For me a typical low Budget Hostel. The beds are ok and the bathrooms more or less clean. You will meet most backpackers in Hpa-an at this place. There are to balconies and a sitting area to hang out and meet people. The staff is ordinary friendly. You can Book Bus tickets and tours for fair prices.
If you want to have a dirty overpriced room, stay here! Otherwise go to the friendly Galaxy Motel further down the street.. We had booked 2nights in SoeBrothers and were surprised from how run down and dirty it was. I dont mind staying in less comfortable places but than the price shouldnt be so high! We always paid the same amount in other places in Myanmar and always received good value. Here you dont even get breakfast (in Myanmar you almost get everywhere breakfast).

“couldn't be worst”
we booked a room despite the reviews of ancient customers because the guide (le routard) that we are using suggested it like a good place for backpackers. We knew that When you book a room in the cheapest guesthouse in town you are coscient that you are not going in a luxury hotel. However the reality was really worse then expected. The first room that Soe Brothers proposed us was full of mice feces. The second one was blind and during the night bed bugs bit us everywhere. The tea and coffee reserved table was full of ants. A simple advice: don't go there.
