By far my favourite accommodation of my travels in SE Asia. Room was clean, comfortable, and mosquito free and the location was perfect. Owner and staff were incredible. They went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience on the island (which I did). Couldn’t have asked for more.

Definitely Coming Back!”
I went to Koh Rong Samloem with my friend to escape the busy life in Phnom Penh. When we arrived, we could already tell that the staff are really friendly and we were right! Our first night there was epic. Met new friends whom we had drinks, chat and danced with. Yes, we danced all night, the staff would let us choose music we want and go crazy the whole night. On our second day, we did something different. You really never know what's gonna happen. Me and my friend wanted to sing after last night's grinding on the dance floor. There was no Karaoke but the staff still made it happen for us. It was bummer that we only stayed for 2 nights. So me and friend said that we are definitely going back for more. The food was great and the room was nice and comfy with a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We missed the boat so can not check in in time, then we called to ask if we can check in tomorrow. And to our surprise they told us it's okay for us to check in tomorrow. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is so nice and clean and spacious. We will def come again to them next time. They also waited us at the pier. Very recommended !!!

the place to stay in Koh Rong Sanloem ”
We had a great time at Sara Resort. The most hospitable staff I've experienced in a long time. The rooms were great. Hot water, air-conditioning and comfortable bed. The food was great and we even enjoyed a fire show. Would deffinately come back! Good location and in reach of other more quiet beaches. Thank you!

A great bay facing bunglows property”
The resort is a good one and the namesake of the other one just along the coast. It is a bit cheaper than the other one as well. The location is a great one, and was our chosen one as this resort has some of the best rooms on the island in terms of the location, each room faces the bay and you have plenty of space in front of the rooms – these are like cottages. We enjoyed the place. The food options are limited, they don’t have a coffee machine as well, but the pizzas are good. The place itself is a bit laid back which we liked and the staff doesn’t bother you at all- they are very responsive though- our door locks were not working and they set it right in the evening itself with a person standing guard all the time,. You will get the beach to yourself with full privacy assured. The beach is clean, the place safe and the staff ever helpful – what more can you ask for! A word of caution is to be careful around the puppies ion the resort, they are friendly but their mother is naturally concerned with strangers so please be safe and careful.

New Beach Bungalow in Sanloem”
The hotel sits on a beach in Koh rong Sanloem. I would get the seaview next time because the view will be much better. The garden view is at the back of the seaview bungalow with a little bit of tree (decorated with lights at night). I think the hotel is run by expat. It has nice and cozy feel to it. The hotel staff that help you check in is very nice (i cannot remember her name) but she's very friendly and give is lots of info as this is our first time. She even help us arrange for the boat to the pier for our departure the next day. She also help us booked for plankton tour (MUST DO IN Sanloem) and it was awesome (very recommended). The island have few minimart and you can eat in any restaurant in any resort. We choose to eat in our hotel. The food was really nice (breakfast too) and reasonably price. Outside the bungalow you get your own bean bag to sit on and we love the spray to clean your feet from the sand. But the room can get very sandy too. No hot water but have A/C

Perfect location, lovely staff”
We stayed for 4 nights in total and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach huts are very clean, comfy bed and lovely balcony with sea view. The location is right on the beach within 5 min walk from shops and all the bars and resturants. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Thank you for your kind hospitality. Upgrade to Sara Resort”
Our booking for Sarasea was not possible and they upgraded us from 3 star to 4 star. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The food was excellent. A few minor points of attention to detail for a 4 star hotel. The sink and tap was in put in the wrong place and door handles needed screwing on properly. These minor issues did not detract from an enjoyable stay. I would recommend this place.

Very nice and clean bungalow. They were not doing any cooking when we were there but there are plenty of restaurant to choose on the beach. And the beach on a good day is absolutely stunning.

This resort is in the middle of the bay. The bungalows are all with AC. They have to do some maintenance to keep it up. Nice staff. You will have a good time.

The team at Sarasea were kind and thorough and I loved the location. When initially booking I didn't mind the high season pricing (it was New Years Eve) but the restaurant let it down. Packet instant coffee or cheap tea in a glass meant that my planned lazy mornings of having a nice breakfast to start the day ended in needing to go outside to find something higher quality. The menu really trends toward pub food, I would've appreciated healthier options. The room was clean, the facilities were sufficient and the location was great. But, it wasn't quite good enough given the pricing was the same as actual resorts nearby.

All of our rooms are very comfortable and I am pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Although we are on an island with limited electricity, all rooms do come with Wi-Fi, air-con and hot water! Sara's location is extremely popular with guests because we are right in the heart of Saracen Bay, near everything you could need during your time on the island. Normally, our breakfast is very popular with guests, so I do apologise that you didn't like it on this occasion. Our prices are a bit higher compared to what you might expect on the mainland, nevertheless I do believe that we provide value for money for the service we provide on Koh Rong Samloem island. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location ”
Very clean and basic rooms . But we are on a small island so that is what we can expect . If you stay here be sure to stay with beach view because they are the ONLY ones with HOT water . The good thing is that there is air con ,happy hour between 12-6 . A veranda on the little house . Beds are quite hard but my friend who stayed at One Resort said the same thing about them . It would be helpful with some hangers to hang the clothes . The mosquito nets seem new and clean .

The room is standard and would be nice to stay in but there are huge gaps in the door frame and floor boards that let mig bugs in. When we stayed there was a storm and when the rain stopped big moths came flooding in from under the gap in the door. Also could hear something rustling in the floor below us. We left after one night even though we booked to stay for 2. Staff were nice though

We normally arrive to pick up our guests up from the pier, but you must contact us first to tell us what time and with what company you are coming with. Cambodia is a wet and humid country, especially during the rainy season. All rooms have mosquito nets and we still recommend our guests to bring mosquito repellents as it is a monsoon season.
