Excellent Location”

The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is fairly central for buses and trains. It is walking distance to QVB and train stations. The buses stop outside the hotel or round the corner. We were on the 10th floor of this hotel in room 1014 with an outstanding view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. The room was very clean. The tub in the bathroom needs to be updated. The breakfast was awesome with a wide choice of fresh fruit, cereals, scrambled and poached eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, hash brownies,etc. The staff from Reception to the Cleaning staff were all very helpful and friendly. Exceptional staff members worthy of mention were DJ, Concierge Desk ( who was very knowledgeable and helpful), Daniel in the Breakfast room, Kitomi (Reception) and Frank from Maitenance who helped us decode the safe after we were not able to retrieve my wife's handbag and my IPad.

The staff were brilliant, knowledgeable and very helpful and always had the time to offer good advice and answer any queries we had. The food was excellent with plenty of choice and was well cooked and presented. The views were to die for from the hotel which is in an excellent position, the hop on hop off buses stopped at the front door so it was very easy to travel around Sydney and see the sites. The room was comfortable and clean and the cleaning staff were good and obliging and did a marvellous job, lovely people. When we checked out at three in the morning to be at the airport for four, the night desk staff were brilliant and arranged a taxi within minutes, very impressive. We have nothing but happy memories of the Sydney Boulevard Hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to visitors and would stay again should we return to Sydney.

My stay with my friend at The Sydney Boulevard hotel is really worth every penny. Great size room, good shower, comfortable bed, and decent wifi speed. We did not opt for the breakfast as there are plenty cafe's around the corner. The Woolsworth is just on the corner to buy food, coffee, etc. and even dinner.. Loved their Pumpkin Soup. The Reception is kind enough to help us print our Whale Watching voucher...we really appreciate it for the great assistance as we are worried that we might not get accepted without a voucher on hand. The Reception is also very kind to help us on the Airport Shuttle. I highly recommend the hotel, and the staffs were their best assets. They really treat their guest very well. Kudos.

Pretty Goood!”

My girlfriend and I arrived at the sydney boulevard hotel with a free upgrade (to the highest level I think) the views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge were absolutely beautiful. The staff were very nice and professional. I got fast in room service when I ordered the spaghetti late at night. (though was not the best spaghetti I've had .. ) The room was clean and spacious. Although only one large towel was provided, we had to ask for more (they are quite small as well ) Overall, a good experience, would defiantly book with them again.

Great location for first timer visitor in Sydney”

Very happy with our stay at the Sydney boulevard hotel! It was really close to everything. It was walking distance to the Sydney tower buffet, and the big church, we stayed there for 3 days; the staff was friendly and the hotel room was really good. Only critic i have to say is that they need to upgrade their gym equipments but it was bearable and not too much of a big deal. Would recommend 10/10

I love this hotel - I have been staying there a few times already and every time I'm happy to be there again. The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is located on William street - between Hyde Park and Kings Cross - very central place. In 10 minutes walking distance you can be in Kings Cross, Oxford Street, The CBD and many other attractions. The food is good the view from the window is stunning. You will love it.

As usual, I had a great time in Sydney and one of the main reasons was the Sydney Boulevard Hotel - The location is great - just in between all the big attractions, close to the Harbour, the city and Kings Cross. The view from my room was stunning. The room is big and nice. The food is great and the staff is nice and friendly. It is a great hotel and for good price.

Nice Hotel, Good Breakfast, Great View”

Booking the Executive Room-City View at a really affordable price via Agoda is quite a steal. The room is spacious, the city view is indeed excellent, and the breakfast is sumptuous with enough choices. One minor draw down is the 10-12 min walk from the hotel to the train station. It is just near when we do not have our luggages with us, but if you have huge suitcases to bring, it can be tiresome. Very thankful as well to the staff for providing recommendations. Shout-out to Julian (hope I was able to spell his name right) as he gave us options when we were not able to borrow an available adaptor, by suggesting to check Woolies' Metro nearby. It is our first time in Sydney and the universal travel adaptor that we have do not include the one for Australia. There are also other establishments available and some sites are reachable in a few minutes walk - Australia Museum, Sydney Eye, Hyde Park, and the majestic St. Mary's Cathedral. We will definitely be back! =)

Lost in Sydney”

Having looked at heaps of accommodation for a 3 day weekend, I landed on the Boulevard. What a winner, big rooms, great location and views, excellent staff and cleanliness. I reckon its an overlooked gem in Sydney. By the way the price was excellent for Sydney and blew a lot of the competition out of the water. I will be going back. An older hotel with a contemporary advantage.

2 nights at Sydney Boulevard - I will be back”

I stayed at the Sydney Boulevard hotel for two nights. I got a great rate through this site and I loved the hotel. The hotel is older but it is very well kept. The staff is attentive and alert. The apartment I was given came with a bathtub which was nice, except there was no plug anywhere to be found so had to shower. Hotel is just next door to a supermarket and across the road from a few pubs. 15 mins walk to the Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge. Seems both Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines and a few other carriers use the hotel as base as well, which would tell you something about the standard. All in all, very impressed. I tried finding value for money in Sydney and I found it. Can I get similar rates the next time I am there, I will definitely stay there again.

I have visited Sydney so many times and tried so many different hotels. Usually I choose to stay in the CBD. This time I chose to move few hundred meters out of the CBD and I made the right decision. The view from my room on the 21st floor was beautiful - I could easily see the Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Opera House, The bay and The Botanical Gardens. The room was big, clean and new, and the staff was nice, friendly and welcoming. I really recommend to stay in this place.

I thought this hotel was my companies money well spent. I noticed a lot of international Asian tourists stayed here. I liked he size of the room and the cleanliness - bathroom not overstocked with goodies like the Radisson but clean and modern. The bed was soft (I like hard beds) and the room big. Brekky was good - not a salubrious choice but a reasonable one. Easy to grab a taxi to North Sydney so no different from staying n the centre of Sydney as the tunnel was only one block away. The standout here is their down to earth but professional staff. From check-in to out they're just lovely people. I wanted a glass of wine at 8.30 and wandered down to the cafe. I tasted the first glass - stale, tried a second and a third tasting till we found what I liked (because she had the bottle I wanted, brought in from the cellar). Thank-you for putting up with this fussy red drinker. This cafe rep was a young woman who genuinely wanted to help me and she did, awesome. Nothing is difficult from getting a taxi to breakfast. Brekky is not awesome (in terms of choice) but I found everything I wanted and again the staff are perfectly attentive. Well located especially for tourists as there is a pub nearby and a supermarket across the road. Easy for me to get to North Sydney too.

All round great base for a Sydney break”

really pleased with our choice of accommodation during our trip to sydney! we had a harbour view emerald room which was clean, bright & very comfortable! nothing was too much trouble for staff who were all smiling & friendly! room service plus other extras very reasonably priced & hotel dining was of premium quality! the hotel is situated in a good location for publuc transport with buses towards circular quay just across the road & the sydney /bondi tour bus also stopping right outside! my husband & i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sydney Boulevard has a great location - a very nice breakfast place next door, a supermarket and the best - a bus stop for the Hop-off Hop on Sydney tour being right in front of the hotel. The room with 2 double beds is adequate for a family of 4.. Well maintained and courteous staff. Recommended as a ideal base to explore the city.

Nice hotel strongly recommend ”

The room is very clean and comfortable. Staffs are helpful. We stay in a room with harbour view which looks exactly the same as the photo shown. We can enjoy the wonderful panorama of the Opera House, the Harbour bridge, the Harbour, the Botanic Garden and also the St Mary’s Cathedral from our room. The only two shortcomings we found so far are that 1. the hotel is about 15minutes walk from train stations (no matter King’s Cross, Town Hall or Museum station) which is not that convenient for visitors with lots of luggages, 2. No toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided. My parents are disappointed with the free buffet breakfast because there are not much choice on cooked food, especially vegetables. There are still rooms for improvement on the taste. Yet, I am satisfied with the crossaint, pancake and yogurt provided. I will definitely choice this hotel next time when I visit Sydney.

Great Stay”

I want to say thanks to Julian at the front desk for helping us out when we checked in. My wife wasn't feeling well after a turbulent flight into Sydney and Julian went the extra mile to quickly find and check us into our room. Thanks Julian, you are the best !!!! The room was great........comfy beds, great shower, great amenities. Coffee (which I drink 3 cups a day), tea, crackers, sugar, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, q-tips, hair dryer, fridge. The location is great. Nice safe area, about 5 minute walk to Hyde Park, 25 minute walk to Sydney Opera House, 15 minute walk to a couple malls. Metered taxi from the airport was 57 Australian dollars (8 am traffic). Metered taxi from the hotel back to the airport was 50 Australian dollars (no traffic at 4:15 am). Could use the plug in the bathroom for electric razor, recharge a phone (could plug in a standard 2 prong plug from the U.S.). All other outlets were Australian type.

Weekend away”

Great location for being in Sydney if you are having a weekend away. Being just down the road from the CBD the hotel is not locked inbetween other high rise so has nice open views harbour or city. Close walking distance to great food strips and cafes in every direction - Kings Cross, Darlinghurst, Stanley Street, CBD. Good stroll to Galleries - Artspace, AGNSW and MCA through the Botanical Gardens. Museum up the road or if shopping your thing then only a short walk to Pitt St Mall. Hotel is clean and staff really polite. Beds excellent and comfortable.

Great value for money, very pleasant”

Room was very spacious with two clean and comfortable queen beds. There is free wifi, which isn't common in Sydney. Location was very close to the city centre, nice restaurants are just within five minutes walk. Both the Sydney Explorer and Bondi Explorer buses stop near the hotel. And right next door is Woolwoth (Wooloomooloo) where you can get quick bites and stuff that are twice as expensive if you buy them in small grocery stores. All in all best value hotel you can find in Sydney. Would definitely recommend to my friends!

Great Location - Across the street was a SuperMarket so Water - Fresh Fruits veggies - Sandwiches and everythingt one might need only 2 minutes from the lobby of the Hotel - Able to walk short Distance to Movie Theater - Sydney Harbour Shopping - China Town - Central Railway and Kings Cross ( Red Light District ) No Need to rent a Car - Train will take you anywhere you want to go up to the Gold Coast / Sunshine Coast / Katoomba and the Blue Mountainsand there is even a Train Connection close by to the Hotel which you can take directly from the Airport( via Airport Express Train ) as a TAXI Fare into Sydney City can cost you AUD$50.00 - - Will definately stay there again next time

The best stay”

I stayed here on my first 2 nights in sydney before going to Melbourne and the service was just brilliant and I returned here again for my last 4 nights in Sydney and again service was brilliant, i arrived in ther morning but couldn't chweck in until 3 but i was able to leave my lugguage and when i went to check in later my luggage had already been taken up to my room for me which was great. i can not really find any faults. all staff are friendly, professional and always happy to help. I used room service and again that arrived to my room in good time and was great qulity and tasty. room and hotel clean and tidy and close to transport links and only about 20 minuet walk to the opera house and city. would def recomend.
