Where to stay in Bago Division
Bago Division hotels & accommodations

I really enjoyed this hotel. The pictures do not do it justice. Its really beautiful. The hotel is in a bungalow style. Front porches with chairs all facing the walk way. The grounds are very well kept and you can eat on tables in the middle of the hotel walk way or in the restaurant. The beds are comfee and the shower is the best so far in Myanmar. The fo...

I stayed at Han Thar Gardens with my wife and infant son in August 2015. It was low season, so we were automatically upgraded to a deluxe room. The hotel's restaurant and lounge areas are spacious, relaxing, and comfortable - perfect for a day of reading and relaxing with a drink while watching the monsoon rains. The pool is small but inviting, good for a dip but not f...

One day wasn't enough. I was recommended to do a day trip to bago but I decided to book a hotel for one night stay. It was such a relaxing place that one day trip was very short. I was planning to explore around the town but end up at the hotel half of the day due to heavy rain but during my trip to Myanmar , that was the most relaxing day. The hotel is far enough from...

First and foremost, I would like to recommend this hotel as one of the best hotels. I'm sure you will get the different and great feelings with the ancient architectural designs. Secondly, I highly appreciate the hostilities of all the staffs. The receptionists are very helpful with sweet smiles and with zero complaints. They are always alert even when I made a call ...

Very beautiful place to spend a couple of nights. Take your hiking shoes as this is a great place for taking forest walks. The staff can easily arrange. The sunset walk is a must. Bring your mosquito repellent and a battery powered light source of you need light in your room during the day, power only comes on 6pm-6am.

I booked a couple of nights at the Myanmar Beauty on the strength of reviews online and was not disappointed. I took a standard room without aircon but the fans were sufficient for the weather at the time. My room also had access to a lovely wide balcony. The breakfast was highly recommended and met all my expectations. I was served my own personal banquet of small dis...

We arrived in Pyay late in th evening and most hotels were already booked. Hotel Nawaday was not our first choice but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are nothing special and could have been cleaner but the bed was comfy and the surroundings quiet. The breakfast was delicious. The staff spoke limited English but was very courteous and professional. They helped u...

We needed to visit family in a nearby village, so this was a helpful option. Don’t expect the cleanest of bedding and towels, but if you don’t have hangups over that kind of stuff then no problem. The free breakfast was middling, but you can walk to 6 other food options at that rest stop area. The massage lady was a lifesaver after a few rough travel days.

Not as expected because the Wi-fi advertised simply does not exist and neither does the inclusive breakfast. The hotel management acknowlegded this and offered alternative better accommodation, for the same price, in their Myanmar Beauty Hotel II,III,IV. But these are far out of town and isolated.

The wetlands are really calm and beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Apart from the boat tour there's not much to do, so if you want to get out of the crazy Yangon traffic, this is the place to be: No TV, no free Wifi - bring a good book or board games. Food is good, plentiful, and service is fast. Rooms are basic; the boat bungalows are overpriced in my opinion, though ...

By far one of my favorite places I have stayed at in the past 2 months that I have been traveling. The staff are very friendly and do there best to help you with any questions you have, and they always try to make you feel comfterable while staying there. If you are looking for a quiet and pleasant place to stay in Taungoo, where you can access both downtown and the mo...

We were welcomed at 4am and they gave us a room without charging us. Little room but comfy with good AC. Very good shower. Free hot/cold water to drink. Best breakfast in Myanmar so far (3 weeks). Location OK as no real center in Bago, not far from bus station. Cheap beer ans complimentary peanuts. Everyone very nice. Watchout: there's a guy ( red face with lots...

Having read other review's wasn't sure what to expect, the hotel is located about 3 km from town about 500 m down a side road. The rooms are big and spacious and reasonabley clean. A very quiet location. The breakfast is a bit hit and miss, after cold friend eggs we asked for omelette. The local breakfast looked OK . Others have made a comment about smells in the bathr...

I did a 1 day stopover at this city. Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The Manager can speak simply English and he is so helpful. There is a Swimming pool in the hotel. And my room has a balcony that overlooked the river. Overall I am happy with the room and my stay

the hotel was misleading in its lication about 10 k from town but could not help us get transport to town. breakfast invluded 1 cup of coffe and rice noodles or a cold sandwich of ubcooked vegetables. They did arrange a guide but very expensive anf did not speak English. I could go on and on just do not stay here. it is as if they have nevet seen or beem to a hotel. ...

Great value for money. I got a big 3 person room to myself. Staff helped arrange motorbike and taxi so that I could catch the bus on the other side of town. Pretty decent breakfast as well. Would be great for backpacker and was more than fine for me (I'm not a backpacker) for an overnight stay. Big bed, hot shower, clean towels.

It's a very nice hotel and the staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, super tasty. The only negative note is the position, it's far around 7 km from the city. P.s. you will find ATM just in the city and the tuk tuk costs about 200 kyat to go to the city. We found people asking even 5000 kyat or more, just look for the next one. :)
