Cute little seafront quiet end of the beach hotel”
We enjoyed the sea views and the staff were helpful and kind, they always wanted to make sure you were happy. The main lobby area is gorgeous as it brings to life a traditional Khmer style. Beware of Agoda’s listing, there is no warm water and no wifi in the rooms. This is a little far from the other parts of the beach where the restaurants, tours and bars are. Also, there are not many bridges to cross, so when the tide is in you must get wet quite high up your legs almost to your short line just to walk to and from the hotel.

Perfect location but not so perfect hotel”
The bungalows are located at the south of the bay which is a lot less build and very enjoyable. The hotel in itself could be improved especially for the price : no amnesties (no soap/shampoo) , no daily room cleaning, rooms are very basic and without any charm. The highlight is really the beach and the location, not so much the hotel .

as the whole beach is currently under construction (thanks to foreign investors who want to rebuild krs as a luxury tourist destination), we were lucky to find one of the last gems on the beach. directly located on a stunning beach.

Set on the perfect beach, Paradise Villas delivers on all fronts. Peaceful, tranquil and serene—we enjoyed the crystal clear water and white sand! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were attentive and accommodating, not at all intrusive, just there to make our stay the best it could be. Food was great and the bungalow with A/C was a nice haven at the end of the day.

KRS under development ”
Paradise is good but the island is now being developed for big resorts. Roads have been cut, bungalows demolished and overall unpleasant atmosphere where it was once ideal

Everything was good. Friendly staffs, nice location (just close by the speed ferry), lovely interior design, awesome food :) Don't complain about bugs when you stay in a bungalow. The only minus point is that cleaning staffs are quite slow. We waited for hours but our room wasn't cleaned.

Garden bungalow was dark and cramped. Other bungalows looked nicer e.g. beachfront bungalows. The common area / restaurant area was nice for relaxing and the location was perfect.

Amazing place!!!! ”
Loved our stay here in paradise villas. The whole set up with the villas and bungalows and restaurant is so nice and chilled. Was so happy to relax for a few days here. Christina is awesome and super helpful. Such a nice lady. We had trouble with our boat trip to Koh Rong Island so she added one more night for us with no hassle. Would happily stay again here as you can't complain being a few steps from the beach!!!! Brilliant!

Quite good location: it's near the end of the sacareon beach (the hotel staff will pick you up at the arrival pier by boat) but you can walk to the departure pier back to Sihanoukville. Amazing and delicious food there, you must try it.

A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT”
I was there with my mother and one of his friends. I am not exaggerating when I say that is the worst place you can stay in Koh Rong Samloem, in terms of location, cleanliness, kindness and everything. I premise that I've been living in Cambodia for 2 months before, so I had time to get used to the "cambodian lifestyle" and I can assure you that among ALL THE PLACES I'VE BEEN VISITED, EVEN THE JUNGLE, THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST ONE. I don't know where to start to list all the bad things of this place. I start from the most awful to the least: 1. While we were having breakfast we noticed a little kid who was cleaning the floor of the bar, and the owner stopped by, he pass his fingers on the floor and got mad at the little kid because he was not cleaning well (a kid should play with his friend, not clean your floor) 2. OUR BUNGALOW WAS WITHOUT WATER FOR ONE DAY (out of two of staying there) we had to wash ourselves with bottles of mineral water because noone was supporting us 3. we arrived and there were boats of other hotels at the pier waiting for their customers, but not ours. We had to walk 30 min from the pier and the beach and the seaside were getting worse and worse 4. it's impossible to swim in front of the hotel, the seaside is yellowish-brown and it is full of trash 5. it is really bad organized, it is not clean in front of the beach 6. the owner was really dry, he didn't even say "welcome" nor "how was your staying here" and let us wait on the benches of the bar from 9 AM to 2 PM because the check in was at 2 (he knew we would have been arrived at around 9.30, because it is an island and the timetable of the boats is ALWAYS THE SAME), he did not even provide us a shower or a temporary bathroom. TO CONCLUDE I recommend you not to go too far on the left from the main pier, because the water and the sand get dirtier and dirtier (and the trash from the toilets flows in the water). room is clean n bed is firm. but room is bare. 1 table fan is provided. long walk from reception n pretty dark at night to our end unit Garden bungalow. Grass on walkway is long n uncut n some muddy patches after rain. However a concrete pathway is being built with garden lights should be completed within a week or two.
