In a mixed Pasay neighborhood”
Pasay’s Starlight BnB is an attractive property on a side street in ordinary, somewhat gritty area of Manila. Being in 15-25 minutes of the international airport is its biggest advantage. I felt safe and comfortable walking around the area. While there are no tourist restaurants in the area, there are many typical eating places and 7-11 type stores within one or two blocks. There is suppose to be a large mall nearby, but I never explored that option. The hotel staff was very accommodating. A couple of times they arranged fixed rate taxis for me. While their normal breakfast hours are 7-10 AM, they prepared my breakfast at 6 AM when I needed to leave for an early flight. Cozy seems to be the favorite term to describe the rooms. The hotel and the rooms are what I call Japanese modern: Clean, attractive, efficient use of space, but no mats. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, TV had international channels, nice balcony, and the bathroom was small, but certainly not cramped. I plan to stay in Starlight when I return to Manila.

The Holy Spiritually-filled 5-star hotel of Manila”
I enjoy two nights' stay at the Protestant family-run Starlight BnB very much. I will return to the hotel again during a future trip. Here, the staff work with love, faith, graciousness and patience. In the dining area, I learn about the hotel's philosophy inspired by the Bible. This Pasay city hotel is of close proximity to Ermita and Makati cities and Pasay Adventist churches of Metro Manila. The area around has no lamp post at night but it is safe. It is not dodgy. Travel to the hotel from the airport costs 250 Pesos nowadays.

A fabulous hotel!”
We stayed here on 5 occasions over the past 2 months, every time we arrived it felt like we had come home! The whole hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms have aircon, safes and very comfortable beds. The restaurant serves tasty food which is very good value. However, the best thing about Starlight is the amazing staff and management: friendly, happy, hard working, helpful and very professional. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The hotel is around 30 minutes by cab from Manila airport. It is convenient for the Mall of Asia and buses to the North and South of Luzon. I cannot recommend Starlight highly enough!

Good clean butget humble hotel”
I stayed at Starlight hotel for December 2017. The staff is friendly, professional, super helpful and always there when I have any questions or help. The place is very clean and bed sheets are clean. The Filipino breakfast is good and satisfying. The location is pretty busy, but we noise could not be heard inside the building. Also, true the location and surroundings of the hotel is not really clean and not touristy, but it is the real Manila scene. Also, thanks for having fun with us to celebrate the New Year at the pent house. You guys are so funny! I would stay again. Thanks!

Great Value for Money...Highly recommended”
For travelers who came from nearby province(s) by public transport, the hotel is very accessible as it is just a few steps away from the LRT-Libertad Station. Staff are friendly and attentive to their guests e.g. they have taken care of the booking of Uber taxi. Although, the room size is not that generous, it was minimalistically designed so you have enough moving space. Definitely, we will come back in our future overnight Manila stay. Kudos Starlight!!!

Always a good stay @ Starlight”
I have stayed at this hotel many times. i always use it when i arrive and depart via Manila airport. Staff always courteous & friendly, room spotless. Food is very affordable and always super yummy. I have to say the location is not the best but i always go to the Victory mall close by and the local market and no one has ever bothered me. I have 2 upcoming trips to the Philippines and i have a total of seven nights booked at the Starlight. for me 10/10

It's nice staying at Starlight B&B. I requested airport pick up. It's easy to find them at T4 and reasonable price they offered. That's the reason I booked for this hotel. The room were very clean and keep good mentainances. They have a restaurant at the ground floor was a very nice. I enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at this hotel. Especially Japanese meal and pan cakes were very tasty. I think I will come back for meal.

Fabulous Hotel in Pasay!”
We stayed in this wonderful hotel on three separate occasions during our time in the Philippines. The building is in superb condition and is very well maintained. The rooms are a little small but we did not find this an issue, ours was very quiet had a comfortable bed, a balcony, a TV and a spotless bathroom with plenty of hot water.. There were two bottles of complimentary water in the room. There is fast wifi throughout the hotel and restaurant. On the top floor there is a roof terrace with great views across the city. The attached restaurant serves great food and super-tasty juices and shakes. The hotel is situated about 1 km from the Jamliner bus terminal, making it ideal for the bus south to Batangas and onwards to Porta Galera and Anilao. I found the surrounding area great fun, with markets, ATMs and the Pasay Victory Mall all close by. The best thing about this hotel is the absolutely fantastic staff for whom nothing is too much trouble!

Best rooms in Front”
This is my second time staying at the Starlight. The main thing I learned this time was about room selection. They have five rooms on each of three floors. The front rooms, e.g. A, B & C have open porches facing the city skyline. The back rooms, D & E, have closed prches looking over the neighborhood. The big disadvantage of the closed porches is the huge heat build-up from the AC units. That might be nice if you need to dry some clothes, but it is no place to smoke. Street or neighborhood noise is not a significant factor on either front or back side. The hotel staff uses Uber or similar taxi services, which usually get you a competitive rate in a super clean vehicle. Using the hotel vehicle results in a more expensive rate. The Starlight is off the beaten path, so expect your taxi driver to be uncertain about how to find the place.

I always choose Starlight when I am flying into and out of manilla Airport Room not big but clean with balcony. WiFi is strong. Breakfast is very good. Also try the Tofu with mushrooms very tasty. Staff attitude is excellent. There is a sun lounge on the top floor. The Victory mall is close by with mall of Asia a taxi ride away. Couldn't ask for anything better.”
Newly constructed in March of 2014, clean, well serviced..... did I say Very Clean? ok, it was very clean comparing to some of the older stingy 4 star hotels. excellent breakfasts, from now on I will use Starlight as my stopover point befor and after my NAIA flights. There are only 2 things that could be improved: 1. The room could have been just a bit bigger and 2. The elevator should be made bigger. I had to fight with my big bag in this tiny 2'x3' elevator. Overall very good bang for my buck.

satisfactory”
Staying at Starlight Bed and Breakfast was definitely worth it. The room was small but comfortable and it's cleaner than most hotels I've stayed in Manila. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. The only problem I had was the location, taxi drivers had difficulty locating the place most of the time.

Homely and Value for Money...”
Pleasantly surprised with Starlight, rooms were decent, clean and affordable. Service was pleasant and you can tell they take pride in their property. Rates were good value as well, our room came with breakfast which was a choice of local or western options. Tried the salted egg chicken wings the night before too and it was great! There's a 'skylight' on the 6th floor with a small swinging table for 4, good for smoking and chilling out at night which we did! 😁 Would definitely recommend this property.

Bed and Midnight snack”
I had small bday surprise for my boyfriend, they allowed me to set up my decorations inside the room . Small room though but all your basic necessities are available here. Good for quick stay over here in metro. Plus, a safe free parking lot nearby exclusive for Starlight customers with a tanod guarding the area( i dont know if 24hrs). The gate was securily locked as well at night. Too bad we only stayed up to 12 midnight, we werent able to try their breakfast. To sum up, we enjoyed our stay here.. 😊

superb B&B”
SUPER clean place! excellent customer service. They really go out of their way to provide your needs. They even booked a trustworthy taxi driver for me to go to the airport. Location isn't so bad. It's not really in a very bad part of the city. One does need to be vigilant as one should be in Manila. But it's not that near to the airport at all. Food is yummy! Free breakfast served was very good. I wish i could have ordered more from their restaurant but i arrived quite late on Sunday and resto was already closed. Only complaint was the wifi. Signal was too weak, could not connect even if they provided me the password. All in all i would definitely stay in this place again if my business in Manila is in the general location of this hotel. It is a gem of a place hidden in Manila.
