Idyllic”

This place is absolutely lovely. I could not have enjoyed it more. It felt remote but was really only a 20 to thirty minute ride into Hua Hin. I did go into town one night and am still wondering why I did. Sanae Beach Club is relaxing, serene and sophisticated. The staff will go out of their to make you feel appreciated and welcome. If you like night life, action, bright lights, a club scene or any of those things that wonderfully trashy beach towns, like South Beach, Ibiza or Sitges have, don't go to Sanae. Take a couple of good books, a bathing suit and plan to relax.

Spectacular property in stunning location”

We visit Hua Hin frequently and the Sanae is our "go-to" place. The hotel is just 11 km south of Hua Hin town, so it's convenient, and the beach is unspoiled and not crowded. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and peaceful. Sanae has a great menu, and it's reasonably priced. But, there are a few local businesses and shops on the soi outside, so you have some options for something different instead of going into town. But the thing that makes the property special are the owners and staff, who are focused on ensuring that your stay is excellent. We can't wait to go back.

Amazing beach, amazing hotel, amazing value”

Comfortable rooms located just a few steps from beautiful sandy beaches and a wonderful pool. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for everyone. This hotel is all about the location and seclusion. The beach is bracketed by two large rock formations, so that keeps it very private. You won't be able to go for a long run on the beach, however, due to mountains enclosing the beach on two sides. You will also probably want a car to get around Hua Hin, but the hotel does offer a nice shuttle service to/from Hua Hin every 30 minutes. This hotel was exactly what we were looking for, and was a great value for the money. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great place.

lovely, relaxing, joyful”

Me and my family stayed at Sanae for just one night, and we all loved the chill atmosphere of this hotel. Though the hotel was a bit away from Hua Hin downtown, the beach in front of the hotel and the lovely rooms really made us feel pleasant. The staff was helpful and really nice. We only stayed there for one night and didn't use their swimming pool, but will go there again and chill in the hotel and the beach for all of our stay and that will be awesome!

Nice place for resting and eating”

The food quality is the best, quiet expensive but worth it. Staff very friendly. Free transport to Hua Hin is great. Hotel conditions very good. Beach quite clean, although beach commerce next to the hotel makes it look ugly. The worst: Internet, having to use a different password for everyday, this is a hassle and have not sense in a place where you want to relax.

Beautiful ”

Great stay Check in was at 2 and they made us wait till 2.02 pm Maybe they had lots of late check outs that day but the blessing was we could use the pools, sun beds and restaurants Room great but just a tip if you book request not to get 808 as it’s next to staff area and you hear constant Thai banter the staff going In and out with goods etc and it’s also next to the kitchen and they leave the back foot open so while the room is nice if you wish to sit on the rooms porch it’s not as nice as other rooms but in saying this I would stay there again Staff were very helpful Especially the European female manager, sorry I made note of her name and then forgot it. She always checked in if every thing was ok and it seems she works 24 hours a day . Great asset to the team. Prices if drinks etc are well priced Massages are good and well priced But the massage hut needs a tidy up Floor dusty Bags of used drinks etc hanging around Highly recommend this resort

Excellent”

Would be almost perfect if not for the idiotic pricing on food and drinks , just state the price !! not small print plus vat and service charge . Chang DRAFT stated at 90bht is actually small bottle at 106bht . Buy it on the beach 80bht or local shop 40bht include vat n service .Needless to say resturant and bar dead at night as people head to town or stay room .You expect to pay more for drinks in this class of resort but why upset possible return customers by not stating the full price ??

Great for a short break”

Myself and my fiancé stayed here for a short break, at the same time as getting our pre-wedding photos done. Staff were hospitable and friendly. It has a chilled atmosphere. The room was fine, but you’re paying for proximity to the beach, which is great. I would say it was pricey for what you get, but the calm ambiance and beautiful scenery makes up for that.

Fantastic boutique hotel”

I believe this property is rated as three star, well it is the best three star hotel money can buy. The location is stunning on a secluded beach. The staff are very attentive to detail, pretty much what you would expect from a four or five stat hotel. Food at the restaurant was great. Room was nice, outdoor shower was a highlight. Very relaxing pool. One small complaint about the music playing at the restaurant for most of the day, it can interefere with the tranquility of the location. Amazing hotel.

Beverage knowledge and price”

My boyfriend ordered a jim beam priced at 220++ and he wants it with soda so we get charged extra 50 baht ++ which I believe 220++ should include a mixer. The staff served Jim beam in a short glass which i have to asked for a long glass with load of ice then i mixed by myself. This could be improved since we expected that a beach club should be well trained for the bar knowledge. Apart from this our stay at your resort was great.

Good”

Beautiful location, although the beach does fill up during the day. Nice rooms. Breakfast is ok. Dinner at the restaurant is not recommended and you’ll find a much better meal in Hua Hin. Also, bizarrely, the hotel only gives each guest a half litre of complimentary drinking water a day. Any more and you have to buy it from the bar. That’s pretty chintzy for a hotel at this price point.

Mixed experience”

The hotel is nice (room, facilities), the beach is great, the food is good, etc. Nothing to complain there. However, there are some cons: the club attracts additional day-visitors, the Wifi is slow, unstable (many logins necessary during the day) and burdensome (there is one in the room and one at the pool, but you have to manually logout from one in order to login to the other), an additional kids bed is supplied for THB 1000 a day (nowhere else in Thailand was I charged so much), the TV has no single foreign channel (only Thai). As mentioned above - a mixed experience.

Great small boutique resort on a private beach”

Everything was great. Small property but not crowded. Private beach, also not crowded. Pets friendly (selected rooms). Definitely great for those who want to bring their dogs. Staff were very friendly. They made a small mistake with our reservation but they took care of it in more ways than I would have asked for. Great customer service. The only thing they are missing in my opinion is a gym/fitness room. Would have been great to be able to exercise while staying there. ps. The massage lady working directly for the resort is really good!

We had a lovely weekend in this fabulous little hotel. Good food, very accommodating staff and manager, early morning taxi ordered seamlessly, lovely little beach. Only think was the AC in our room did not get very cool and the fan made a banging sound, so we didn't sleep very well!

Like private strand”

Beautiful almost private strand. Only 12 rooms in the hotel means that the club is never full. Only downside is the lack of Thai food in the restaurant.

This club is open for external guests and brings a pleasant vibe to the hotel. I like the set up and personal atmosphere with a limited number of rooms

Exceptional”

This is the best resort and hotel. Room is very clean and nice. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Beach is clean and nice. Love this place and will definitely return again soon.

Dog Welcome with 1,000 baht Fee. on a great location and great resort”

Pets Welcome is a plus on this place with 1,000 baht Fee. Great Location, almost private beach. The location is hidden away between two hills so not so many notices the entrance. The place is the only resort there on the beach. Great medium size resort style room with an impressive shower, indoor and outdoor showers to choose from. Great staffs, with warm welcome and service, super friendly and very helpful. Didn't try the pool but seem to be in good shape. Only one local restaurant on the place, a bit pricey, didn't try it. The internal restaurant serves delicious international meal also great Thai food, of cause, not a cheap meal. Not a walking distance to any others restaurant the nearest stores or restaurant is approx 5 km away. Great place for relaxing on a peaceful vacation.

Fell way short”

our 3rd trip here great/ok/not ok .. the beach has eroded away, barely enough room for the chairs.. the cushions are all tattered and some are moldy..... an outside beach (not from the hotel)restaurant takes up 1/2 of the ocean view p.s. their food is 5x better and less than 1/2 the price... hotel has a "very" limited offering for breakfast and does not start until 8am ... Sanae is now pet friendly and there are piles of pet p**p left on the grass areas..wow! the restaurant menu is over priced with the western menu coming in from left field and the Thai menu being a poor representation of the culture ,,the wait staff does not even know what they are serving if you attempt to go for a walk down the road, be prepared to be confronted by a dozen extremely aggressive soi dogs.....So what started out as a Gem has now fallen to a very low level...... I would imagine if they do not do a complete 360 the doors will close....soon

International teacher ”

I was traveling with a friend. I found the facilities very unique, casual, close to the beach and water, informal and unpretentious. I enjoyed it very much, unfortunately the weather was rainy several of our days there. But we were comfortable to lounge and read under a huge wonderful canopy. The sun did come out and the whole scene changed instantly! I enjoyed myself very much. When raining though the tv options were limited. Nice size tv though. The staff was helpful, friendly.
