Many reviewers were impressed with the beautiful views of Sydney Harbour and Opera House from their rooms, as well as the personalized and excellent service from the friendly staff. The hotel's location was also praised, with easy access to public transportation and a variety of cafes and restaurants, including a Halal Yummy Lebanese Cafe. Guests enjoyed staying in the clean and modern rooms, which were equipped with comfortable beds.
Few rooms have train station noise, mainly those above it.

I never thought it would be this good. The view is unbelievably amazing... The hotel is older than I expected, but it's very clean and cozy, and quite spacious, so even with two large suitcases, it doesn't feel cramped. The location is very convenient, with a Coles just a little down the road (about 200 meters), and it’s only a 200-meter walk from the subway, making it a great spot. I was assigned to the 6th floor and when I asked for a higher room for my 2-day stay, they said it would cost about $45 extra, so I just stayed on the 6th floor, which is still really nice. It would have been great to be higher up, but this level is absolutely amazing. It's a bit disappointing that all the water in the fridge is charged and there's no free water, but I bought some at Coles for 85 cents, and I can overlook the lack of free water because the view makes it all worth it. It's truly an incredible hotel... If I come back to Sydney, I would definitely want to stay here again, 100000%. The view from the room is tear-jerking... the harbor bridge view... I highly recommend it.
The stay was pleasant. You get a clear view of the Harbour Bridge and Luna Park. The staff were friendly, approachable, and easy to understand. We also had a healthy and filling breakfast. The location was great—close to convenience stores and train stations. All in all, I would recommend this place. Just one small issue: there was a time when our room was cleaned without our permission. It wasn’t a big deal, but we just weren’t aware it was going to happen. I guess we should have made sure to always put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door.
The View hotel was a pleasant and relaxing stay close to my required needs for a conference in North Sydney. The bar area was comfortable to work from during days not in meetings and the view to the Bridge is second to none! Lovely outdoor area for morning coffees looking to the harbour. The gym unfortunately is severely lacking and should perhaps look to agreements with local providers as they dont have the space it seems. Very much a closet and hot in the morning sun.
We stayed here for 2 nights with my pet and had a really pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome right from the start. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view was definitely a highlight. It’s not always easy to find a place that’s pet-friendly and still feels this nice, so I really appreciated it. Date of Visit: 2024 Aug 31 to Sep 03 (3 nights). Room Type: Harbour Bridge View King Room for 2 people. Room Number: 808. Overall: 9.611/10. Location: 10. Indoor Air Conditioning: 10. Hot water / Water flow: 10. Breakfast: 8. Room, Hotel Amenities and other services: 10. Acoustics / Noise: 10. Ambience: 9. Cleanliness: 10. Service: 10. Highly recommended for couples and to have a magnificent view of Sydney. Location: It is located a short distance away from Sydney Central Business District (about 15 mins car ride, 20 mins public transport). The North Sydney train station is within a short distance (about 200m) from the hotel. Right beside is Greenwood Plaza, a shopping mall with food, grocery and shopping options. Air Conditioning: Works well to provide cool and comfortable temperature. Water: There is hot water and temperature can be adjusted easily. Buffet Breakfast: There food options for the buffet breakfast was okay, and they consist of bacon, sausage, egg, tomato, potato, bean, porridge, bread, porridge, croissant, pastry, pancake, spread, jam, salad, cereal, nuts, raisin, fruit, juice, coffee and milk. Most of the food tasted okay, however the pineapple was sour. I was pleasantly surprised that there was honeycomb on the last morning. Perhaps it would be better if there were slightly more options such as noodle, cake and pudding. Room, Hotel Amenities and other services: This hotel has one of the most beautiful and breathtaking views overlooking Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Central Business District, coastline, ships and train route. Depending on the room orientation, Guests can also see the sunrise. The room is big and spacious, with adequate socket outlets although the room interior design seems quite plain. There is also restaurant, gym, food service, laundry and luggage storage. Acoustics / Noise: The sound proofing of the room is good. We did not hear any traffic noise from the 8th floor. Ambience: This is a great place to stay right in the midst of the city, close to train station, shopping mall, restaurants, grocery, etc. Cleanliness: The room is spacious, clean albeit plain. I did not detect any roaches or insects throughout the stay. Service: The staff were approachable and friendly.
