I booked a 10th Floor Grand Bayview Corner Suite for one night at Solaire. The staff are highly trained Filipinos who are very polite, accommodating, energetic, sharp and they seem to love their jobs. Excellent Management. The room was very spacious, with two (2) large Flat Screen TVs, Long L-Shaped Leather Sofa, Las Vegas Style Bar, King Size Bed, Digital Safe, Writing Desk, SPA-like bathroom with tub and a mesmerizing view of The Manila Bay. I strongly believe that Solaire has got the best views of the Manila Bay even in their Restaurants. They Have the best property location in the developing Entertainment City Manila. They offer 24-Hour Energetic Room Service. You would not be shy to call at 3am. The food and cocktails were really great and World-Class. The pool bar area was just wonderful and very relaxing as they also play modern - classic - chill-out / lounge music. Although I used to be a self-proclaimed professional poker player, I never sat at the tables nor played any Casino games available in the hotel during our stay. But definitely, Solaire is a haven for finesse gamblers. Maybe next time I'll try for old times' sake. Solaire will make you feel like a High Roller even if you are not a gambler. They have a newly opened Private Karaoke Villas which are exclusive for Members Only. The membership is a deposit of Php. 1,000,000 with a consumable bonus reward of Php. 200,000. However, they still entertain Non-Members with a Villa Rate of Php. 30,000 Consumable for 4 Hours Karaoke stay. Because of this, we just decided to sing in our bathroom. They also offer Massage Services for USD 100 for 90 Minutes. Breakfast at Fresh was indeed fresh and yes, refreshing. We were very lucky to have been given a 4PM check-out time which gave us a chance to swim one last time after brunch and enjoy our suite longer. It was a wonderful stay at Solaire and we hope to do it again soon. They will make you feel like A Million Bucks. Cheers to Don Enrique.

So me and my partner decided to have a staycation at Solaire. This is actually my first time to do this "Staycation" thing since I first heard of such a word. So, here is my rating for my stay @ Solaire Resort and Casino. My time of arrival is 7 pm, The exterior is wonderful, dancing fountains, lights glowing here and there illuminating every corner, showing the grand venue Solaire has to offer. I was greeted by friendly staffs. The receptionist who assisted me is very accomodating, the place is so huge, you can get lost in it. There are slot machines every where in the first floor, with gambling tables filled with people, I am a non-smoker but you could see that there are a bunch of people who light cigarettes indoors, there are food courts for those who wants to spend less, and there are restaurants (Japanese, Korean, Chinese) for those who want to indulge in fine dining, also they have a Lucky Noodle stall open 24 hours a day, they have a bar directly in front of the reception, for thise who want to drink, sit back and relax. Then there is the theatre at the Left Wing, shops for those who want to buy luxury brands. When you look at the interior design, it is very much sophisticated and intricate, filled with lush colors that make it more than just a 5 star Hotel. We are assigned at the 14th floor (Executive Lounge) and to tell you, the money you pay is very much worth it! 😊👌🏼👍 Upon entering the room, We were amazed by the amenities on board, the room is so spacious, the bathroom is so big and lovely, there's the king sized bed, the big flat screen tv, which I think measures 40-50 inches, there's a mini bar, but all of these are not complimentary, you need to pay for these once opened and consumed, Oh and yeah, upon checking in, the receptionist shall be asking you for incedental deposit charge, total of P5,000 per night, so be sure to have extra money, but do not fret cause they will give you back your money upon checking out. It's a prefect stay @ Solaire Resort & Casino Hotel during my stay in Manila. The hotel is very luxury and the room & service is very impressive! All the staff there are very polite and professional. I had a super good experience when i stayed in this hotel and will highly recommend my friends to stay there. The room is big & comfort. Lot of varity of good restaurants there and it's really worth to pay money to have a try in this luxury hotel.

Stayed one night just to check one of the best resorts in the phillipines. As expected the security and staffs were doing their job in right ways. Taxi plate numbers were recorded as you make a trip to anywhere for your safety runned by japanese owner which is solaire resort's private taxi. Besides the taxi you can also take the shuttle runned by the resort which will take you to Makati area or Mall of Asia just 20min away. Care for the traffic going to makati area all through out the time except sundays and late night till morning.^^ Dont take breakfast so passed it but the food court was exellent with all kinds of dishes from all over the world. Swimming pool was in renovation so didnt get the chance to use it. The room was uber clean and comfortable with everything you could need to spend a night from home. Casino was awesome with all kind of games you can look for in casino. Dealers are professionals compare to other casinos i been to in manila. I know theres many more services in this hotel but didnt use it cz its kinda expensive.. besides i wasnt so rich for this hotel everything was perfect and specially the staffs!!! They were really tall and pretty and handsome! Besides the looks they were uber nice all time even made this poor boy give big tip and i didnt feel waste at all. The service, smile, accommodations and looks.. they deserve it.. See you again in the future!

Ahead of the competition...for now”

Overall it was a good stay, if you are looking for a modern hotel with good amenities than you will get what you pay for in Solaire. Where they get in front of other Manila hotels is that they are the first large scale casino hotel in Manila that can hold its own with Vegas or Macau standards. While they may not do well in those places at least it has some grandoise to boast. We stayed at a club room with club access which offers much of the usual luxuries you would expect from Executive lounges (afternoon tea, cocktails, breakast, etc). That being said, I think they still fall short on maximising the strengths of the property. First off, their restaurant wing blocked a good number of the bay view rooms which kills a great opportunity to see the sunset of Manila Bay in many rooms. I also would not recommend this for families with kids as they have annoyingly strict rules for kids passing through the casinos (as if a 7 year old can slip a bet at the craps table under mommy's nose right?). Thus makes going around a bit of a hassle. And if that wasn't enough, they have one of the most unusual routes to the pool which is again located in a very restrictive area (feels like you can only access it via an emergency exit on the 3rd or 4th floor...and the pool is at the ground floor!) Overall I would recommend this for business travelers, as a conference venue, gaming enthusiast (large casino floor by Manila standards) and for its fine restaurants (we dined at Finestre which serves superb Italian while being surrounded with great digs - I heard tat steakhouse was good too). But give it a second thought if you want a family vacation.

Amazing Rooms, Great Food and Gaming Choices, Fine Amenities, Helpful Staff”

Staying at Solaire exceeded my expectations. First off I got bumped to a suite with an amazing view of Manila Bay. Dined with friends at Kiwa (Korean BBQ), Fresh (international buffet), and Lucky Noodles (Chinese dim sum and noodles), none of which disappointed. Walked the casino floor that had a good balance of table games and slot machines. It has one section with 10 tables of video-assisted baccarat that I enjoyed. It also has top of the line shopping with names like Versace and Ferragamo. Again, Solaire exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to go back!

A refuge in a concrete jungle. The most luxurious”

I spend 3 weeks in the Philippines, we stayed at Solaire Resort & Casino a total of 4 nights, 3 different times. Solaire in Manila was a stop-over, in between Island hopping. We liked it so much we spent an extra night there. It was always relief to have a luxurious hotel, in between Palawan, Boracay and Ilocus. Security was tight. There was a problem with the toilet plugging up but that was quickly fixed.

PERFECT LUXURIOUS STAY TO END OUR VACATION!”

Chose to stay at the Solaire as the last segment of our Philippine Trip, as we wanted an effortless transfer to the airport (NAIA), because Manila traffic can be horrendous! It took about 7 mins to get to the airport, so mission accomplished. The hotel is extremely grand! It reminded me of the Wynn Casino & Resort in Las Vegas. Security is tight, which is a good thing, all the facilities are clean, modern, and grandeur. Loved all the dining options, the luxury shopping boutiques, the pool, the complimentary shuttle to and from Mall of Asia, and the service. The service was top notch! Only 1 of the 2 rooms were ready at check-in but it was ready in about 15 mins after, not a biggie, but I was late to check-in so I thought it wouldn't have been an issue. Also, upon entering my room, you could smell the old cigarette smoke residue in the walls, not super welcoming but not enough to warrant changing rooms.

Being a hotel manager my self, was admired by the great costumer service provided by staff of Solaire Resort & Casino Manila. Angel at the front desk reception was great and outstanding. Erickson with the Concierge and Bell services will treat you like royalty! Great service overall, its people like these are what make travelers of all types come back and stay again....

Superb very nice and will definitely come back there! Very high quality wide choice of international food. High quality service. Very high-end. If you looking for a hotel for a good price in luxury class in Manila with all atractions in no distance just book Solaire its a just 15-20 min form a Airport, beautiful located on Manila bay with views to the city skyline and the ocean. Just Marvelous ! Rooms are big, nice with hight speed internet you have value for the money. Try the breakfast bufee its just best of the best.

Beautiful suite room overloooking bay.”

Our first time in the Solaire and found it a pleasant surprise. The reception staff and customer manager where really helpful. We booked a city view suite and where upgraded to a bayview prestige suite that had a wow factor. The finish and furnishings where fantastic. Room service food was delicious and quick. Bath water slighty warm but okay. A big stand alone modern tub. Toiletries all top of the range quality. Not a big gambler there are slot machines on the casino reception area but came for the room anyway on route from Boracay onwards. It is very near the domestic airport terminal and only took 25 minutes unlike Pasay Bourges Boulevard hotels where you can get stuck in traffic. This hotel gives you a full personal service maybe a bit over the top with personal contact after booking in. Haven't stayed at some other hotels in Manila yet so will not rush to go back but a first class experience.

Great Place BUT not good for families with young children”

First and foremost I want to write an honest review so let me start by saying that The Hotel Service itself is fantastic! Amenities were great. The Lounge where we had breakfast was excellent and the people there were superb! But we came here specifically to watch a show at the Solaire Theater. The show itself (the sound of music) was for kids so I thought staying at the same hotel where the theater is, was an excellent idea so i didnt have to transfer luggages esp since i had to pack and go home the following day. We were scheduled to arrived at 12nn but our flight got delayed for an hour so we arrived at the hotel past 1pm and everybody was hungry. Unfortunately, I didnt know (and i didnt researched in advance) how the hotel set-up was so I was surprised to see that the casino area was at the ground floor and immediately seen when the door opens.. (my bad) We searched for a restaurant nearby but all of them wouldnt allow kids inside which was actually understandable since the casino was right at the front. So I decided to just go to Resorts World to dine instead. Note to Self & Others: If you come here without kids.. or if you come here to enjoy the casino, im pretty sure this would be a great place. But not for those staying with kids... plus the place has that smoke smell in it... Its not in anyway that disturbing for others but a nose like mine certainly was.

Once in lifetime experience ”

Last Saturday upon our checking-in with Solaire Resorts and Casino we were so surprised to be upgraded from a sky tower room to a villa, indeed it was a very very happy day that we all enjoy a very luxurious and amazing 500 sq meter room with all the amenities and superbly special carpeted and a back to back designed walls and rooms. It was so exclusive that there is an assigned butler for all our needs ( esp meals and refreshments). I cannot believe it, we thought we were just beside the huge pool but when we were toured, the room has a private pool facing the bay and so beautiful that we were gazing the dinner in the sky crane operated platform. Everything was so exhilarating from the white linens, towels and the scented aromatic bathrooms. OMG how can i be proud for such a privelege given to my whole family. Its the best place so far.

FOUR THUMBS UP”

After a six month separation due to work, I wanted to surprise my wife with a little bit of a second honeymoon, and we couldn't of stayed in a better place. Everyone starting at the front desk who very nicely gave us an upgraded room, to the wonderful staff throughout the whole resort, made our stay such a special memory. Both of us detest casinos intensely, but this wasn't really an issue, although you still see the gambling areas. But the swimming pool area, along with some of the sections promoting local art,, and some of the best chefs cooking in all of this vast city it didn't bother us whatsoever. Situated on Manila Bay, it gave the two of us a wonderful peaceful few days, that was just what the doctor prescribed. And make sure you get a room with breakfast included. You'll be upset if you don't. Two thumbs up from me, and along with my wife, you can include another two.

Family Vacation July 18, 2014”

Our stay was wonderful on July 18, 2014, we love the whole experience from day one. We are already planning our next trip back to the Philippines within the next three years and we have the Solaire Resort & Casino as our top choice when we come back. We want to thank everyone from the front door with their warm smiles which started our experience. Then Elaine at the Reception desk who made the additional effort in accommodating us when we were hours early was able to check us into a room when one was available coming in from a long flight. I would like to see an area for the kids besides the swimming pool, maybe an arcade room for the kids? Overall, the place is beautiful we thank you for the experience! U.S.A

I like everything in solaire. The staff cleanliness the matress n pillows was so comfortable. The only thing i dont like is the casino where in you could smell the smoke from the cigarettes and in the waterside resto it turns me off of i smell the smoke from tobacco which is very very awful. Since there is a law already where in you should not be smoking in public area why not just designate a smoking area n have a separate place for those who wants to play in the casino but are not smokers. It ruins the ambiance of the hotel. My family would only want solaire n we make sure to celebrate my fathers bday every yr in solaire. I been to different hotels but i still cant get over solaire i would still come back to solaire. I just hope that you could maintain the relaxing ambiance n the clealiness.

I can't believe it's also great for kids!”

I was hesitant in booking Solaire since it's a casino and I've been here several times and I know that no matter where you go in the hotel, it's impossible to not passby/see the Casino area which I thought was inappropriate for our kids of ages 2 & 4. Nevertheless I booked it since they have a nice pool that's very kid friendly and we decided to just celebrate our daughter's 5th birthday there... and so we spent a night there just with our family and then for our breakfast buffet, some members of our extended family joined us, she had a blast... the only down thing I can say us that the Fresh buffet area staff seemed to be very slow with everything... I think the management can easily fix that if each staff has dedicated tables/areas to wait on so that nothing is forgotten and everything will be served systematically... thank you, Solaire!!! My daughter had a great birthday celebration at your hotel!

Our experience staying at one of the best hotels i”

We have stayed at Solaire On 3 separate occasions and the staff and service has been exceptional. I would consider Solaire resort the best hotel I have ever stayed in and probably one of the best in the world. Simply walking through the front doors and being greeted by lovely smiling staff and the breathtaking lobby just about sums up the entire hotel. Spectacular! ”

Our stay was perfect although short... we had to travel the next day, but the hotel is definitely one of the finest in the Manila / Makati area. We've not experienced rooms that were as clean and well kept as in the Solaire. There are plenty of places to eat on the premises so no need to leave the resort, unless you want too. It is the type of hotel you say to yourself as you're leaving "we'll definitely be back."
