We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were very warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location was also perfect, close to Sunshine City mall with restaurants, shops that kids would love, and major attractions. I especially appreciated the little details, like the thoughtful amenities and prompt housekeeping service. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
The hotel is conveniently located in a mall in Ikebukuro. The airport buses stop at the hotel so it’s quite easy to get to from airport and back. No more worrying about lugging around suitcases through train stations. There are more locals and expats than tourists in the Ikebukuro area even if your groups book their stays here. That being said, the check in process was quite slow- we had to wait more than 45 minutes for our turn. Triple room was spacious enough for us plus our luggages. Room was also clean and modern. Overall a good place to stay.
This was our 3rd trip to Japan. Our 1st traveling with a stroller and wheelchair/walker. Being centrally located to various activities was the selling point for us. We still wanted to get some of the "touristy" things in, while having the flexibility to slow down for our oldest & youngest members of our party. Pros: • location - easy walk to/from train station, being attached to the mall, there were lots of things for toddlers to do/eat without even having to leave the property • activities - being attached to Sunshine City Mall made it easy for us to still do things without having to always go to the train station. (Sunshine City Aquarium, Tenbou Park, walk around the mall, play at the Bandai Arcade, gachapon area, Pokemon Center, KiddyLand and Toys R Us) There was also a Thomas the tank engine indoor play center that our littles loved. • laundry facility on site • Family Mart located in the lobby, perfect to grab quick snacks/drinks for the day • bus stop - the hotel is also a bus stop for the IkeBus, perfect "slow day" activity •water pressure, heat - perfect to relax aches after spending all day walking. Cons: • air conditioning - no individual controls, so our rooms ran hotter than we would have liked. • elevators - the elevators were often overrun by multiple tour groups meaning longer wait times for elevators (once the tour groups were checked in/out or in/out for the day, it freed up the elevators a bit) on our check out day, we decided to check out early, as we knew it would be crowded once the tour groups started to move for the day, yet it still took us 20 minutes to get ourselves and our luggage to the lobby. • beds - beds were hard (not even firm, just hard) which made sleeping uncomfortable
Very convenient location as Airport limousine stops right in front of the hotel and it’s in the middle of everything. Mall connected to it and convenient store in the basement with ATM. Small rooms as expected, barebones but has all the basic necessities. Clean and comfortable and courteous staff. When we were leaving there were so many of us leaving that it took 30 mins to get an elevator, which is not ideal if you’re in a hurry. Not enough elevators for the number of floors/rooms. Good enough for a short stay.

It's located in a pretty convenient location and is a short walk to the metro station (about 5 mins once you leave the shopping centre) and a longer walk to Ikebukuro JR station (about 15 mins). Family Mart is downstairs and there's an exit that leads straight into the shopping centre, so plenty of food and shopping options. There's also an airport shuttle outside the hotel. Note that this is a very large and busy hotel with tour groups. Luckily, this time we had nice quiet rooms and neighbours, so we had a fantastic time (wasn't so lucky the first time with noisy neighbours a few years ago during our first stay). The staff are great and very friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and air-conditioned (but it's not particularly strong - so this may or may not suit you). Also you cannot open windows. The bed was comfortable and our room was spacious for Japanese hotel standards, with water and cleaning provided daily. However, the bathroom was quite cramped. The view from the window was spectacular overlooking the city. Overall, really enjoyed our stay again and would definitely not hesitate to come back.
