It was great that Waterloo Station was nearby, allowing easy access to various lines, and there were 3-4 supermarkets, including a Korean mart, located close by for convenience. Big Ben and the London Eye were also within a 3-5 minute walk, which made it nice to go for photos in the morning and evening. The room was spacious, and since it was in an area dense with landmarks and hotels, the security was good. They even gifted a bottle of wine for the Lunar New Year, thoughtfully placed in an ice bucket so I could enjoy it immediately upon my return. The housekeeping staff also managed everything meticulously, so I had a very comfortable stay with no inconveniences. However, when I requested to change my room to another one at check-in, I was told that it was too late and to check back the next day when others were checking out and they would then "look into it" again. The attitude of the staff member was not an issue, but I was puzzled as to why they couldn’t confirm immediately when the schedule was already known. It seems that the hotel could handle requests in the order they come in, so why should I compete for a room with customers checking in the next day whom I had not even met yet? Why should a customer who has already paid be required to put in extra effort? Anyway, the next day when I went to the front desk, the staff member I had spoken to was not there, so I asked another employee (a Black male) to check my request, but he said it was not possible. From the moment he started talking to me, his expression was quite brusque, making it hard to tell whether he genuinely couldn’t help or was just being unhelpful, which left me feeling uneasy. At the entrance, the security staff also made eye contact with me while I was entering the hotel but did not greet me, and only acknowledged my husband after I had walked past him. The same was true for a suited employee I encountered on the floor I stayed. Throughout my 5-night stay, I interacted with several staff members, and not everyone was like this, but due to the attitude of a few employees, despite the good conditions mentioned above, I would not choose this hotel again if I were to revisit London. It’s possible that there really were no available rooms or that I had misinterpreted the situation, but if a customer perceives an experience as unpleasant, I think the hotel should consider making some improvements.
Great place for taking the tube and touring major spots (London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey). Kind services from the staff. Lovely services for a honeymoon trip: beautiful towel-made swans, rose petals, and chilled champagne with the message "Congratulations on your honeymoon."
We visited for our honeymoon stay, and maybe because we sent a honeymoon email in advance, they upgraded our room! But they didn’t tell us, so we found out later… haha. The location was great since it was within walking distance to Big Ben and the London Eye! Considering the expensive accommodation prices in London, I’m very satisfied with this location at this price! The cleanliness was decent for Europe.

I am Japanese and cannot speak English, but I desperately tried to understand and was helped by your efforts. I received support in two cases. 1. I didn't know how to pay the congestion charge in London, but you finished the payment for me like I was your child. 2. I couldn't find the drop-off parking at Victoria Station for the rental car and spent an hour searching for it. When I was tired and went to the hotel, the two staff members switched and looked for it for me. It was the greatest happiness during my trip. I will also spread the kindness of these two staff members to our friends. Thank you very much.

“Delightful experience ”
We stayed as a family of 3 with a very little kid and enjoyed staying at this property. The property is located at a central location with nearby all touristy attractions especially London eye which everyone would come to see in London. It’s just a five minute walk from the hotel. Public transport was also nearby along with groceries shop. The property was very nice and we stayed here for 8 nights which almost gave a home feeling to us. Thankful to the Park plaza for giving such a delightful and memorable experience:) . Would highly recommend to families travelling with kids.
