The building is beautiful and well-maintained, so I feel good every time I enter. The lounge is also comfortable, and there was no shortage of bathrooms or showers. Oh! However, there was no USB port for others to use next to my bed, so I couldn't charge my phone while sleeping. Also, the bed width seems a bit narrow. There are Korean restaurants, Tesco Express open until late at night, and McDonald's, Subway, KFC, and Pret nearby, which was great, and the surrounding area was clean and safe. It was okay to go alone late at night! It was very convenient to move to other places because it is in London, where public transportation is well developed, and it is also in a good location because it is between two subway stations! The staff are also very friendly! You can pay and leave your luggage in the locker after check-out, and it was cheap!

Love it here! Stayed in the mixed room for 4, there is curtain on every bed, and while it is comfortable the bed is a bit on the smaller side - I'm 110kg/5'3" and it fitted very snugly. The guy above me kept dropping his phone while he's sleeping because it's just too narrow. Anyway the hostel itself is great with free tea and lounge and very well equipped kitchen (though a bit narrow). The bathrooms are great, the water pressure is amazing and the hot water is plentiful. There are hair dryers everywhere and places to put your shoes outside your room. Didn't try breakfast but from what I saw it had lots of variety and the bread smelled delicious

As a single female travelling on her own safety is a huge importance and the security that Palmers Lodge: Swiss Cottage provide is outstanding your key card doesn't just unlock your room door it unlocks the front gate, the front door as well as other areas of the hostel which means that there is a high level of security in place so there's no chance of people just wandering in and you constantly feel safe whilst there. It doesn't even feel like a hostel, the feel and the decor makes it feel like a 5-star experience. As for the staff were so lovely and helpful throughout my stay

I was backpacking in London, with the price offered, it is recommended to stay here, there is two nearby underground stations and a few grocery stores in super short distant. Staff is friendly and the toilets are clean.
