South-Holland hotels & accommodations

This is really absolutely a great hotel. One (big) minor detail is that the hotel should get a liftboy/girl/jockey ASAP. There are only 3 elavators available for over more than 24 floors. Due the pandemic only 4 persons are aloud in the elavator, but people didn’t follow-up on this rule... the stairs where not on option (only available for emergency’s)... because me an...

I came here as a solo traveler in June 2017 to see the city of Rotterdam. I can say it was a nice place to stay. It was in a good location and it was not too far from the central station, so it was easy to get around without public transport if you wanted to. I do recommend renting a bicycle though, since it's the best way to get around in the Netherlands. My room it...

Air conditioning did not work, and it was horribly warm there. My husband and I were there for our first anniversary trip. The staff was nice enough to give us a cake and some nice deco on my bed. However, the aircon wasn't working properly, and we couldn't sleep well. Plus we paid peak surcharge due to King's Day - we left Holland on a negative note. :(

This is the nicest hotel with a motto of providing service to exceed your expectations.... and they did. It was my loves birthday when we arrived and I asked them if they could see about getting her some flowers. Normally that would be difficult but at 4:45 pm it was almost impossible. They did it and they were beautiful. The breakfast was superb and our room was d...

The front desk staff is exceptional in their friendly, efficient and professional demeanor and service! The room was quiet, very clean and well appointed. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was very good. Wifi signal was strong throughout the property and in room. The food for purchase and front lobby bar were very good as well. Highly recommend this hot...

The room is good size and the location is good. 10 mins to central station and few mins walk to tram station. Supermarket is just opposite the hotel. Shopping arena is also very close. The breakfast is a bit simple, but there is coffee, tea and fruit supply anytime of the day.

We have 20 people. my friend's experience is bad.Her experience is '' I live in The Student Hotel on July 16 to July 21. My son lost his backpack on bus but I found it on ilost website. I pay the 15 Euros to sent my backpack to the Student Hotel. The DHL sent the package to the Student Hotel on July 20. But your coworker made two mistakes to return my backage to the se...

this is an excellent hotel with good location, good service and scrumptious food. The room beds felt very comfortable and the interior designs are very modern. The breakfast there is so delicious and you can have so much for choice. People there are friendly and the services are very good. I like this hotel very much. Very Good!

We stayed in Mercure Den Haag Hotel for 5D4N. It was a wonderful stay, the rooms were huge and the bed too! We booked 2 connecting rooms - deluxe. Clean room with a heater as it was pretty cold during winter! The location of the hotel was superb. It was close to everything you need - from restaurants to malls to shops, even cinemas and dance theaters! A truly re...

Holiday Inn Rotterdam was able to upkeep the quality you expect from an international hotel chain. Convenient location, security(room access card operated lifts), it has a car park 20Euros per day, which is the cheapest in central area, besides, street parking is about 2 euros per hour and only operate with a credit card. We are on a road trip mainly around north-ha...

One of the best places to stay on a budget. Had a great time staying here. The staff were great and very helpful. They were also very informative. The location is perfect. Would stay here again. Would give it a perfect score but don't know how to rate the food since I didn't eat.

My wife and I along with our two young children recently stayed at the hotel on a short break over the UK bank holiday weekend to visit Amsterdam and Keukenhof Gardens. We found the staff to be most courteous and helpful, and the facilities in the hotel were ideal for us. There was plenty of space for the children to run about (and play on the bouncy castle) and the lo...

Really good value for money. We were able to book the place on sale and it was completely worth it to stay here for 1 night for the Hauge. My only wish was we could have stayed for longer as the museum is right beside the place and we just didn't have time to go. Everything inside the room worked. What was just inconvenient was that the TV, although a Smart TV, wouldn...

Lovely hotel overlooked an old waterway close to Rotterdam Blaak station and the Market Hall. Rooms are clean and simple with no fuss. Staff were fantastic and always went the extra mile to satisfy our needs, usually for warming up baby food or hot milk. Always happy and smiling and with great local knowledge and tips. Personally, we didn’t take the breakfast as there ...

We loved the hotel. It was clean, nice beds, balcony. Smack on the beach. Walk down and down the stairs and you have arrived. I loved that beach because its much quieter than Scheveningen and on the left one can nake walks in the dunes. Breakfast was the most elaborate I ever had in a Dutch hotel. Next time I wld book a seaview room. Did not like the roomspray; hope th...

For its design, the cube-shape building is really amazing, so is the view over the irregular window frame. My room can see the old bridge and the river. Walking down the stairs, there is a plaza with day market on it and a large kanthal building with all kind of foods, flowers and goods in it. Over the other side of the stairs, there are coffee shops that you can enjoy...

I booked the hotel as I had to attend a family function in Gouda - the hotel is conveniently located near the highway exit in a semi-industrialized area. With a car, this is no limitation, however, without car the hotel is too far from town. The rooms were functional but very clean. Staff was very friendly and available to communicate in Dutch, German and English with ...

The hotel is outside the East end of the city and about 500 meters from the Metro station which is conveniently located across the street from a large a mall. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. This is a good deal in a good location away from the city, but easy to get to.

If you looking for the reasonable price of hotel near Rotterdam Central station, I strongly recommend the hotel. It just takes 10mins walk from Rotterdam central station. You can find more closest hotels near the station but I recommend this hotel since the price is reasonable and you can esily access the shopping center. Moreover, you can take breakfirst with warm an...

The hotel is located on the seafront and our decision about its choice was first of all based on the fact that it is presented with a sea view. Plus spacious, renovated rooms with great design. But de facto, the renovated wing - the sidepiece and has no view of the sea. In particular, the view from our rooms went out to the ring of the tram and bus lines.

Pros: I was a solo traveler for my visit to Rotterdam. The hotel was great. The staff were friendly. The location was quite centralized! I walked everywhere, never needing public transportation. Cons: For a five star hotel, the beds were terrible, especially if you have a bad back. They were way to soft and looked like something that would be purchased at Ikea. Forg...

This place was clean, friendly staff all around, and well organized operations. From the time I arrived to the time I left, everyone here was positive and accommodating. They have a nice bar, with a cozy atmosphere and serve good food/drink. Patio is unique, and there is an old vw bus you can stay in if you choose. The hostel sits between a grocery market and a few gre...

Pros: Next to the Markthal, has a good selection of restaurants nearby, rents bikes. Rooms are also generally clean, but the shower I had needed a bit of refurbishing. Cons: Parking is at best €15 a day if you bring a car, raising the price of this hotel up a star level effectively.

Pros - within walking distance to downtown and attractions - value for money considering breakfast is inclusive - friendly staff Cons - basic amenities. No hairdryer. But considering price paid, this hotel is still highly recommended for stay. It is after all categorised as 1 star but it’s much better than 1 Star.

Simply bed and breakfast. Receptionist is in 30 meters from rooms, there also happens breakfast, which is usual or continental (buffet). About 300 meters to beautiful beach of Scheveningen. Parkin near hotel is on the street and is free from 0-00 till 9-00, so I dropped my car in about 600m from hotel, where it was free until 13-00. The hotel is worth the money.

i stayed in hotel van walsum for 2 nights. i am very satisfied with my stay overall. the location is good, about 4 tram stops from the central station and is in a quite area, but close to the main shopping area and the attrations of rotterdam. the breakfast is also good and make a good start for the day. the wi-fi is free and the connection is good. rotterdam is sma...

Very nice hotel the owner Jan en his spouse Gabriela made our trip extra nice and give us full of attention. Rooms with nice view. Super fine shower and bathroom. The owners have put a lot of work in to their hotel. Really a good place to stay. Centre at 3 stops metro in the middle or the city. Delfshaven with many terraces and sights all around. Good luck to you Gab...

When we stayed at this hotel, we experienced good things, the location is easily reached by using a tram from Den Haag station. Our room can view to the road, where we can know the update weather and traffic down there. We feel like staying in our own house, the hotel owner who was also as a hotel employee is very kind and polite. We can have the breakfast like in our ...

We only stayed for one night but this hotel was definitely one of the best on our trip through several cities in Europe. From the very start we were treated in a very friendly way (spinning the wheel to receive a free gift at check-in was fun and quirky)! The room was a good size, very clean and comfortable, and the kitchenette was equipped with everything we needed ...

Unfortunately we were unable to have our original apartment as it required maintenance but we were offered an alternative room with compensatory breakfast. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Bustling restaurant but noise not heard in bedrooms. Nice central location.

We spent one night in the hotel. For the 80 EUR incl. breakfast it wasn´t such bad value. Free wifi, comfortable bed, nice shower, sea view. However, the heating didn´t really work. The one in the room was luke warm (even though turned up to max) and the one in the bathroom remained cold (even though also turned up to max). Fortunatelly we got provided with portable he...

It was so lovely to stay. For traveĺling on the hook van Holland ferry it's 30mins àway. And although it s not cĺose to town it was just nice to relax where I feel safe not only for myself but for my daughter. As a disabled person I could ask for more where rooms where accessible clean and lovely where the window shutter blinds came down to block out sun light and win...

This trip was a nightmare. I arrived from the UK on Friday for a 3 day cat show. I had printed the confirmation email so was not worried about anything. The show ran over late on that day, so I called the hotel to let them know I would be a bit late checking in. Imagine my shock when I was told they had no booking for me! I am a wheelchair user and my granddaughter, my...

It was a Saturday night and we were up till 6am in the morning before we slept. Very much to our surprise, as early as 9am on a Sunday morning, there were loud renovation noise all over the hotel. We were forced to wake up early on a Sunday morning and gave us headache for the whole Sunday! And when we went out of our room, we were surprised to see ALL the rooms bes...

We have stayed in the BB for 1 night only, and got a very pleasant night. The bathroom was not completely clean and no toiletries, but overall good value for money. Lot of free amenities available in the hotel and nearby. The only problem was the location of the reception, which is about 300m away.

Excellent accomodation Everybody of the staff was very hepful and polite Can only give the ss Rotterdam the highest recommendations Connection to Central Rotterdam is very good I used the watertaxi from the Rotterdam to the Veerhaven and from there by streetcar into the City All in all it took me only 20 minutes. It was a nice hotel with perfect location. There is a lot of restaurants cuisines within walking distance. Hotel surrounded by the beautiful river that has a port for cruises. Room size was sufficient and very nice floor to ceiling glass. In my opinion, because of bathroom has glass and can’t cover it ( ask the hotel if it possible) I recommend the hotel to couples. Br...

We enjoyed the stay in the Palace Hotel. The staff was helpful, the room (sea view+ balcony) was large snd clean, the bed very comfortable. The spa area had whirlpool and small swimming pool. Even in high season, not too many people occupied it. Breakfast buffet was good, but quite expensive. Very steep charges for parking, so we tried to find a spot outside the hotel....

Everything about the hotel was lovely...the location which is at the heart of the city center and Den Haag's historic attractions, the spacious room, its combination of historic and modern design, the huge and super comfy bed, the relaxing massage, the sumptuous breakfast, overall safety, and the very accommodating staff and crew. Will definitely come back and recommen...

The hotel is very far away from Amsterdam. I never stay in this hotel if I am not going for a business trip. Room is tidy. Staff are very polite and helpful. There is a bird park near the hotel.
