/outdoor baths are lovely. The staff is incredibly friendly and they accepted our ski delivery almost 2 weeks before we would arrive. Honestly have no complaints whatsoever. I hope this family-run place can keep it going. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Stayed 2 nights in February 2024

Good value in older hotel with relatively good lcoation”

We stayed at Nupuri Wing (main building) Japanese Style Room that has no private bathroom or bath. There were no more rooms in Yotei wing and we were initially hesitant, but the experience was above our expectations. The public bath is wonderful with all the toiletries you need (face cleanser and lotion too). Get to breakfast early as they don't seem to replace everything after the initial setup. As you exit the hotel, turn right down the hill and walk through the first car park on your right. Walk towards the end of lot and descend the incline and you will see the ski hill. The entrance way has a grid of metal beams . It's not exactly ski-in and ski-out but beats walking up to Grand Hirafu or all the way down to family lift.

At the heart of Grand Hirafu”

This hotel may not be as modern as it's surrounding hotels but we had a good stay. It is located right in the middle Grand Hirafu. Tonkanzen Ramen, % Arabica, and a pharmacy is just across the street. It is also a couple of meters to the Niseko Tokyu Resort and to the ski lifts so it is very convenient for skiers and snowboarders. Breakfast options are also good. For the convenience and overall experience, I would totally recommend this hotel. We are planning to go back to Niseko and will definitely be staying here again.
