Ibaraki Prefecture hotels & accommodations

Nice room overlooking the park. Had a lovely breakfast at the cafe downstairs for a great price. The best point was that I was attending a convention at the Okura Frontier hotel near the station but they had no more single rooms so I booked a room at the Epochal. When I told the staff at the Epochal they called to the other hotel and after the Saturday night dinner and...

The hotel is just located next to Mito Station. The staff speaks fluent English. Bottled water is free of charge in both on the table and in the fridge. Room price is out of expectedly cheap with nice room and breakfast. Recommendation is a must.

Hello! Greetings! What really stood out for me during my stay was, i booked in agoda and put in the comment section that we are staying for the Birthday of my husband and if they could prepare a card or something to greet him a Happy Birthday in the room. I was not expecting for it because i know as a previous hotelier how busy hotels are to prepare such a personalize...

The hotel is located only 5 minutes away from Mito Station. It's new and the room is of reasonable size. Coffee is free flow for hotel guests from the coffee machine in front of the reception area. Staff are generally nice, especially the younger staff. It's definitely an ideal hotel to stay if one visits Ibaraki or Mito during sakura season as the hotel is near Sakura...

The hotel is a 15 mins walk from Tsuchiura train station, or a 730yen taxi ride. the hotel is well known for the friendly cab drivers. The front desk staff can speak simple English and is very friendly. Hotel wifi is good throughout the stay and very consistent. Breakfast is simple traditional Japanese style. If you decide to venture out, there are good restaurants a...

I was driving so its remoteness from train stations did not matter to me. But I think they have a shuttle bus. The room comes with a small balcony, and the room is quite spacious, probably because it is not in an urban district. They have a hotspring for free. I am not aware there is any natural hot spring source nearby and I suspect the water is artificial. But t...

The space was small but good enough to fit if you're travelling solo. A good 8-10 minute walk from the station with a 711 nearby so the location is pretty good. Had no problems with the room and thought it's pretty good given its price. Staff are very nice and try their best to communicate in English.

Smile Mito was exactly the kind of hotel I needed: a cheap place to leave my luggage while I explored the area, and a place to sleep. The room isn't large, but I didn't need it to be. The hotel is about a five minute walk away from Mito JR Station, which is itself part of a larger shopping center/food court/cinema/arcade. The riverside/lakeside walking path right acros...

We stayed here because Tsukuba centre was booked out at the time - the standard of the hotel was comparable to those in the centre, and it was easy to take the train there as well as to Tokyo. Rooms have a good amount of space and a basic breakfast is provided. Check-in time is fairly late, at 4pm, but you can pay to check in earlier. Also has easy access to a mall and...

Our family stay here while visiting Hitachi seaside park. This hotel is new, clean and cozy. Even the room is small as same as others business hotel in Japan but it’s comfort and clean. Our kids love bunk bed room here and I was surprised that they can offer free breakfast with this affordable room rate.

The hotel was within walking distance (10-15 min) from Mito Station. The route was not too difficult - just head north from the station along the main road till you go past a post office and then turn left at the junction. The hotel name was clearly visible from the junction. If you come from the other direction, there's a huge banner proclaiming the location of the ho...

This place is a little off the beaten track. However, if you're just stopping over you'll have only a two minute walk from station and fast access to grocery stores etc. Can't complain about services provided in the hotel either. Laundry downstairs, internet cable in room and decent t.v.

We asked for wine glasses and they sent us crystals! The bath tub is a regular size american bath tub, bigger than regular Japanese tubs. Big room compared to the rest of hotels in the area. The bed was very comfortable (strong enough, not the soft over used ones) and the sheets were pure cotton tight and clean. Parking lot only 500¥ per night in a perfect location to ...

We stayed 3 nights in that interesting venue with traditional Japanese large and quiet bedrooms. The venue is in a nice city , a bit far from the seaside however the manager is very helpful and he drove us to any places , visiting touristic places and the beaches .We also rent bikes .And there are multiple leisure opportunities around . Employees are kindly devote...

Relatively inexpensive hotel with all the amenities such as free use of yukata (Japanese bathrobe), free coffee, free unused slippers that you can take home, free use of bicycle, etc. The shower area is a bit small though. It is walking distance to the Tsukuba International Congress Center, and a bit farther to the train station and bus terminal. If you do take a taxi ...
