For viewing the temple near by this hotel will do, the beds were OK but everything else didn't work. Cold showers, bathroom flooded, no TP or soap. Front desk was not manned, the little town next to it was a non-tourist place for sure. $2.50 for for a 0.50 cent beer! (walk to the little shop next door for a good price) . But it is the only place to over night, the other hotel in town is just as bad with double the price. This hotel was not worth the money and should be half the price. When you can find the staff they are nice people.

Homely, bright and clean hotel”
I love this hotel because of the homely feel and the peaceful.surroundings... I'm definitely going to stay here each time I come back to Preah Vihear province.

On arrival the receptionist could not find my reservation. We had 2 double rooms and each had smelly and flooding bathrooms. At the restaurant the girls were more interested in their phones rather than to serve us. Half of the drinks were not available, not even fresh juices or wine... We decided to order only Khmer dishes and even those were missing half of the ingredients!!! But the highlight was breakfast the next morning. We were presented with an A4 printed breakfast menu consisting of Noodle Soup, Fried Rice and Fried Noodles (all Beef, Chicken or Pork) or Rice with Beef, Stir fried pork with rice, Stir fried Chicken with rice. As well as Bread or Toast with (omelet, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, ham, bacon or sausages). We each decided what to have for breakfast and when we placed our order the reply was simply: "NO HAVE, NO HAVE" Only noodles and rice? When I pointed at the menu for Orange Juice, Pine apple Juice and Fresh I got 3 NO HAVE's. I gave up...

Nice Facilities; Staff will improve with time”
There aren't many options in the Preah Vihear area (Sra Aem village) and this hotel was certainly one of the best in terms of facilities. Stayed there during low season so staff was sparse and most services limited (e.g., most of the menu wasn't available, a problem since there aren't other restaurant options). Still, the staff was helpful for travel arrangements and in time they'll gain experience and improve overall.

Nice newly built hotel .Roons fibe. Nice staff.Restaurant hopeless menu items mostly unavailable and you are stuck with it Too far from Sra'em which has no bars or restaurants only a couple of guesthouses The area is empty and 25k from Preah Vihear We checked out a day early rather than die of boredom despite having paid in advance

it's a long way from anywhere ”
The rooms are nice and very clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The online ad is not accurate though. There is no pick up and the WiFi was down when we were there. But in saying that we were literally the only guests staying there.

They damaged my motorcycle and then lied about it.”
Tried to check in. I couldn't see anyone anywhere. Waited a few minutes and then heard some laughing behind a closed door. Knocked on the door - no response. Continued to wait but still no response. Knocked again but still no response. After a total of ten minutes the manager came out laughing and said he didn't know anyone was out here. Hotel looked to have no customers except myself. Later in the evening I cam out to my motorcycle which was parked about five meters from the guard. As soon as I got on it I noticed the mirror and the clutch lever were not in the proper place. I got of the motorcycle and asked what happened. He did not speak English so someone else came out but his English was not very good. I had him call the manager at home to come in to speak with me. I did not tell either person what had happened to the motorcycle but when the manager showed up they pointed out the problem to him - how could they know what it was without knowing what happened? Since it was dark I could not see if there was any other damage - had the bike been moved and dropped? The clamp that holds the mirror and clutch lever is necessarily tight and could not be adjusted by hand - how did it get moved in the first place. The manager insisted that no one knew what happened. He said he would review the video tapes in the morning to see who was near the motorcycle. I asked him what time he would do that and he said 8:00 AM. I went to the front desk to check out at 9:00 AM. No one there. Again waited a few minutes and then knocked on the door. The manager came out with a smile and asked me if I wanted to check out. I said yes and then asked him what he found on the video. He had a puzzled look on his face and I asked him again. He looked confused. Finally I told him that he said he was going to look at the video tape at 8:00 and tell me what he found. He backtracked and seemed to fumble with his words. He went into his office and closed the door. After a couple minutes I open

Brand new ”
Just opened (Dec'16). Spotlessly clean, well designed. Spacious rooms with TV, fridge & kettle. Very welcome clear swimming pool after a long day at Preah Vihear. Lovely gardens, pleasant open restaurant & good breakfast. Walking distance to the market. At the price, excellent value. This is a VERY good place to stay when visiting the north & Preah Vihear. Charming helpful staff. Really enjoyed staying here.
