Where to stay in Hoa Binh Province
Hoa Binh Province hotels & accommodations

The resort is in great location, good view to Hoa Binh reservoir, very fresh air, nice houses with traditional architect characters. Staffs are very friendly but slowly response to your request. Food/restaurant and breakfast are so so... kayaking was lovely.

Very pleasant. It is set in a beautiful location - fabulous views and great places to ride/walk to. The transfer to Mai Chau and back to Hanoi was strenuous and longer than we had expected. The room was great although little thnigs let it down - broken ceiling fan cord so couldn't change speed; bar fridge that turned on noisily in the middle of the night; verandah view...

I arrived at Mai Chau Lodge with modest expectations, so I was overjoyed by the hotel's beautiful lobby, and my room with view of mountains and shimmering lake. Every morning delicious breakfast was served in a gorgeous dining room, and I took a bike ride by the green rice fields of the valley, and swam in the hotel's refreshing pool. Best of all, the hotel staff memb...

This resort is a perfect destination for both young and old couple seeking to escape Hanoi for one or two days. It has one of the best customer services that I have experienced in the northern region. The rooms are cozy, food is excellent. The bike route is also relaxing as you get to ride around town and enjoy the rice field landscape

Thank Mr.Hung for my wonderful experience in Mai Chau. I am so glad that I took his advice and booked the pick up service from Hanoi since the hotel is quite a distance away from the town center, locating in a small village and surrounded by mountains and rice-paddy field. That's why the hotel is perfect for relaxation and ideal to explore the untouched culture. I love...

I had a perfect time at Sol Bungalows. Highly recommended this place to those who want a relaxed vacation in Mai Chau. I had the best view from my room (Room 7). Relaxed atmosphere, really helpful staff, clean room. If there is anything i could change to improve the place then it would be the food (which tastes very average to me) and the mattress (could be due to pers...

Everything was good so far : the service was excellent (English speaking), the room was very clean with all you need. The food is delicious (they do set menu with several small dishes). Will recommend !! The best is the view on the rice fields when you wake up!

A good stay for all people who don't want to do homestays but still wanna get this kind of feeling. The hotel is run by a local family and the restaurant is at their house right across the street. Is's located in a small village outside of mai chau. The staff is nice and welcoming. I wanna thank especially Binh. She made our stay special...

This place was just great and Lim was just as great, and speak sufficient English. Nice room, well maintained and the best bathroom I have seen in Southeast Asia for this class of accommodation. Style-wise, the place is on the rustic side, but everything is tastefully done and super clean. She definitely puts a lot of attention to detail which makes this place charmin...

This is a classic Vietnamese regional hotel where communication and some of the facilities go into meltdown when customers arrive. There were few staff for a large hotel. It appeared that only a few of the rooms were being used, so it felt like a ghost hotel. We were told that it is a private business, not a govt hotel. The man at the desk had no record of our booking...

This family owned bungalow hotel is just what I was looking for. Peaceful, very friendly staff (ask for So'n), beautiful view, impressive swimming pool, hotel is new (only 6 months open), rooms are perfect, food was great (order 2h in advance), ... what did I forget ? Oh yeah, our little 5 y old received a local craft work as present. Many many thanks. Mai Chau i...

I arrived late, the host was so nice to wake up and welcome me to Mai Chau. The location is minutes away from the main road. Its still in the middle of the paddy field. And 200 metres walk to the local village. The breakfast was fresh fruits, vietnamese coffee, fried eggs, toasted baguette and spreadable cheese & Jam on the side. The toilets are plentiful

The hotel is beautifully situated just outside Hoa binh, if you have a 'riverside view' you will be overlooking the paddy fields and mountains which are very beautiful. If you travel alone and not with an organised group you are left to find your own way thru, which isn't too difficult but a welcome information sheet would be very helpful. The food was always good and...

I hadn't stayed here before, but was impressed by the reviews. It exceeded my expectations. By a long way. Our stay was exceptional. My friends and I arrived on a freezing cold day, wet through after cycling from Hoa Binh. Immediately the owner and staff appeared with hot towels and heaters. They had also warmed our rooms and turned on the hot water two hours before we...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the lofted room 15. it was spacious, quiet, and dark at night. Best sleep all trip! We awoke to beautiful vistas of the surrounding mountains. Staff was extremely helpful and the free bike rentals made checking out the villages a breeze! The staff arranged for a golf 'taxi' cart to pick us up and drop us off at the bus stop. Very helpful.

This place is just set in the middle of some rice fields - surrounded by mountains and filled with warm and welcoming people. The view from our balcony was simply beautiful - the food was delicious. For 100.000 you get to eat their fresh cooked food together with other guests. Mai Chau at the weekend fills up with Vietnamese tourists which makes it a good place for soc...

We were offered the delux double room upon arrival and it was amazing. Beautiful views of misty mountain tops and rice paddies in the breeze. Has a porch and your own bathroom too. Also the food they offer is great. They cook you local food but they also know things like westerners don’t like eating bones in their fish ;) a bit of a rarity in this beautiful country. Ev...

Booked online and not sure the family knew we were coming, but they accommodated us perfectly when we arrived. Beautiful location and house! The second night they made a delicious dinner for us which was reasonably priced; it seems they may have done this the first night if we had gotten in before they went to the market in the afternoon. While the family's English was...

We stayed there for 4 nights! It was the best experience in our trip to Vietnam. The family there is so so nice, kind and caring. The room are spot on and the view is something no other place can compete with. The breakfast is really good! I really recommend this place!

I had the relax holiday with my family and friend. The Mai Chau's landscape is very nice and peace. The Mai Chau's people is friendly. The Ecolodge's room is comfortful, the swimming pool is clean. However, we have a uncomfortable problem with the mosquito net on the bed, please replace it by a square mosquito net. Besides, if possible, the Ecolodge should build an are...
