"We were very pleased with our stay. Location could not be better for access to historic center and dining options. Though we didn't use the pool (a bit too chilly) it looks beautiful, surrounded by palms and a lush lawn. The adjacent restaurant and bar are very good indeed, and the staff is both competent and kind. We found our room a bit noisy because the children of guests were a bit loud, as the sounds echoed against the hard surfaces of the halls. Next time (for we'd surely return) we'd avoid room number nine. A big bonus are the street vendors just down the block. The taco stand does a brisk buisiness every evening with both locals and tourists. Just adjacent is a delightful guy making a kind of fried crueller right on the street. Once the dough is fried, his helper splits it open, douses it with sauce (cajeta, strawberry or chocolate) and rolls it in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. YUM! We cant wait to return!"
