"物有所值" in English means "you get what you pay for" or "something is worth its price".”
This place is very clean. The 3rd floor has a kitchen and dining table, while the 10th floor has basic cooking facilities and a lodge. If you need to work using a laptop or something, the lodge on the 10th floor is great (the 3rd floor is also okay, except during breakfast time). The staff are very friendly and willing to help with any situation - they helped us call a taxi and asked where we could buy **, even if it wasn't something typical tourists would like, they did their best to assist and gave recommendations based on local experiences. It's not far from the shopping street and subway. Taking a taxi to Sapporo Station costs about 1230 yen. There's a 7-11 convenience store next door, and a Seicomart convenience store just a minute's walk away. They offer bicycle rentals (2 bikes, first come first served, no reservations accepted) (charges only apply for rentals of 2 hours or more, and the prices are reasonable). *Taking the airport bus and getting off at "Minami 3-jo Susukino" and walking with luggage for 10-12 minutes can be a bit difficult for me, but it may not be a problem for many people. *The walls are thin, so neighbors are important, but usually everyone follows the rules. The hotel also provides new free earplugs for guests to use as they please.
Good place for a short stay”
Overall, had a good stay! The room was very small but I could open my (small) suitcase and there were convenient outlets for my devices. The staff let me store my bags before and after check in and checkout which was very helpful. They had some restaurant recommendations posted too! The showers were pretty clean and had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Bring your own towel or be prepared to pay to use one. Had a couple complaints about cleanliness- the walls were a bit stained, there were some stains on my blanket (the sheets were fine! Just the top blanket had some stains), and there were some dried up contact lenses on the windowsill of my room. Also, I was on the 4th floor but after 10pm you have to take the elevator all the way to the 10th floor if you want to use the showers. I get it, it's noisy, but it was a pain. For location it wasn't bad but it's about a 10-15 minute walk to train and bus stops so when it's icy like when I went, it takes a little longer to get downtown. There's still plenty around and I felt the location wasn't too bad for the price, but something to consider. Overall I'd stay again!

Great for the cost”
As a solo traveller, this place has serious value for money. If you're fine putting up with a single elevator across ten floors, then everything aside that is great. The rooms are clean, and the bunks are spacious. The washrooms are also clean, and there are well-kept showers in addition to a paid full bathroom. The staff are kind and some of them have conversational-level English skills. The location is close to downtown, and there are good ramen and soup curry places only a couple blocks of away. My favourite part of the hostel is definitely the lounge on the tenth floor; spacious and convenient, situated next to facilities such as a kitchen, washer-dryer section, and bathroom. The view is pretty decent as well.
I wouldn't stay here again”
This place isn't terrible - I will start by saying that the beds, bathrooms, sheets, and hotel are very clean overall, the location is fine and the staff are very friendly, and communicate very well in a variety of languages, including English. But there were a few issues that made me not really enjoy this place: 1. Apparently there is more than one location for the hotel, so when they confirmed my stay, they sent me an email saying to make sure I went to the right one, and then listed an address. Well, I went to that address and it was just a closed-down old building behind a parking garage with an old sign for the hotel on it. I guess they used to have an address there but moved or something. Which is fine, but then they need to be really careful what information they email out so they don't send tourists (especially female tourists) to the wrong address through a parking garage in the night-time in the pouring rain. 2. The "all-female" dorm is a bit misleading because it's still on the mixed floor, which means that you don't know it when you book, but even if you book the "all-female" space, you will still be sharing a bathroom and shower space with men. 3. The dorm spaces are tiny, which would be fine if they had locker space for luggage and suitcases, but they don't, which means everyone has to use up all the floor space for their suitcases. This means that every time you enter or leave the room, you are clamboring over other people's suitcases and backpacks, if the dorm is full. There is also only one lock on the dorm room door and it's not automatic, so you are really reliant on everyone else in your dorm locking the door when they leave if you want it locked while you're all out of the room. Also, just imagine the noise that comes from 8-10 different people tripping over luggage in the dark, locking and unlocking the dorm room door, etc. in a tiny space, all night long, every time they have to go to or come back from the bathroom. Even earplugs didn'
