    “The ultimate in attentive service.”

Before coming to Japan, I unfortunately lost my credit card. I had a replacement card sent by DHL to The Green Leaf Niseko Village, but the package arrived after I had already checked out. I would like to sincerely thank a staff member named Tral Cragun, who went above and beyond to help me. During my stay, he continuously followed up on the shipment, and even after I checked out, he kindly arranged to have my document (credit card) forwarded to my next accommodation. Not only Tral, but all of the staff who coordinated and assisted with this situation were incredibly helpful and professional. I was truly impressed by their care and dedication. For anyone planning to stay here, I can confidently say that you will receive a warm, genuine, and thoughtful welcome. 10/10 in every aspect.

    “Exceptional Stay Experience”

The property boasts a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The cleanliness is very good, and the facilities are well-maintained, patricularly the hot water and bathroom amenities which enhance comfort. Housekeeping is attentive and efficient, ensuring everything is in order. Breakfast is great with a lot of choices from Japanese style and Western style. Ski in and Ski out is perfect for beginners with cable car just 10 steps walking out from the entrnace or just ski down via a beginner's area to reach the chairlift to other areas.

    “Winter holiday with kids”

    * 2 stars room - haven't been upgraded since last visit (7 to 8 years ago -no refurbishment and etc) * 2 stars - due to the unpleasant experience during check out I first visited here with my husband seven years ago, and this year we returned with our children so they could experience winter and skiing. We booked two rooms. I have expected for a higher level of standard for the price ( *** per night per room) that I have paid in terms of services and customer experience. Overall, the rooms are generally small, and housekeeping is only provided on alternate days. Housekeeping staff are very helpful and friendly though. Most of the staff appear to be part-time; some are friendly, while others are not. As many are here on short-term contracts, when we asked for information about the surrounding area, several staff members were unsure and not willing to assist. During checkout, one staff member attempted to charge us twice, explaining that the first charge was done incorrectly and needed to be processed again. When we requested a merchant transaction slip or an official receipt from the hotel, he was unable to provide one. Another staff member in a suit stepped in, seemingly to help, but came across as impolite and arrogant. In the end, they were still unable to print any receipts or transaction slips. Overall, the front desk staff were unprofessional and not well trained for a reputable hotel. As front desk staff are crucial representatives of the hotel, only experienced, well-trained, and professional personnel should be placed in this role. Shuttle buses provided by Niseko Village run to several key locations, including Milk Kobo, Hilton Niseko, Hirafu, Kutchan, and nearby hotels, making it convenient for dining and shopping. We also signed up for ski lessons. Ski sets and equipment are available for rental at the centre next to the hotel. Most of the staff at the ski centre were very helpful, although one cashier wearing glasses was notably unfriendly and unhelpful, despite appearing less busy than his colleagues, who were actively preparing equipment for guests. As it was peak season and very crowded, we arrived about 30 minutes late for our lesson. It took some time for the staff to locate our booking, so collecting equipment much earlier is strongly advisable. That said, the kids had a great time learning to ski with their coach. The hotel has one restaurant and a lounge. The restaurant, Goshiki, serves a good variety of food for breakfast. The staff there are very friendly and helpful, and it is clear that the manager has done an excellent job training the team. The food quality is good, with the chef regularly coming out to check food availability, and the manager consistently walking around to ensure everything runs smoothly. We had breakfast here daily and lunch during ski lesson days. The lounge is cozy and serves decent à la carte food. We had dinner there one night and enjoyed multiple drinks on several occasions. It is a pleasant place to relax and hang out. Overall, our stay was decent, with the exception of the front desk experience. I strongly recommend that only staff who are well-versed in hotel procedures, professional, and friendly be assigned to the front desk, as they represent the company and shape guests’ first and last impressions. Between, I have yet to receive any receipts /transaction slips for the extra charges even after a week.

    “Excellent Location but Need Improvement”

The resort is a bit dated. Service at restaurants were excellent, very friendly and attentive staff but service at front desk need improvement. Staff were helpful but they don't appear to be very approachable. The onsen was not very welcoming and really need to be upgraded. I used it only once and was not encouraged to use the facility further. Given the price I paid for the stay, I didn't feel it was value for money.

    “Nice place on the slopes”

Amazing service oriented staff. Breakfasts were wonderful with wide variety of Asian and western dishes. Don’t order dinner from the bar/lounge. The food there tasted like airline food at best. Rooms were comfortable. Baths were very nice!
