Jijyo and Kyoko are the greatest of all time! Breakfast every morning, a ride to the gondola, and willing to help with anything you need ! Can’t stress enough how pleased I was with this place. I do speak a little japanese but there were plenty of other foreigners that stayed and they did just fine in terms of communication. I went with a friend and the rooms were comfortable, i think its a great spot for solo travelers or even groups. Just treat them with utmost respect because they deserve nothing less!

I stayed from February 7th to February 11th. I had a comfortable stay like home. The Western-style breakfast was satisfying, and the owners were really kind and treated us like family. We stayed for 4 days and used the Hirafu Welcome Center and Kutchan for pick-up when going out in the morning. When coming back, there is a bit of inconvenience in having to walk, but it is not far from Hirafu Kutchan, there is a Lawson convenience store 300 meters away, and there are famous soup curry and ramen restaurants near Nisekoan, which is nice. The bus stop to Good Chan is also located near the accommodation. The condition of the accommodation is not very good, but I think it's a great value for the price range. Our room was a duplex room. There is no boiler in the room, but there is an oil stove. When sleeping, I turned off the stove and didn't feel cold (there is a slight draft near the window). There are shared toilets and showers (not in the room). Warm water is available for showers from 5pm to 11pm, and if you want to shower at other times, just let them know. I highly recommend it if you want good value for money. I want to use it again next year.

Myself and my girlfriend had a great time staying at Tabi no Kousaten. We stayed in a japanese style room which would have had enough room for 4 people easy! Good heating, loads of storage space. Very clean guesthouse, breakfast with Tea & Coffee every morning with transfers to resort lifts after. The couple running the guesthouse could not be more helpful and friendly, it really made our stay much more enjoyable and stress-free! Good storage area for skis. Only a 9 min walk to the centre of grand hirafu. Bus stop only 2 mins away for coming back from skiing. Lawson & its famous chicked is only a 5min walk away. A little on the outskirts of niseko grand hirafu however some of the better value restaurants are out of the centre anyway. Not really an issue for skiing given the free shuttle every day. Only minor issue was that there was 1x male toilet for the propety which got busy at times but no real issue. Overall would recommend and would happily stay here again!
