Pleasantly surprised.”
I usually stay at slightly higher-end places when I top through Phnom Penh, but my go-to place was booked up. Poolside Villa came up as an option at a great rate, and thought I'd give it a go. I didn't have high expectations, but they exceeded all of them. I had a private room/bathroom, the AC worked well, and overall it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly (if you know a bit of Khmer, even better!), the coffee was good, and prices for food were reasonable. I would stay there again.

Clean, comfortable, friendly and quiet”
Poolside Villa was perfect for me! It was easy to walk here from the Royal Palace (even with my big backpack) and I received a lovely warm, informative welcome. The dorm was spacious and cool with an en-suite loo/ shower. Water refills are cheap. I didn’t eat but lots of people were and there was a friendly atmosphere. The pool is small but sparkling clean and I felt confident to leave my bag there after checkout while I was out and about.

Staff were extremely friendly and very good at their jobs. Pool and bar very clean and friendly. Room was a good size and very clean with good air conditioning. Several local bars and restaurants and taxi's outside the hotel Absolutely no complaints and would visit again.

Location and facilities are great and helpful staff”
The location is good and you're close to the main attractions. There's a pool, bar, breakfast etc. It looks like a great place to meet people and make new friends as the social space is really big! Actually the staff were helpful and friendly so i have no criticisms. The only thing i'd reccommend would be to provide some soap or shower gel in the toilets. Nothing too major though!

Simple, easy & convenient”
The receptionist was helpful throughout the process. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Area is well secured and there's convenient store nearby as well. Love the design and concept of the home, I had a lovely stay though it was just a few hours. Would love to visit again.

I am currently traveling in South East Asia, I have done a couple of hostels but this one is one of the best. Perfect staff who provide good advices, I could rate them 6*. nice pool, really worth the price for the dorms.

Great private rooms”
We’ve stayed here twice now. Once in a private room and also in a dorm. Private room was LOVELY! Good air con, clean rooms, good shower. The dorm however was terrible!! No air con remote so it’s boiling hot. Beds are so close together. Toilet dirty and room very smelly. The hotel itself is great, including the pool and the food is really nice. Just don’t stay in the dorms!!

Amazing place. Best area. Spotless. Great help with laundry, bookings, busses. Cheaper than found online. Booked to stay again after Siem Reap. Some loud party people at night stumbling into their rooms unfortunately.

There were things, such as the missing tiles in the pool, which might bother some travelers. I would say this is a perfect spot for a first-time traveler to Phnom Penh. They offer good food, a bar, bike and moto rentals, as well as day trips and transpo to neighboring countries. Right off Bassac Lane (which is a hot spot as of 2022, the city changes fast).

Great location and easy”
A coworker and I stayed here in a double room during a work trip. The beds were quite hard but otherwise everything was good. The rooms were somewhat small but didn't feel crammed. Nothing fancy about the rooms but did the trick. The communal area was nice. The pool was comfortable, the selection of food was great, especially when you weren't ready to go anywhere to get breakfast and the prices were fair. The location was the best part of this place. It spit you out right into a side street with great restaurants and bars. The staff was always helpful as well.

Nice hostel with a pool and bar/restaurant, fairly cheap and food was decent. Great location near a lot of bars and restaurants and walking distance from the independence monument. The room smelt a bit like durian and sewage which wasn't the best but oh well we survived.
