Jalisco State hotels & accommodations

Secrets is run by fantastic staff members, they are all so helpful, The restaurants are excellent the pools and bars are well kept and the drinks just keep on coming. I fully recommend Secrets, I will continue Booking my vacations at all the different Secrets Resorts locations.

Shows were pretty amazing (especially the Michael Jackson show!!) Hotel was well kept (I think I recall hearing that this place is only 3 years old?) and the room was very clean—this being my 4th time at a hotel in PV and the only time I wasn’t grossed out by something in the room. Food options were nice. Bar selection was ok—best in the lobby bar but definitely don’...

I received an excellent discounted rate making the stay here extremely good value. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very clean. This hotel is an 5 minute walk from the airport. The marina with good restaurants is another 5 minute walk away. The cost of a taxi to old town is about 120 pesos each way.

A very clean and comfortable hotel with an amazing breakfast. The staff are incredibly hospitable and kind, but most do not speak English (best to rehearse a few sentences in Spanish if your not fluent). Only thing missing in this hotel is a pool, then it would easily be a 5 star.

I stayed for just one night with my 18 and 20 year old daughters since our cruise ported overnight in PV. So so so glad that we jumped ship and got a little beach time. The property was beautiful, drinks plentiful, food awesome (including fresh OJ and cappuccinos!) , and staff incredibly friendly. We were so sad to leave. I would definitely stay at the resort again, a...

Staff was very professional, spoke English well, catered to every need. Hotel was like new, rooms very comfortable, they have 2 queen bedrooms which are great for those with kids. Outdoor terrace on the ground floor a nice place to relax. Has a bar open till midnight most nights. Highly recommend, it's what you'd expect from a Hilton at a more affordable price.

Very nice hotel, opposite of the Expo, little outside the city. Good gym, staff is friendly, hotel is brand new and the breakfast is very good. Only two downsides, if you may call it that, is that there is no pool. Also, because of the remote location, there are no restaurants in the neighborhood.

First time going my to Mexico and it was better than I imagined. The hotel was beautiful as advertised and we liked both the Infiniti pool by the beach and by the mountain where you can see the spectacular view of the ocean and mountain. We also enjoyed the restaurants and were reasonably priced. We both enjoyed Hiroshi and had amazing food while watching the sunset....

A nice enough hotel with a nice beachfront. Staff were all very nice and the food choices are good. A bit too lively if you are looking just to relax. Agoda advertise free wifi in all rooms, but when we got there they say its only in certain parts of the hotel. We stayed on 17th floor which has amazing views over the pacific.

The only regret I had was Im not staying the whole time during my visit in Guadalajara. Stay here for the last night, found out that this hotel is absolutely the best value for money. Very economical, nicely located in centro historico, and everything is free! Wifi, Minibar etc. Will stay here again next time

This hotel is a lovely, quiet oasis in Ajijic, with a view of the lake and mountains. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a large glass shower facing the outdoor veranda. It's a bit of a walk to town to get dinner or lunch, about 8-10 minutes, crossing over the busy main road. The Malecon is a pleasant stroll in the morning and at sunset along the la...

We were very pleased with our stay. Location could not be better for access to historic center and dining options. Though we didn't use the pool (a bit too chilly) it looks beautiful, surrounded by palms and a lush lawn. The adjacent restaurant and bar are very good indeed, and the staff is both competent and kind. We found our room a bit noisy because the children of ...

If you are like my wife and I and you want to enjoy the almost real Mexican life I say almost because they would still clean the room bring fresh towels and make the bed every day plus ant Martha's would make the breakfasts .From the front and the surrounding areas doesn't look like much but inside very nice decor very clean and very relaxing with the sound of...

Catering to both business and leisure travelers, the location of this hotel is only a short walk from the central square and other tourist attractions. The non-smoking property has 10 floors with nice views on account of the large windows. The 2 elevators are large and fast, so getting up and down is easy. The modern interiors are very tasteful, and everything seems...

we had a wonderful stay. Cesar the Caretaker was helpful and welcoming and had good local knowledge which he was happy to share. The hotel is a taxi ride from town, but so worth it for the views. Not suitable if you are into the nightlife etc, but taxis are cheap and the views and quiet are worth while. There is a large hotel next door if you don't want to use the kitc...

This hotel looks very good and is new and modern in design. However the modern design makes it seem a bit cold and stark. The small three storey atrium design makes sound from everywhere carry and therefore the rooms are a bit noisy. Especially on the ground floor where I could hear everyone in reception whilst in my room. The room is nice, the beds comfortable, t...

Many good basics; however, some problems arose such as toilet not flushing property, weak wi-fi, restaurant closed on Sunday afternoon evening. Good sized room. Great chairs! No other restaurants for other shops open nearby. Quiet. Pool was not very warm.

The problem I had was with you Agoda, your confirmation of my reservation had a terrible mistake, When I arrived at the hotel, it said that my reservation was made one day before, so they didn't want to respect the one I did with you. Supposedly I should arrived one day before.

I was very upset at the moment I was told that I had to pay 829 pesos instead of the 697 pesos I was told I had to pay on the app of agoda. I had no where to send an email to about this problem. Also the internet service was really bad. The bathroom had and awful smell that wouldn't go away. They didn't even have the continental breakfast they had announced there!!

We loved the traditional feel to the resort, so even though we had many options we stuck with the Krystal. They went above and beyond on more than one occasion for us which we were very happy about. Any questions that we had, our buddy Abel up front was more than happy to assist with answering or finding an answer for us, and we had many because we were hoping all arou...
Cheap places to stay in Jalisco State

We booked for two nights but ended up staying for a whole week! The family running the place is absolutely amazing! They went out of their ways to make us feel at home. They are all super friendly, helpful and so much more. The place is super clean and within walking distance to restaurants, cafes and bars. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking ...

The hotel layout is lovely, with the indoor patio. It gets noisy though being in the center, and next to a church that calls to mass with loud bells at early hours. I didn't try the breakfast or restaurant, since there were so many choices available around for delicious Mexican food. The staff was very accommodating as well. Unfortunately I didnt make use of the pool i...

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city. I found it quite aesthetically appealing. The old fashioned lift is very slow but I think this was more than offset by its quaint charm, so keeping it is probably a wise choice--it's not like the building is that tall anyway. One thing I would caution potential guests about: noise is omnipresent in downtown GD...

Great breakfast in the hotel restaurant, close to numerous restaurants (local and chain), shopping mall nearby.......overall, a great value for the stay. The room decor could use an upgrade, the beds are a little hard but it had a nice pool and easy access to everything that you need nearby.

I rented 2 rooms, one of them smelled really bad (they had to run the water to aliviate the smell), beds were not as comfortable, the pool was not clean. The entire place is very old, I could tell the place once was lovely, but no repairs have been done, there even is mole on the walls, I mean the place held up for 2 nights, if you're only going to sleep and not reall...

For those who want to stay at a budget hotel in the centre of Guadalajara, this is a good choice. The hotel (which is actually called Aranzazu Eco Hotel) is popular with Mexican families and groups nad actually has a small, clean, usable swimming pool. The big question is whether to stay in central Guadalajara. Ignore Lonely Planet´s assessment, the city is dirty and...

This place was just a OK stay. I'm not a picky customer. This is not really a hotel but a complex with apartments they rent out. A nice guy named Ricardo waited as promised at the front door to hand me the keys and giving me a brief instruction of the apartment. Then he left and I was on my own. For questions I should email him. Room was clean bed was so and so comfor...

Clean, nicely appointed room. Drapes did not function very well. Surprised when we had to pay for toothpaste we had forgotten. For the price of the room you would think they would glady give us some free as other hotels do in the U.S. Bathroom was too small but at least we had plenty of hot water. I write this review as I compare to other hotel rooms I've occupied...

We had a nice relaxing stay at this modern, and architecturally interesting, hotel in Guadalajara. Reception very service minded and kind enough to give us a room on 22nd floor with a gorgeous view over the city landscape. The room was spacious, with all facilities you might need, and decorated in a beautiful modern style. A nice shopping mall with several restaurant n...

We were very satisfied with that hotel, that hotel has a charm, nice stuff, very nice breakfast, beautiful courtyard, old architecture, old style rooms. I would recommend that for someone who doesn't want to spend so much money and live in nice and spacious room....It' s also good located, right inside a center. Pavel.

A very beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms. It is very tastefully decorated and oozes Mexican art charm. Rooms are clean and hot water was perfect in the shower. The breakfast is also a great option. Overall, great stay. My only feedback is, I did notify of early arrival in the special request and requested them to communicate with me on my options but I never hea...

The staff here are friendly, bit too much of a push initially from the time-share side of things. The rooms are comfortable, the balconies are poorly set up and they need a fan in the bathrooms. Maid service was inconsistent, gardens and outdoor facilities were beautiful and well maintained. Annoying to have wi-fi only in the lobby.

Staff was helpful but did not speak english well. The hotel does not accept credit cards even though Agoda took my card for the reservation. We had to go to an ATM every day to pay in cash for each night. It was really a pain and inconvenient. Because of this, I would not stay there again.

We both were disappointed in this hotel. The location is excellent the rooms were spacious. The bathroom area was great, separate toilet, shower, and vanity set-up. The drawbacks, the hotel is dirty, everywhere from the main lobby with 1/4 inch dust along the marble baseboards, to the hallways. The room had hair on the floors so much that I had to take it off the ...

A gorgeous boutique hotel in a good area. It looks amazing. Very comfortable well decorated room, lovely bed, good shower, small bathroom. Missed opportunity with up selling in cafe, bar and restaurant so best to eat and drink elsewhere, staff indifferent to client’s requirements. But the rooms are awesome.

I rented 2 rooms, one of them smelled really bad (they had to run the water to aliviate the smell), beds were not as comfortable, the pool was not clean. This is the sweetest bed and breakfast. Staff was so helpful and there is a bar... Breakfast was free and it was wonderful, fresh fruit, coffee, orange juice, cereal, toast, yogurt.... very nice for a hard day of shopping. Shops are just down the street and restaurants within blocks...We had the nicest stay...

This condo is the smalles of the V development group in PV which have some of the best new properties period. Of the V group buildings, this one is the smallest and most intimate. I had the rooftop pool area to myself for a couple of days. Very convenient to restaraunts, bars and shopping and just a block from the beach.

This place is gorgeous and Martha is a perfect host. Our room was beautiful and we had amazing views out our windows. We could look out at the courtyard with the fruit trees, coffee plants, flowers and birds or in the other direction at vast, picturesque landscapes and hear and see the rushing creek. It's a perfect location to the plaza and all of San Sebastián. We...
