Santa Cruz hotels & places to stay

Hotel staff from the security personnel, house keeping, concierge and reception, they were all warm and accommodating. we checked in to an executive suite and we can't help but to compare this to other casino hotels who charge double. at Winford you get enjoy high end rooms and 5-star service for an affordable price. my daughter loved it and my husband wants to go back again soon. breakfast is plated not buffet yet since the restaurant is still being built. we got two 55-inch tvs in our room and size was just right for a family of 4. swimming pool is warm unlike most pools that you have to adjust for about 15 minutes so you can enjoy swimming. what i loved the most were the hotel's staff you can really feel that they wanted to do their best to grant every request as long as they could. there was just this one thing that broke off everything coz our check out took almost an hour because this employee Christine said she called me while i was waiting at the lobby yet i didn't hear anybody who called my name. i observed her on how she treated other guests and she seemed not fit for customer service she looks like she doesn't love her job and would rather sit on the office instead of talking to guests she didn't even bother to say sorry, the other lady was the one who apologized for her. i let it slide instead of letting her ruin my afternoon my kids we so hungry and all they wanted was eat lunch but this Christine caused us to eat lunch at 2:30pm!!! i hope i don't see her again the next time we go back amd i suggest if you encounter her ask somebody else to do your check in she is just so unpleasant to deal with. i have to commend Charles, who was very approachable, courteous and kind I really thought he has a high position or something. kudos also to the ladies who were with him they were all fantastic (well except for that Christine!) all in all i would rate them 5 out of 5 stars i just hope they transfer Christine so everything would be perfect coz she's just a nuisa

not picky on location? this hotel is for you. located in sta. cruz, the area is bustling with people and if you are the type that judge the book by its cover, this place is not for you.the hotel, however, seemed fully secured, what with guards, some with sniffing dogs, surround you as you enter the facility. the breakfast buffet is so-so but if you are to order a la carte, be prepared for the best chinese and asian cooking, good prices too! there is a casino but beware if you are a non-smoker; you will be fumigated! lrt is available and entrance t hotel via lrt is fully guarded. very close to ongpin (manila's chinatown).

I needed to travel to Manila in order to renew passports for six of my seven children. The Fersal Hotel in Santa Cruz was centrally located near the areas of our interest, US Embassy, Star City, Mall of Asia, the Laloma Baptist Church and mades a convenient meeting place for the reserved van to meet us for a day vacation to Enchanted Kingdom. Needing three rooms for the boys, girls, and parents could have cost a fortune but the low rates made our week stay affordable and pleasant. The friendly and concerned staff took the time to hail taxi's, care for our children's breakfasts, store some items we accidentally left behind until we returned, give directions to places in the area, rearranged our rooms so that we would all be on the same floor, etc. I felt safe with my family there.

I was pleasantly surprised with this boutique style modern hotel in Manila. Nice clean rooms and excellent friendly staff. I didn't drive but there are a few parking spots available. Daily breakfast is included, you order the night before and they deliver to your room at your specified time. When you arrive you will feel very welcome as the security and front desk personnel are all very accommodating, professional and friendly. WIFI is excellent throughout the hotel, I never had a single problem in the 2 weeks I stayed. It's the next best option in the area after Winford Hotel and Casino, which costs twice the price! Unless you prefer to have a full service hotel with casino and swimming pool - I highly recommend Oriental Zen Suites as your best option for clean, comfortable and safe accommodation.

I stayed in Getz hotel for 3 days with my daughter. We stayed there for her board exam. She has to eat breakfast as early as 5:30am, she’s a vegetarian and the hotel’s cook is suppose to be on duty at 6am, but they patiently granted our request to cook for my daughter’s breakfast at 5am since she cannot eat the free breakfast food that is prepared at 5am. The cook woke up extra early to cook for my daughter so she went to her exam with a very good and healthy breakfast. Thank you so much Getz Hotel for the hospitality. My daughter and I surely had a great and comfortable stay in your place.

I enjoyed the hotel very much. The staff is excellent. I wish it was in a better location. It is just to far away from everything in Manila. My only other issue with the hotel is that a drain in my shower was not working. I asked multiple times for it to be fixed and it never happened. Staff was friendly and very helpful for everything. The massages in the hotel are excellent as well. One of the best that I have ever had. I just wish the hotel was closer into the main city.

booked this hotel as it is very near to Jose Reyes Memorial Hospital as i needed to do my checkup, people are friendly and helpful and it comes with a 711 downstairs and 2nd floor has a massage place where a relaxing smell greets you before going to your room..downside are on the room i stayed is the water heating doesnt work and the toilet needs more cleaning and the flusher doesnt work so u have to rely on pail and bucket to do the work (which sucks if u have a knee injury) and there is also no AC controller available as u have to ask the reception to do it for you (which sucks if u find it sleeping too cold in midmorning and u want to turn off the AC when you are going out) but overall, it is not a bad stay 🙂 there are just few adjustments and room to make the stay better 🙂🙂

We were conrteously accommodated by the staff from day 1 to check out day. Breakfast were served on time. Housekeeping does their job well and we're courteous to ask if we need anything. The hotel is strategically located near the mall, bus station and a lot more commercial establishments such us fast food and restaurants. Public transport is not a problem at all, you can ride easily find and ride jeepneys to bring you into a lot of destination in the metro. Overall, we're satisfied. Great value for money too.

This was the second time i stayed in Lope De Vega Tower, and i still loved the place. While my few issues with the place were still there (no towels, no hot water, no wifi, no restaurant), i still feel that my stay there was worth every peso spent. The place was close to where i needed to go to and close to both the LRT and MRT lines if i needed to go farther out. Will definitely stay with them again in my future trips to Metro Manila.

hi my name is peter .By the way let me tell you something .it's was a really great experience to stay on Venetian hotel. I spent a nice times on Venetian hôtel Oyo . Staff worker was very kindly. . they take care of the customers and the services are very affordable.it is not far from the city center and the airport. I recommend to anyone going to Manila not to hesitate to stay at Venetian Hotel located at Aurora Avenue Santa Cruz of the Chinese General Hospital. it's really a nice place to rest and enjoy safely. thank you again for this wonderful stay.

This is a beautiful hotel, with lots of whites and blues and a friendly staff, always there to help you with problems. The halls and rooms are beautiful, many with mirrored ceilings(how sexy can you get?) The price is very reasonable, the location is perfect, with walking distance to the Carriedo LRT Station steps away, a supermarket on the 2nd floor, street markets and restaurants thruout the area. And if you don't need a consistent Wi-fi connection for your laptop or iPad or don't mind stepping out into the lobby when you need to reply or to make calls on your cell-phone or you don't mind getting a staff member to insert his card(because yours doesn't work) every time you want to get into your room, this is the hotel for you in Santa Cruz. On the other hand, the A/C works fine, there is hot water for yur shower and you get a new toothbrush, shampoo, soap and toothpaste each day. You do have to remind the staff when you leave the hotel to clean your room, because they haven't heard about the slip-on-the-door plastic note to the staff to clean your room. I naively thought all hotels, regardless of degree of comfort or luxury, had them. Breakfasts are o.k., but the toast is nothing to write home about and even watered down juice or fruit would be a nice touch. I would advise guests to always follow thru on requests, not waiting very long for a response, since their method of communicating seems to be hit-or-miss.. I asked for breakfast at 7:30PM and it either came 7 minutes early or 30 minutes late(and even then, I had to stop a waiter in the hall to ask him where my breakfast was). Since my critical needs in this order: wi-fi that works 24/7 and my cell phone that sends and receives messages everywhere in the hotel didn't happen, I could have lived with less than perfect all other room and hotel features. In conclusion, I can't stay there again.

This Hotel offer a clean room, a very strategic location at the heart of China Town..just one step from Santa Cruz Church..near the LRT station..it's everything that you'll ever need for a Hotel. I was traveling for a business, and it's an advantage for me to stay at the Golden city hotel because place that I need to go is 168 Mall which is close to the hotel. we can just take pedicab or tricycle for 60 php...but usually we give 100 php... hehe,anyway we will surely go back to this hotel next time cheers.. Wonderful stay. We are business people. When shopping in bulk, and for bargain price, the best place is still Divisoria. We bought boxes full of goods from the stores near Orion hotel and the suppliers delivered them for free to our hotel. We were freed from the burden of carrying our goods back to our car or riding a pedicab to transport the goods. After a long and tiring shopping day, we found a haven just a few steps away. We rested and the next morning, breakfast was served in bed. Then, I went back to 168, 999 and Tutuban Malls again. We were spared from the traffic of going back and forth, had the time to prance around, rather than do panic buying!!! We will definitely go back..this is less expensive than shopping in Pratunam, Bangkok
