Booked a single room, smaller than I thought however worth the price for one night. Booking through Agoda was super easy and the front desk staff were able to check us in immediately. For a hotel based in London it was very clean. Easy to connect your device laptop or phone to the TV in the room to Chromecast any shows or movies. Great for a short stay. Note, room doesn’t came with any plates or cutlery so you may need to ask for that when ordering food. Toilet/bathroom is very tiny in the single room. Downstairs lobby/reception area is super cosy and comfortable. Not a very busy hotel for this time of year (October 2024) and I quite enjoyed my stay. We had to check out early because of reasons and the Front Desk staff were very easygoing and friendly. Thank you and I will be coming back.

Had a fabulous stay here, the hotel was lovely and exceptionally clean. The reception area was extremely pleasing on the eye and the staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble....room request, extra supplies for the room, directions etc, no problemo whatsoever!! The pool area is stunning and the bar on the 20th floor next to the pool area had the most fantastic views in the evening. It felt like we were in New York! The prices were good too in the bar...it only costs £8 for a cocktail, which I couldn't believe. The studio room was quite small but it was spotlessly clean, well equipped with everything you could need (iron/ironing board/hairdryer etc) and there was ample room for my daughter and I. It was also easy to find being only a 1/2 minute walk from cross harbour DLR station (a couple of stops from the main Canary Wharf station). There was a Tesco express and a Co-op very close buy plus a nice Indian and also a Chinese restaurant and also a Jazz bar. I would also recommend the George pub just near cross harbour station....the conservatory and beer garden were lovely and cosy and the food was devine! Overall Good Stay”
The location itself is really lovely and accessible. Slightly annoyed we were told we could check in early only to be told they were overbooked. The room itself was clean however needs some maintenance with the stains and little touches like removing used shampoo bottles. It was great having a kitchen area. The pool and bar area were stunning and well kept. Again need to ensure all the lockers worked as we took our bag into the pool area. The staff were pleasant enough just need slight customer service training in terms of making someone feel welcome and having sound knowledge of the facilities.

Lovely, comfortable stay ”
I personally enjoyed my solo stay at the Ark. The whole place is quite fancy mixed with comfort, from the lift to the spa and all other amenities. The room definitely could use AC, luckily I read the reviews so travelled with my portable fan otherwise doing my makeup would’ve been hell!! So definitely something to consider if staying here over summer. Room size was perfect for me I’m only a small girl, I went for the classic studio. All and all, I lowkey didn’t want to leave. Will definitely visit the ark again.

Fantastic value ”
This hotel was extremely good value, location in Canary Wharf was great, just three stops on the DLR, Dean on reception was so helpful, the room was a very strange shape but it managed to have everything I needed a kettle, bathroom products, iron and ironing board, table and chairs, the bed was comfortable and so are the pillows, but a little bit on the small side as I’m used to much bigger bed but for what I paid, I can’t complain. The swimming pool was great ! Unfortunately, the Jacuzzi wasn’t working , but that didn’t spoil my fun , however there was so much else in this hotel that I didn’t actually get to use the table tennis golf simulator, café and bar. The Agoda website that I’ve booked on, gave me a better price than my normal websites. So overall, it was a win-win.
