Location is fantastic, just down the street from the bottom of the family lift at Grand Hirafu so walking your gear back to the apartment is no big deal. Also just down the street from Secomart convenience store which just has everything you could need. Large gear lockers are in the basement, one per apartment. Our studio is the perfect - plenty of space (not common in Japan!), comfortable bed (with regular pillows - not the hard ones common in Japan), good size fridge with a separate freezer, and all the kitchen items you might need. Bathroom is great - especially the towel/gear heater! Staff have been amazing, incredibly responsive and both picked us up from the bus and ran over an appleTV remote when we told them the one in our room was missing. Can't find one issue with Akazora!

staff is friendly, quick response of ad hoc suitation, as we come in low season, our bus come early than schedule, they still can manage to pick up in last min request we travel with baby, baby cot is provided, and the apartment is best for simple cooking, we have breakfast everyday in the house before snowboarding

Our unit is just beside the entrance of carpark, there is no privacy at all if window blinds are drawn up. Bedroom has no air con unit, only in the living area. Need to leave the door open to get the cool air in. Again no privacy. Nobody at the Reception, need to call if need any assistance. No very convenient. And entrance lobby area had a bad smell.
