Kochi Prefecture hotels & accommodations

7days hotel plus is in wonderful condition with a great staff. the location is within easy walking distance to shopping, and kochi castle (20 minutes approximately). hotel is a little far to walk to kochi station, but is quick ride by taxi. continental breakfast is included.

This Hotel is located in between Kochi JR station and Kochi Castle. There is a food street nearby the hotel. Also, not so far distance to hirome market. The 3 beds room is so spacious and made our stay be very comfortable. We will stay at this hotel on our next trip to Kochi.

Friendly reception staff. Boutique like hotel located just outside of the CBD of Kochi. Kochi is a pretty compact city so location is still pretty convenient and most places would be only a short walk. We drove into Kochi so the free parking is a good perk. The hotel has some bikes for guests to use for free which was great to get around quickly. Rooms are VERY com...

The hotel staff members were excellent and the best part about the stay. Siya (sp?) spoke excellent English and was especially helpful. The tatami room was lovely and the hotel's location near Kochi Castle excellent. The restaurant and coffeeshop were not particularly memorable, however, and the beautiful picture on Agoda makes the hotel look much more picturesque tha...

A bit clumpsy in locating the hotel and needed the assistance of hotel staff to identify the carpark. Some directions in English woild help. Hotel staff very forthcoming. Spacious room and great view of the river. Just a10-minute walk across the river to the centre of the town. Hotel staff very forthcoming. Great value for money.

The staff if very nice here, Although there are some problem to use English for communication, the staff try their best to help us during our stay. Their are only limited parking space below the hotel and you need to go to their 2nd car park with 2-3 minutes walk if the parking is full.

I had a great time at the Nikko. It's 10 minutes walk to shopping, 20 minute walk to the Kochi castle. It's in a quiet street. The room is spacious for a single person. It has a nespresso machine, room is cleaned daily and breakfast is so good. All in all, I had a great time at the Nikko.

I left my camera charger at Kochi Hotel and only found out when I was on my way to Oboke. The staff at Kochi Hotel was so thoughtful to arrange courier of my charger to Kotohira, which is my last stop of the trip. The breakfast was good. Location of the hotel is in the city centre. I would recommend this hotel.

Just 4-minute walk to JR Kochi Station. The interior design of the hotel is modest. The room is clean. What really impresses me would be its breakfast. There are four to five types of breakfast, in both Japanese and Western style. One can have a full breakfast at a price as little as ¥200!!!! It comes with eggs, ham, salad, spaghetti, toasts, miso soup and juice/coffee...

Had just stay in this hotel for six days (Oct 2016) Staffs are really nice and helpful, although not everyone understanding English, they just try very hard to explain everything and help us allot Tidy and clean room Amazing river Got few nice restaurant around If you are looking for a relaxing, slow journey, this is the hotel Not only people in hotel, people aro...

Spent 2 nights there and surprisingly impressed by the top quality of services that the hosts provided to clients. For example, I don’t eat fried fish and the host help provide alternative course for breakfast. Besides, it appears to me that the hosts are very attentive to details, and top quality of facilities, decor and furniture are used. The view of the accommodat...

Saw many turtles while fishing, also sharks bigger than a person swimming as close as the tip of the fishing rod and will chase and grab the fish on hook, before dusk they started jumping on the prey a couple of meters right up front, scary yet amazing! hotel maintained a paved trail leading to the rocky fishing points, a Iso (Japanese rock fishing) paradise! Plenty of...

This hotel is very recommendable for all tourists in Kochi, Japan. Quite near for the sightseeing places in Kochi city, like Kochi castle, Sunday Morning Market and some historical places there. The hotel was renovated few years ago, and the rooms are bit small, but it experienced a good renovation by the several talented artists and designers. The hotel was reborn a...

I have stayed at this hotel several times now. The first time was four years ago, and the place felt so fresh and different with its contemporary decor and wider than usual rooms and bathrooms that I thought the special deal I received was due to the fact the place was new. Years later, this hotel still feels so much better than any standard Japanese hotel in this cate...

this hotel had you right next to everything of interest in the city, with the castle being on top of the list, of course. a short, straight walk from the station and you were already at the hotel, which was very much appreciated after a day of traveling. the staff in the reception were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. the hotel also had a conbini ...

I stayed at this hotel for two nights while walking the Shikoku Henro pilgrimage. I was pleasantly surprised by my room. It was a typical Japanese room - i.e. fairly narrow and with a plastic molded bathroom, but it was clean, reasonably comfortable and pleasant. The view from my room was of the lovely Sukumo countryside with rice paddies and mountains in the backgroun...

At first, we had hesitation of booking the hotel as it was far away from the JR Kochi Station. However, we could take the tram free with our Shikoku Rail Pass and enjoy a city tour of Kochi on the way. And we could start to visit the Kochi Castle immediately after check-in the hotel.
Cheap places to stay in Kochi Prefecture

The guesthouse is near Harimayabashi and many restaurants nearby. Easy to access when you get a tram. I spent two nights there and I had a good sleep. The guesthouse is not big but they have anything you need. If I come to Kochi again, I will live in here.

Traditional Japanese small hostel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and comfortable. Centrally located, big food market nearby. Only concern is the shared bathroom - male and female separated, but door cannot be locked and no individual shower rooms, so you need to share with other guests. Good way to experience Japanese traditions if you don't mind.

This is a nice, quiet place surrounded by nature. The food was excellent and the hotel seemed to have been recently refurbished. Unfortunately, the staff seemed taken aback by having to speak to foreigners (even though we both speak quite fluent Japanese) and were less than friendly. They used less polite Japanese to communicate with us than they did with the Japanese ...

I had read an unfavourable review about this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by how good it actually is. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom, while still small by western standards, was a good size and clean. Everything worked, including the aircon and wifi. The hotel is not very centrally located, but the tram stop...

Just a couple of blocks from the train station. A very nice hotel. WI-FI in all areas of the hotel. I had a tatami room with western low beds. The room came with shower. They have a public furo for those wanting to take a full bath and soaking in hot water. Breakfast was included in my plan. Great selections including made-to-order musubis. Only problem the mus...
