The location is excellent, only around 10 minutes’ walk to Shinsaibashi. There’s a 7-11 downstairs, though the selection is quite limited. Inside the hotel, you have to take off your shoes from the entrance — a bit inconvenient when coming and going, but it does keep the place spotless. The rooms and daily housekeeping were impressively clean. Every night from 9:30 p.m., the hotel serves free ramen, which is surprisingly delicious! It’s a lovely touch, especially for travelers craving a quick supper after a long day. As for the onsen — it’s nice to have one in central Osaka, but it’s quite small. The bathing area has only a few shower booths, and the dressing area has just three hair-drying stations. The hair dryers are also very weak, so everyone ends up waiting to dry their hair, which slows down the flow. I hope the hotel can improve this part soon. The good thing is the onsen is open from 3 p.m. till 10 a.m., so you can soak anytime in the evening or early morning — that’s really convenient and relaxing.
