Dong Nai Province hotels & places to stay

This hotel is best choice you get in this small but charming city. Staff is superb and very efficient. Reception staff was great and always super nice. Everyone really did amazing job. My room was very specious and had nice views of the city. Reception manager even upgraded my room for no extra charge with intentions to make my stay in their hotel and vietnam very pleasant, Vietnamese are simple and very loving people. They have good hearts and they want us all visitors to have best possible stay in thier amazing and beautiful country. Not much to see for tourist visitor in Bien Hoa but for me this city will always be special as my love and my future wife Hana live in this city and so does her family. Hotel have excellent laundry service and also nice pool. Breakfast also ok Excellent parking facilities and service. Oh don't forget to go across the street and have Vietnamese ice coffee or relax for few minutes sipping young coconut water whilst watching the traffic passing by. You will also meet very special and hard working lady who will make you nice coffee and take good care of you. Just turn right into the main road when you come out from the hotel and cross the street. It's the first street coffee stand just opposite the shopping center. It has red chears and red tables. 1-2 minutes walk from the hotel. Go there and be simple and relax. . Be part of Vietnamese culture for 10-15 minutes. When next I visit Bien Hoa I will for sure choose again Aurora as my hotel to stay. They made my stay there very comfortable and stress free. -An Excellent place for you to come in and relax. The hotel is really good, convenient, comfortable. Especially, the water is super clean,( like pictures)&they have many water games - Khách sạn tốt, sạch sẽ, đầy đủ tiện nghi( nên hỏi nhân viên cách sử dung cái điều khiển máy lạnh, nếu kb xài thì nó làm lạnh chậm lắm), rất đáng tiền có điều nên lắp thêm quạt thì sẽ dễ chịu hơn, cảnh đẹp, nước trong thấy đáy như trong hình nha, khu này rộng đẹp rất nhiều các tiểu cảnh cho những bạn thích sống ảo, nhiều trò chơi bao đã nói chung phải chịu chi xíu tầm 200k đổ lại cho 2 người là vui rồi. Ăn sang free vs Mì xào hơi chán nhưng cũng được. Buổi tối mách nhỏ các bạn đi 4km ra quốc lộ lượn ngắm đường phố thích lắm, ghẹo phả đi một chút sẽ thấy quán Pizza Lò Củi ngon lắm( chi phí cỡ 100k), sau đó các bạn đi thẳng chút lên ủy ban huyện Tân Phú, vào khúc đường Nguyễn Tất Thành, quá chời chỗ ăn vặt, vui chơi tụi mình ở đây uống trà sữa rồi ăn ở quán tên là MOON1 chuyên món Hàn, rất ngon(<200k).

If you expect a 5* Hotel with pool and party you are at the wrong place. This Lodge is directly in the rain forest. Our room was with A/C / fridge and hot shower. We chose a trip trough the jungle and where guided by two biologists who run the lodge during their master thesis. Best guided tour ever. They tell you everything about the spiders and snakes and it’s easier to find those rare animals with their help. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the lodge to all who want to unwind and be closer to nature.

Situated on the bank of Dong Nai River, just opposite the entrance of the park. You are almost in the heart of the jungle with facilities to match! The staff can only speak and understand a little bit of English but will make every effort to ensure your comfort. Breakfast is included in the lodging cost, but the lodge has an extensive menu to choose lunch and dinner from, at a reasonable price. The lodge offers tours into the park as well as transportation to destinations like Da Lat and Mekong Delta. It was a very pleasant and adventure filled time at Green Bamboo lodge and definitely recommended. As a word of warning bring a lot of mosquito repellent and don't come expecting a warm shower.

I live in Ho Chi Minh City, and wanted to get away for the weekend, but not travel too far. I read some reviews of the Diamond Hotel before booking on Agoda. I'd read some complaints, one of which was that it was ''too quiet''., which for me what its main draw!!! I was not disappointed!! I found the places quite easily, riding by motorbike from Saigon. The check in was very prompt, and I was lead to a small villa room next to the pool / garden area. The aircon was not working so well, so the staff quickly changed me to a new room, also by the pool. The place is so quiet, it's why I loved it, and the design of the pool garden area is lovely. The nearby street offers some small stores / and small market, sellling water, fruits and other snacks. The hotel is near a railway line, but to be honest, I heard none of the trains. This place was so relaxing. When you book a room with 'breakfast included' you will get the traditional Vietnamese bread with fried egg, with a side of tomato / cucumber., which was enough for me. If you would like a larger breakfast, you can order from the menu, for a small extra charge. This place was so relaxing, and it will become my new escape for weekends out of Saigon! Thanks Diamond, I had a great stay!!! I'll be back!

The bathroom odor is not good, the villa has four rooms in one area, thus if have four friend or golf buddy would be good, we share with other person which has his personal things in the common area. For breakfast, can only have one coffee, the other one would cost money, breakfast is made to order and little portion. When we left, we were stopped at the gate and have to return to reception to sign the receipt which cause us loss of time (45 mins) and our customer appointment was lost. would not return to this hotel due to service is not their top priority.

Coming from a dry climate the heat and nonstop humidity was challenging. The rooms were equipped with fans but if I knew in advance how the climate would feel I would have made sure to find a room with air con. The cool pool on site was a life saver and awesome surprise. Restaurant had the best coffee of our two week trip and the staff was amazingly sweet and accommodating. The room was rustic to be sure, but for that type of lodging it couldn’t be beat.

If you are looking for a lodge that is beautiful, close to nature, and affordable. This is likely the best lodge you can find in Nam Cat Tien. 1. Spirit Garden's location is very close to the National Park. 2. The room has its own private balcony that views down to the river. The room has all the amenities that you will need. 3. Mr. Quoc (the Guesthouse's owner) is very friendly and helpful & all guests are welcomed with a cold drink. They will help you with all your needs & ensure your stay is most pleasant. Spirit Garden has become our favorite place to get away from Sai Gon. Highly recommended! Quang

We arrived rather late in the evening and in the neighbourhood aren't many restaurants. We went to a few streetside stalls at the main junction, less then 100 yards away. The urinal didn't seem to be connected to water to flush. The bath plug was also not functioning. We got changed to another room, without urinal but with a bath plug. However in this room the TV could only show images in yellow. We didn't bother to complain. They took good care of our motorcycle (called us for loads of details, before handing it to the owner of the bike, when he came to collect it after our stay). Wifi was good. In the mornings we went to the market and the nearby food outlets as well as visited the Dong Nai riverside. It wasn't perhaps the best place we stayed at in Bien Hoa, but price and location make up for a lot.

The Lu Khach Quan guesthouse can be highly recommended. It may not be located in the heart of a touristic centre, as Bien Hoa is very much an industrial and commercial city, but you will get the vibe of the real Vietnam. I spent there a few memorable days, the owner Sang and his family will go out of their ways to guarantee you an interesting homestay. In the vicinity of the city he offers several one and half day trips in the rural and semi rural areas. On the rooftop you have a nice view and breeze and there I enioyed some of the best Vietnamese food I have ever eaten. What I found fascinating was the the fact that I could count nine Catholic churches from there and there are dozens more. This part of the city must be the most Chistian area in Vietnam, I guess, and it was interesting to talk with Sang about the Vietnamese breed of Catholicism. It is worthwile to visit a Catholic mass, they offer them as early as 5 am! A guided tour to the market with an eager English student, followed by a Vietnamese cooking lesson with the owner’s sister is also a worthwile experience. So if you have time to spend a few days away from the normal tourists’ path, it might add value to your stay in Vietnam.

Only planned to stay for one night, but quickly changed it to two, as it was all our time budget could afford. Super friendly staff, that makes that extra effort for you, to feel the most comfy. Received a lovely welcome drink at check in. The bamboo hut was super nice! Very cozy, ok bed, and our hut had a Terrasse right on the river. Very beautiful place to chill in the hammock they also provided. The included breakfast was ok, and came with a drink after choice. - smoothie, coffee, juice etc. The restaurant was pretty good and had very reasonable prices. Location is perfect to explore all the tours that are available in the area, as there is a bear/monkey sanctuary at the other side of the river, along with the national park. A few cons: - the bamboo hut was with very thin walls, so you can hear all the other visitors, which in our case wasn’t a problem at all, since all were acting respectfully. As you can hear the noises from the jungle as well, it’s actually a pretty nice experience. The gibbons in the jungle started to sing around 6 in the morning which I would say, is definitely an experience worth waking up for. - roosters.. not only the gibbons like to sing in the morning. There is chicken walking about the area freely, which is very nice until a rooster decides to sit 2 meters away from your bed, behind the thin walls and scream at the top of its lungs at 5,30. - Bathroom was not super good. Very primitive plumbing, but there was hot water, which is nice. I would definitely recommend this stay! Especially if you like being close to nature. Beautiful and cozy.

I loved my stay here. Only problem I had was getting hot water for shower. Also TV might be handy just to catch up on the news of the world. I really wanted to see some monkeys or gibbons. Despite starting off early as recommended I never saw any. When I was there I could hear plenty of gibbons. I still enjoyed a guided tour, 400,000 dong, for a 4 or 5 hour , 7 km trek through the jungle. The plant life and trees were very interesting as well as the insects. I will return to Cat Tien national park if only for the peace and tranquility. Last but not least, I must thank Luan of Green Hope Lodge and his mother. Lovely people. Luan knows English very well and he is so helpful with whatever you need. I would return there but I like to review different places for now.

We LOVED our stay. Even though we stayed at the Farm Stay (5 minute bike ride from the park entrance) we were able to enjoy the facities at the Jungle Stay lodge which is owned by the same poeple. The staff were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful, dispite us making last minute changes. Breakfast was delicious. Rustic stay that was authentic and relaxing. We were birdwatching so the only thing is that we could only get into the park after 7, but that is nothing to do with the lodge. Highly recommended!

We are loving and missing Orchard Home so much after comback home from Orchard! We miss each lovely side walk in the resort with a lot of tiny yellow flowers on green grass. We love the nature of the resort with vegetable & fruit gardens, lotus and water lily pool, midefull river around villas... Staffs here are lovely, friendly and beutifull. That is a great place which you should visit.

The family that runs it truly encompasses the ideal behind what a home stay is supposed to be. The bungalows where super cozy and the WiFi was strong. The AC worked perfectly. Co and his wife Hien (hope I spelt it right) truly made me feel welcomed and at home. They set up some awesome tours starting with the nighttime safari, then the morning gibbon tour where we went into the forest before sunrise to watch the gibbons as they awoke. From there I was taken to the gibbon sanctuary and then on the sunset boat tour where Co expertly spotted wildlife. He is passionate about his work and the national park. Back at the home stay the food was exquisite and super fresh. I was invited for lunch with the family twice and was never disappointed. I was even taken to the local fair where we talked and watched the kids have fun. I really wanted an extended luggage rack for my bike and had asked Co if he knew where I could buy one, before my stay was over he had a welder come and make me one.

Stayed here for one night. Map location was not correct online, so had to ask locals, but found the place on Google Maps. The hotel looks a bit old from outside, but when getting inside, the rooms were very modern, spacious and clean. Aircon worked well, as did TV, with local and foreign channels. If you need something in the city centre, maybe this is not the place for you, as it's a bit far from Vincom etc, but it's not too far from the Big C Shopping Mall. If you have your own motorbike, it's ok, otherwise you'd need to get a taxi into the city centre. For the price, I was very happy with the stay, especially the modern, spacious and clean feel of the rooms. It wasn't noisy, so slept well. When we left, we forgot a jacket in the closet....we called staff and they kept it for us, so we picked it up. They had wrapped it up for us. Good service!
