Argubaly the resort beach is amongst the best in koh rong. Took the beachfront room and was not disappointed at all. Great view and a wonderful way to wakeup. The food and drinks were also nice and Channa took care of all our concerns and made the stay even more pleasant. The pool is also well placed and very well maintained. The beach and ocean with clear water was a bliss. I shall visit again.
We stayed here during rainy season, however it was still amazing. We got upgraded on our arrival, and the room was so spacious and clean. We felt right at home. The food was lovely, as was the pool. The staff were the star of the show, went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend!

We called to check if all is ok. But when we arrived the pool was completely closed for maintenance and we were not informed. The hotel did apologise and gave us a complimentary free dinner. But we stayed for 4 nights and had to go to neighbouring hotel, which allowed us to swim if we ordered food.. not happy with that. The beach was good.
Overall is good. Only the water in the room is yellow and the technician try to repair but cannot help much.
The view is okay, but the room has so many ants, and the water is so dirty. It's a brown colour, but not smelly. The water pressure is low. Swimming pool a bit dirty. It is better if the owner can renovate the room.
Located directly on Pagoda Beach with white sand and blue sea. An idyllic location. We toured the island by scooter and visited many other resorts and beaches from Longswt in the south to Lonely Beach in the North. Nothing was better than Pagoda Beach. Very highly recommended.
The beach is spectacular and the water is incredible. There is about six or so resorts along pagoda beach which are all accessible as you walk along. I messaged about confirmation of which ferry to get across. Som was super super friendly and very willing to look after us. Lovely demeanour. The best ferry for Pagoda beach leaves the ferry terminal in Sihanoukville once a day at 130pm. There are other ferries during the day but they go to a different beach. Still, it’s only a five dollar taxi ride to get to the resort. Rooms are super stylish but a little worn. The island and the water make up for any fault in the amenities. Bring your coconut oil for the sea lice. They are a little annoying but should not take away from the island experience.
I should preface this with- I can be a bit of a princess. My next stay is at the Pan Pacific Hanoi. You are on Koh Rong! If you want a quiet place, beautiful beach this is a great place. The food was good, so was the selection of drinks. It’s a bit of a ride into town but $10-15 for a TUK TUK is good in my books. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you are here to party, stay in the town, it’s a great place.
L'endroit est très beau, la vue sur la mer et les bungalows très bien situés, mais les installations sont très vieillissantes (transats hors d'age et donc inconfortables, robinetterie idem, pas d'isolation phonique ni thermique...). Le personnel fait ce qu'il peut pour vous être agréable mais beaucoup sont trop juste en Anglais. Dés que vous posez une question ou sortez de ce qui est écrit sur la carte, ça coince. Dommage... L'établissement semble avoir été repris récemment et une nouvelle équipe a reris les rennes durant la fin de notre séjour. Un peu trop tard pour nous...

We had a great time at Sweat Dreams. We have a family of five and all of us enjoyed our time at Sweat Dreams/Pagoda Beach. The food was great, staff was awesome, and our room was very nice too. We can’t wait to go back!

We were the only guests at hotel for the first day, beach is lovely and also extremely quiet. We hired Scooters and staff organised, taxis and boats for us.

There are only a few resorts on this part of Koh Rong next to each other, so be careful which one you choose. I would definitely not recommend Sweet Dreams, being one of our worst hotel experiences we have encountered so far. The entire resort is in a general bad shape and not well maintained: there were mountains of garbage in the back area of the hotel, a terrible smell in the restaurant area, the pool was dirty, beach beds broken; the bathroom of our bungalow was disgusting, we had ants in the bed… cleanliness is clearly not a strong point here. On top of that we had a very unpleasant communication with their Phnom Penh based management. As our little son felt ill, we decided to leave the island earlier and asked for a mutual agreement for reimbursement, given the situation. The answer was negative, even though Agoda tried to negotiate with them as well.
Dear Michael, We're sorry you were really disappointed by the smell and the lack of management from our hotel. During that time period, our hotel was understaffed and our management was recently changed. Due to Covid-19 were still affecting the hospitality business in Cambodia, we couldn't hire enough staff to make the operation run smoothly. Furthermore, the garbage collector company never arrived on time to pick up the trash, we had to call them almost every time of day. There are no excuses from us, we as a resort should have done better. Since then, we already renovate the facility, straighten our housekeeping to be more hygienic, and take all the trash all the way back of the hotel to eliminate all the bad smells. This review is a little too late to respond to but nevertheless, we still appreciated your review and we hope you come by to see that we did change for the better.

the aircon cannot work and the technician checked, but not fix it. no one let us know what it's going on, no any solution for us. if the room is not in right condition, the hotel should notice us ahead.

The owner has changed, so probably all the qualities of the past. Hot water did not work for the 3 nights. Was told it be fixed on second day but no one spoke a word on it. Understaffed. No coffee. Cleaning was poor. Not value for money Good side was staff was friendly and knew what guest pain is but unable to do anything as they had reopened last minute for the season. Beautiful beach. but not kept clean as theyre understaffed. Whole area of resort has poor finishing. Although facility was clean.
Had an awesome experience during our 3 days stay in Sweet Dreams Resort. - The room is clean and cozy - Sumptuous food, good value for money and generous serving of FREE breakfast 😋 - Nice pool with a breathtaking view of the beach specially during sunrise🌞 - Very serene place perfect for relaxation. - Amazing,approachable and friendly staff 👍 They even helped us for setting up the birthday surprise for our friend..A good service indeed 👏👏👏
Would like to thank sweet dreams staff for the wonderful stay and food during the trip. One tip is to take the speed boat arranged by the hotel pickup at 3pm as it only takes 35 mins, instead of going on own and will take 2 hours changing boats and truck as the beach is still new and secluded. Hotel is really nice, pool is awesome food is great, just a weekly cleanup can be done so the beach can be kept rubbish free.
Firstly, the resort is how it looks and the rooms, restaurant and pool are as expected. The staff were lovely and helpful. Food was really reasonably prices and tasted great. We were even given a lovely to go breakfast as we were leaving so early on the last morning. The resort is currently being extended to add an additional row of villas and the construction noise was annoying. The main issue for us was the general state of the island and beach. There is rubbish everywhere and little streams of run off that look like sewage going into the sea from every resort along the beach. It put us off swimming in the sea and we made a bit of a game out of jumping over the ‘toxic rivers’ as we walked along the beach. I enamel violently ill on my second day, I had eaten at the resort next to this as well so I can’t say for sure what the cause was. The journey through and from Sihanoukville is enough reason not to go to Koh rong.
Before we came I contacted him by email but somehow [SPAM] it's automatic sent more than hundred mails to him but my sent box was only some emails that I sent. He was not happy with that even it's not my fault. After that I contacted him by wattsap he talked to me like he dsn't want me to come there. Asked him sthing he just answered like NO, DON'T HAVE ... If he answered SORRY WE DONT HAVE THAT ... or sthing like that will be different. When we first came I really want to meet Mr. Dimitri coz many people comment that he was verry nice. I asked him are u Mr. Dimitri and he anwsered me by an unhappy face NO HE IS MY MANAGER. In the morning we sit in the restaurant about 7 and wait coz the food will be ready at 7:30 and then he appeared gave us the menu and go back to the kitchen and I say hello 2 times but no one came out. Later he came and angry with me he said why r u screaming like that u can't wait some minutes!??? .... Hope his attitude will changed for the next time I come.
Loved: the bed, the sheets, the cleanliness, the pool, the hosts, Dmitri and Narad want to do everything they can to ensure a good time, the included breakfast, free paddleboards Did not love: limited restaurants (only the one at Sweet Dreams and one next door, which we found service to be unfriendly and terrible), short beach with not a lot to do, and sand flies, of which nothing can be done.
It was an amazing times we were having there. The staffs were very friendly and the environment was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed it a lot. Furthermore, the WIFI's speed is unbelievable. I can't believe there is such fast speed in an island. The only problem was the location. After we arrived Coconut beach we got picked up by a motor truck and ride another 20-30mn in the night before arriving the bungalows. And the road was not pleasant at all. Highly recommended travel destination. But make sure you have booked a boat to pick you up from coconut beach. Otherwise, it is a risky move. But the place was such a paradise.
Before you decide to book this hotel, read this. Sweet dreams definitely lives up to its high ratings on the Internet. Here's why: 1. The people that run this hotel know how to keep their guests happy and they do it well. Friendly, sincere and professional all at the same time. 2. The chalet, the white sands, and crystal clear water when combined, are just surreal. Did I mention that there are hammocks too! That being said, this beach seems to be in rapid development, hope this place doesn't get polluted in the future. 3. My wife and I are very particular about hygiene and this place doesn't disappoint. Our room, the cafe and the beach are very clean. 4. Heartfelt thanks to dmitri and anatoly - our very first review goes out to you.
Very friendly staff. Food was excellent and cheap. Infinity pool with beachchairs in water was awesome. Nice, quiet beach and clean! 5 star hospitality from we arrived until we left. We are coming back for sure next trip to Cambodia and hopefully for more nights than this time!
The location and the nature are simply gorgeous. Unfortunately, we had problems checking in, but this was made up for with a cocktail on the house. However, we wouldn't come again. For this money, we definitely got nicer, more luxurious and more stable accommodation. The rooms were OK, but for this price, the rooms should be great. The food was OK. The breakfast was OK too, but as I said, it's a matter of opinion, we made the best of it. We wish you all the best.
The hotel is directly at the beach. There is a restaurant, a pool and a couple of bungalows - that’s it. Very nice, very friendly, perfect for having a great relaxing time away from everything.
We enjoyed our stay at Sweet Dreams. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Poorly the Swimmingpool was in a renovation process during our stay, but the manager made it possible that we could use the pool from the neighbor resort. They offering a good a la Carte Breakfast and also had many meals to choose for lunch and dinner. The beach in front of the Resort was very clean and well maintained. The water was very calm, crystal clear and the sand white. If i come back one day to the Koh Rong Island, i would come back to sweet dreams.
Das Personal und der Chef waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung war sehr ruhig und schön, man benötigt aber einen Roller um ein wenig etwas von der Insel zu sehen. Unser Zimmer war auch sehr schön. Ein leichter Beigeschmack waren leider die Moskitos, wofür aber niemand etwas kann. Man kann es wärmstens weiter empfehlen ❤️
Freundliches zuvorkommendes Hotel
Super schönes Hotel direkt am Strand. Bester Pina Colada innerhalb unseres 4 Wochen Aufenthalts in ganz Asien. Super Frühstück, Eggs von Hell sind sehr lecker! Beachfrontbungalows sehr empfehlenswert, traumhafter Ausblick! Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Roller mieten ist in den umliegenden Hotels günstiger.. Dinner hatten wir in den umliegenden Hotels, daher nicht bewertbar, aber ala Cart Frühstück war super, toller Cappuccino!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Der Pool und der Beach Bungalow waren das absolute Highlight. Vorsicht am Strand vor Sandfliegen!!! Der Weg zwischen Peer und Resort war mühsam und teuer da während der Low Season und Regenzeit die Straßen zerstört waren und Taxi Boote die Preise somit angehoben haben. Von der Speisekarte war leider nicht viel zu haben. Das Frühstück wurde von Tag zu Tag kleiner und es konnte am Ende nur Eier und Kaffee / Tee angeboten werden. Sehr bedauerlich. Das Personal war dennoch aufmerksam und bemüht. Leider haben wir keine Erfahrung in der High-Season.
Anlage und Umgebung sind ein absoluter Traum. Das Personal unglaublich liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Ausreichend Geld und Verpflegung nicht vergessen. Jederzeit wieder

Wir hatten einen super schönen fünftägigen Aufenthalt im Resort. Es ist für Leute die Einsamkeit und Entspannung suchen perfekt. Dimitri hat uns vom ersten Tag an jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Der Service war an sich super, könnte aber am Pool noch ein wenig mehr stattfinden. Der Strand ist traumhaft weiß und das Wasser glasklar. Allerdings kein Ort zum Party machen. Das sollte einem bewusst sein. Auch schwierig ist es, in die nächst größeren Orte zu kommen. Es lohnt sich also nicht einen Roller zu leihen. Wir haben Ruhe und Erholung gesucht und daher war für uns der Urlaub dort perfekt.
The hotel’s location is ideal, on the most beautiful beach of the island. Very peaceful and relaxing. Just 10 minutes by scooter from the pier and close to many good restaurants. The pool is judge and has an amazing view—it’s like a postcard, it feels unreal. We extended our stay to one week because we loved it so much here. The staff is amazing, very kind and helpful. Their assistance was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel; it’s the best!
L’hôtel est magnifique. La chambre était propre et avec une superbe vue. La piscine donnant sur la mer, et les palmiers était très appréciable. Gros bémol sur la nourriture qui était chère et sans goût. Nous avons pu louer un scooter via l’hôtel ce qui a rendu notre séjour pratique et agréable. Nous recommandons cet hôtel
Une plage magnifique, baignée de lumières indigo. Quelques déchets plastiques malheureusement échoués ça et là viennent rappeler que "la civilisation" n'est pas loin. L'île de Kho Rong n'a pas grand intérêt mais ses plages sont très belles et méritent le détour. Excellent petit déjeuner.
Tres bon rapport qualite prix
Nous avons réserve en dernière minute pendant les fêtes de fin d’année avec un budget de plus de 200€ la nuit. Le rapport qualité prix est pour moi pas à la hauteur pour le pays. La literie est très ferme, la salle d’eau pas pratique et la couleur de l’eau jaunâtre. J’ai demandé du gel douche parce qu’il y en avait plus, on m’a mit a peine de quoi prendre une douche et cela ressemblait plus à du liquide vaisselle qu’à du gel douche … le personnel est agréable mais pas attentionné hormis le manager du personnel qui est extrêmement investit et accueillant Je le remercie d’ailleurs il veille à vous accueillir à l’arrivée et vous accompagne au départ … L’hôtel est isolé donc au calme et les bungalow face à la plage agréable. Les tarifs appliqués (repas,location scooter, activités…) sont au delà des tarifs que vous pouvez avoir sur Koh Rong beach ou lonely beach (super resto)!
Le endroits est assez unique, mais loin de toute, le prix restaurations et boisons , le établissement pratique le prix double, voir triple exemple une bière angkor coute 3,5 dolar lorsqu'il coute 1,5 ailleurs. La nourriture, n'est ni khmers ni européenne, difficile à située. Parole de cuisinier. Les matelas du lits très dur , pas confortable. Unique réconfort c'est que le chambres, sont très grandes avec 2 lits doubles. Et le nature alentours est magnifique, mais très sale. Plastique partout. Personnelle est serviables, mais ils oublient souvent les commandes ou réservations. Séjour maximal que je conseille c'est maximum 2 à 3 nuits.
