This is another great hotel in the New Makati area of Manila. The hotel is centrally located near Century City Mall in New Makati. The mall has many good restaurants and shopping as well. The mall also has a movie theater. The staff at this hotel are very professional and provide you with the best service possible. It is a very friendly and hospitable hotel. The rooms are very clean and are very comfortable. I don't know if all the rooms come with a little kitchen area, but every time I have stayed there, my room had a kitchen area. Very convenient!Every time I have stayed at the hotel, I have always felt comfortable and safe. They have an adequate fitness center, and a great pool facility. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is planning to visit the New Makati area of Manila. Its location is idea for shopping, sight seeing, and partying out. Everything is right there for you.

Nice and comfortable”
This is a great hotel if you want something nice, but affordable. The room I had was nice, with a kitchenette area. There isn't anything fancy about the room, but it was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a long stay. The location is excellent. It is what is now being called the Century City part of Makati, next to A-Venue Mall, where there are ample restaurants to chose from. This area is about to explode, one of the largest developments in the Philippines is being built right behind it. That being said, you think you would hear construction noise, but you don't. It wasn't until the last day of my stay when I walked around back of the hotel and realized they were building a mall and 4 major buildings behind the hotel. For the adult who wants a little excitement, the go-go bars of Bourgoise are right across the street. For shopping The Greenbelt/Glorietta Malls are 2km down Makati Avenue. Rockwell Power Plant Mall is a 15 minute walk. I really like the Antel Spa and highly recommend it.

Close to city centre and high st with clean rooms.”
If there is a deal on this hotel, book it. For 15-20% off list price, it is a great bet in the area. Clean, spacious rooms, gym, pool (even though it was always deserted and kind of odd), and very friendly staff. I have had better breakfast though. They will store your bags if you are doing a boracay hop. There was an audible bassline from a nearby club until 2-3am, but with the AC on we barely noticed. Understand that the area is one block from the red light distinct. Do not book if you have small children unless you plan to cab everywhere immediately upon leaving the hotel. The 4 block distance from the clean, business centre of makati more than warrants the 50%+ discount in price from Mandarin and Shangri-la, as the area is noticeably different. If there is no deal, City Garden and St Giles are nearby and also great options. Supermarket, 7-11, and small mall (A Venue) right across street. This hotel is right aside the "A Venue Suites" which are targeted more toward business travelers. This hotel is more for leisure. This hotel has the infinity pool.

My go to place when staying in Makati. ”
I have reviewed this place before on previous stays and it continues to be one of my favorites. I usually get the one bedroom suite and am happy with it. The only issue I have had is I have been put up in the A Venue tower and they have refurnished the bedroom suite. That does not sound bad until you see they have bought furniture that does not always fit the room. On one stay, the desk was in the living/dining room. On the next stay in the neighboring room on the same floor, it was in the bedroom. And it obstructed the right door of the built-in armoire. The other gripe is that in both bathrooms, the glass shelf that holds all of your items is not well made and tilts towards you and the sink. Things you set on it like to fall in the sink or on the floor. There is almost no space on the vanity counter to set anything due to the size and shape of the drop-in vanity bowl. The last issue is that the place still has three check-in desks in two different foyers, even though the place has merged into one hotel. Before, if I had booked into the old Best Western Antel, I knew to use a different counter. Now you have stop at one counter and be directed to the proper one once they figure out which room you have booked. I know I have layed out several gripes, but I like this place because it is still the best one for the price and it sits on the crossroads of Greenbelt 1 km to the southwest, Powerplant Mall 1.5 km to the Northeast, Century City just behind it, A Venue Mall just in front of it & P Burgas three blocks to the East. Depending on what you want to do or who you are with, you can find something to do, see or eat within easy reach.

Dear Guest, Thank you for leaving such a wonderful review. This will motivate all the staff in the hotel to continue giving warm and friendly service to all our guests. We look forward to seeing you again here at The A.Venue Hotel. Sincerely yours, Elias Castillo General Manager
Good service, great location!”
I was worried reading the reviews that the location was hard to find. That was not the case at all. It's basically right off Makati Ave. The Antel mall is on Makati Ave. and easy to find. The rooms are bigger than I was expecting after reading reviews and the Antel mall is growing and has all you will need outside your door. Breakfast had a nice selection with fresh fruit. The scrambled eggs were a little runny for me taste but they have a fresh cook to order egg station...nice touch. I wish the price were a little lower, but it's new and in Makati so probably a fair price for a very nice room in Makati. I really have no complaints. Will definetly stay again.

Worth the money but a couple faults”
Very clean and new place. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice central location on Makati ave and close to p. burgos street famous for entertainment and girls. The only thing is, I booked a double thinking it was a double bed but there is only 2 single beds for the good price at this hotel, the beds are new and comfortable and if you wanted you can push them together. But to upgrade to a room with a king size bed for 2 nights would have cost me over 2000 pesos Asked for an iron and I was brought the oldest iron in Manila, it couldn't even keep water inside, something was cracked in it I guess. I didn't try the food but i had to rate it, there is no food in this hotel but next door is the same owners so you can eat there. I gave it a 3 since i thought it was expensive for the breakfast buffet.

rome”
we (5 persons) stayed in this hotel for one night in mid june, and enjoyed our stay so much. it's a brand new hotel and the construction of the mid and lower floors are all completed, 3 out of 4 elevators were working at that time, i only needed to wait for less than 1 min for the elevators and the staff are really nice and helpful. we booked one twin studio and one 2-bedroom suite. both rooms are beautiful decorated and the 2-bedroom suite is spacious, with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, also 1 sofa bed (sofa) in the sitting room. although the rooms aren't as big as other 4 stars hotels, its price was really attractive and i found it valuable. the location is good also, not far from major area. we used 400peso to book a van to the hotel but i think 200 peso was enough for a taxi. the hotel staff will help us to find taxi and andrew, the staff who helped us, even talked with the drivers so to prevent us from being cheated! (drivers in manila wasn't all so honest and would not use the meter so often.) andrew even helped us to write down the taxi's no. and gave us the hotel's no. so that we could call them if the drivers didn't use metre for the journey or asked for higher price. i would recommend this hotel to every type of visitors, because it is save, clean and valuable.

Pleasant stay at Antel A Venue Hotel”
I have stayed in the one bedroom suite at the Antel A Venue Hotel a few times for the location, large room with kitchenette, hotel gym and pool facilities and all modern conveniences like shops, supermarket, restaurants, outdoor market, laundry, 7/11, bars, clubs, night life etc, etc nearby. Great value for money for a one bedroom suite room in a hotel in Makati. Stayed at other hotels nearby and cost more for a smaller standard room. Will now continue to stay at the A Venue suite room when I visit Makati.

Exceptional”
The staffs were really nice! Even if some of the pieces of furniture already need refurbishing, the room already had everything we needed during our stay. The rooms are competitively priced, significantly lower than other hotels, and the location is really great. A. Venue is near Century Mall and a lot of restaurants. The staffs are always willing to help you with anything, be it carrying large grocery bags, or just with opening the door for you. We really recommend this place for a short stay in Makati.

Nice Room, Nice area, but lacking a few”
Stayed for 1 week, but paid for 5 days (2 days were free, thanks to agoda's deal!) It is located away from the hustle and bustle of Makati Avenue, the hotel is fairly new and is a combo of hotel and condos. Construction of other 'wings' are in progress when we stayed. Points for the following: -We had a deluxe queen room and it was very nice! The room was very clean, and the decor was modern and on par as advertised (room did feel a bit slow) -Staff were friendly, and concierge were around to attend to your needs and open doors for you as well. -Wendy's, 7Eleven, Drug Store, and other restaurants are walking distance. -Close (with taxi) to major shopping areas such as Ayala Center, SM Mega Mall, Greenhills Shopping Center. Minus points however for the following: -Noise from A.Venue events. You'd figure that putting a huge concert venue in front of the hotel, you'd soundproof the rooms but that was not the case. There was a metal concert till midnight and a mayor's birthday party that we had to try to sleep through...it does get pretty loud so be warned! -Slow elevators. Only 2-3 elevators out of 4 were working and they were slow! They service 34+ floors so waiting for the elevator was a daily nuisance. -Breakfast was redundant. Food was almost the same everyday, with only the main meat changing. My GF ate some fruits that tasted rotten and suffered from stomach pains throughout our trip as well.

The best hotel for the price in Makati”
We stayed on and off in this hotel for the last 3 weeks between our trips around the country when we got back to Manila this is the hotel we stayed at. When we had first arrived in the Philippines we had stayed at a different hotel for 2 days which didn't even come close to the standards of the Antel Best Western Hotel. We reserved the 1 bedroom mini suite The room was great. Very clean, has all the amenities of small kitchenette, slippers, robes, toiletries, mini bar and safe. The living room has a flatscreen tv with many cable channels, a couch and coffee table. The bedroom has an extremely comfortable bed, another flatscreen tv. Each room has its own air-conditioning. The bathroom was modern and had hot water all the time. There's free wifi for each floor of the hotel. And the wifi worked very nicely in the rooms I must say. The room was cleaned and tidied every day. We also used their laundry service which was excellent and everything came back to us perfect and on hangers and folded. When we took our trips around the Philippines we were gone for 3-5 days at a time and they stored our luggage for us for free! Was very pleasantly surprised by that. We stayed in all 3 buildings of the Hotel. They are all OK but the Serenity Tower is the newest of the 3 buildings so I definitely recommend specifically asking for that building of the hotel when booking your room. The rooms are more modern in the Serenity.

Good location, nice rooms”
We stayed a couple of times at this hotel. We would often avail of the flash deal one bedroom at the serenity tower of the hotel. The room is big, nicely decorated, with all the basic amenities, with hot and cold shower, toiletries, hairdryer, coffeemaker, microwave oven and a mini bar. It has a nice living room with a couch, tv and a small dining table. It also has a small kitchen with empty cupboards where you can store your dry goods (convenient for long stays). The room itself has a very comfortable queen bed, a desk, a tv, and a cabinet with safe. Bathrobes, slippers, sewing kit is provided. Free WIFI internet speed is okay. We tried their breakfast buffet once but they have limited choices of food and beverages. You would be much better off eating at one of the nearby restaurants located at the mall beside the hotel. There's also a nearby supermarket and you would not have trouble with transportation in getting around Manila. We would certainly stay there again whenever we're in Manila.

Clean and fresh hotel. Nice interior”
The hotel was centrally located in Makati, however it was close to Burgos nightlife and the music could be heard late a night. However, the hotel has a nice, fresh and modern interior with friendly and respectful staff. Taxis regularly pass through the hotel so transportation is not an issue. It's very close and within a few minutes drive to a lot of shopping malls and other attractions. Walking distance to a supermarket and restaurants and foreign exchange. The rooms were a bit small but spacious enough for a family of five with small children. The beds were clean and comfy, which is a big deal for me. THe view from our hotel room was nice with the city skyline except there was construction going on.

Nice place in a great location”
I have stayed at A Venue several times. It is a nice hotel in a very convenient location. Some of the rooms are small and weirdly configured. I prefer it for a short stay. For a longer stay make sure to get one of their larger suites or you might get a little claustrophobic. Well kept and friendly staff. Across from A Venue Mall and around the corner from Century City Mall. Good deal for the price.

value for money, good food”
the hotel is located in Makati avenue behind the A. Venue mall. the room that was given to me is a corner room, so the noise from the nearby room was not a problem. but when you walk along the hallway from the lift to your room, you can clearly hear the people inside the rooms. the spa in one of the towers offers good massage. the food from the hotel's restaurant is a bit pricey but it's good, so you wouldn't feel that it was a waste of money.

Excellent Hotel in Good Location”
I have stayed at this hotel many times and every time on my arrival I find something new for the guest. On my recent arrival, I was surprised to find that a newly opened SM grocery store has been opened next door. The other thing that was nice is the fact that at night they have an open bizaar in the parking lot in front of the hotel offerring many different filipino and other cultural foods as well as mant small kiosk selling clothing and gifts. I would recoomend the hotel for the first time traveler to manila, since the hotel is close to Glorietta and Greenbelt Malls and also very close to the Makati redlight district for those guest looking for nightime activities.
